## About Peer5 - WebRTC
Peer5 offers a WebRTC based P2P eCDN that runs in-browser to solve congestion issues. Our mesh networks are self-balancing and automatically scale as the number of viewers rises. Since it is a WebRTC based eCDN it doesn't require any installation on end-users computers nor changes to the physical network infrastructure. Instead, we integrate with any existing player within the event web page. Peer5 was designed from scratch for WebRTC, written completely in JavaScript. We contribute to the WebRTC community and are active members of the W3C steering committee. Peer5 is backed by Y Combinator and additional top Silicon Valley investors.

**What do you dislike about Peer5 - WebRTC?**

Peer-to-peer connections can face challenges when dealing with firewalls and Network Address Translation (NAT) configurations. Some users may experience difficulties connecting through restrictive network setups

**What problems is Peer5 - WebRTC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Some users might have trouble establishing peer connections due to firewalls or NAT configurations. Solution: Use WebRTC's ICE (Interactive Connectivity Establishment) framework to address NAT traversal issues, or provide clear instructions for users to configure their firewalls if possible

**What do you like best about Peer5 - WebRTC?**

Peer5 as a company is great to work with. They are very responsive to any questions or needs raised and they are happy to get on the phone and explain things if needed (rather than trying to explain things via email). On top of the people at the company and the service, the product works very well and is super solid.

**What do you dislike about Peer5 - WebRTC?**

After several months (over a year), nothing to report yet!

**Recommendations to others considering Peer5 - WebRTC:**

Try it out, you'll like it.

**What problems is Peer5 - WebRTC solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Moving video to large audiences over corporate networks is always difficult. Peer5 helps reduce the complexity of moving video to large audiences without requiring the corporate enterprise to install, and manage, plugins on every employees computer or require content caching servers or hardware or virtual hardware to be set up on the network. Peer5 works through HTML5 and requires no set up or management by the enterprise and everything is transparent to the viewers.
