What do you like best about PDFgear?

I've been working with Acrobat and PDF files since the mid-1990s. While I don’t use them daily, every time I do, it’s been a hassle—tools that used to be free now demand payment, others are bloated or missing the features I actually need.

PDF Gear is a breath of fresh air. It’s intuitive, reliable, and gets the job done without friction. The UI is clean, the functionality is solid, and I didn’t have to jump through hoops to complete my task.

I haven’t felt this genuinely grateful to discover a utility in years. If you’re tired of the PDF shuffle, this one’s worth your time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PDFgear?

None that I have found, other than I didn't find it 20 years ago. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PDFgear solving and how is that benefiting you?

Every little thing these days is a hassle. You can’t establish an API without an hour of troubleshooting. Pushing a repo suddenly requires steps it didn’t 10 minutes ago. The tools I rely on keep shifting under me.

PDF Gear is the exception. It’s the one utility that didn’t fight me. No surprise paywalls, no broken UX, no mystery errors. Just clean, functional execution.

In a world where even basic workflows feel like a battle, this tool helped me keep my sanity. I really needed something that just worked. thank you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PDFgear?

What problems is PDFgear solving and how is that benefiting you?

The feature I use most often is removing unwanted pages from a PDF, adding new pages, and rearranging the page order. I can also convert image files into PDF pages and insert them wherever I want in another PDF. Normally, you’d need separate tools for these two tasks, but PDFgear handles them all on its own. I find the editing features really great, making it easy for me to edit and fill in forms as needed for my business documents.
