The business model was appealing, one time cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We tested PDF Reader Pro in an enterprise environment, and it did not work reliably. Several users reported that the PDFs generated by the software could not be opened in Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is a major issue for compatibility.
I reached out to customer support for a refund, but I never received it. Instead, they asked me to troubleshoot the issue. I simply don’t have time for that when the product itself is fundamentally not working as expected.
If you need a reliable PDF solution for professional use, I recommend looking elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I am using my default option for opening pdf . The signature feature is fantastic. I can sign documents digitally without having to print them out. This has streamlined our document approval process significantly. I can add secure digital signatures quickly, ensuring that documents are authorized and ready for distribution in a timely manner. The ability to sign documents on both desktop and mobile devices adds a layer of convenience that is essential for maintaining productivity in a fast-paced business environment.
Easy access and good for every pdf reading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the app crashes when I try to open very large files, which is annoying. This can be a major disruption, especially when I'm in the middle of an important task. Additionally, the user interface could be more intuitive. There are times when finding specific tools or features takes longer than it should, which can be frustrating. I also wish the app had more collaboration features, such as real-time editing or easier sharing options, to facilitate better teamwork. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So easy to load and have form ready for editing vs the others. We had a non-mac user start using and correcting the forms without asking for any help! She even praised how easy it was to use. Purchased a 2 seat license and no regrets. Will purchase more as the team grows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For someone in Tech, PDF Reader Pro is a must-have. It helps you write and manage documental acitivities for anyone in Tech Field. Very Simple to use, can be used by anyone and I am able to focus on my work rather than figuring out how to use the software. The annotation tools in the PDF Pro are fantastic and does not waste time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of now, I do not any complaints so far but there's always room for improvement. They could improve their interface a little more friendly tech savy people but I understand that it is also meant for anyone to use it easily. It could be a little better though Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

PDF Reader Pro is very compatible with my Mac Os and plus it'a user friendly. It's easy and nobody needs to learn how to use this. You discover tools and just get the work done. Most of the people I know, at some point have used PDF Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel the phone version is better. I am not sure if the desktop lag which happens sometimes is due my own system or something. However I would want it to run more smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a consultant, I handle a lot of reports and contracts, and PDF Reader Pro makes this job much easier. The annotation tools are particularly useful, allowing me to highlight and comment on documents seamlessly. The OCR feature is also a game-changer, making scanned documents searchable and editable. The only downside I've encountered is that some of the more advanced features can be a bit tricky to find at first. The interface be a bit more polished to make these features more accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I love most is how easy it is to annotate documents in PDF Pros. Whether it's highlighting text. You can add sticky notes, or draw shapes. It's simple and does not require complex knowledge to use it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally, the software can be a bit slow to respond, especially when opening large files. It's not a deal-breaker, but it can be annoying when you're working on a tight deadline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For the price that I pay for the license, I get most of the features that I requre to work with a PDF document, from editing the text, to rearranging the pages, to converting the document from PDF back to e.g. Microsoft Word format document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I currently use the PDF Reader Pro on an Apple MacOS machine. I have found some minor incompatibilities for some PDF documents generated by certain business applications, that only the Adobe PDF reader is able to read. This I have encountered only on PDF generated by certain custom business applications, so it is not a big problem as these specific problem documents, can be read using the Adobe Reader.
