"Great cloud storage for great price"

What do you like best about pCloud?

This cloud storage is so straight forward and easy to use! One of the best features is that it will back up your Dropbox, Facebook and Instagram account (plus a few more). What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

The solution that it solves for me is allowing me to have more disk space on my laptop. The folders on your computer act as separate drives that allow you to use but don't count as disk space used. It's great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about pCloud?

What do you dislike about pCloud?

I hate to take issue with so many, but for me pCloud did not meet my needs. For months, I have been working with pCloud support to load a full set of my folders & files to their server. After much effort and many days and even more emails we got the data loaded. Then it all fell apart. I think the fundamental issue was that they gear their system to sync and my needs were for back up. As a result, their system kept trying to sync my folder/files and, it seems, the frequency with which my data changed was just too much for them to deal with. This included system files—another area of change, both rapid and frequent.

I did request a refund of the money spent on the lifetime subscription and that initially simply fell on deaf ears. They did ultimately refund the money spent on the lifetime upgrade, though it would have been better for both them and me had that occurred more expeditiously. No question but what pCloud is easy to use, it simply does not work as back-up and both they and I needed to understand that a lot sooner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about pCloud?

This cloud came with one extra benefit - huge space: from the start I had 50+ Gb. Everything else is good (desktop application, web- application that I prefer, mobile application - also very good). File transfer speed is very good, files are always available, Mobile application is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pCloud?

Desktop application is made for people that like original WINDOWS folder look and way of file management. Personally I dislike that and I would prefer a specialized application for this cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Backup 1st rule - to have a 3 copy on diferent places (PC, USB, cloud, DVD or else). Smartphone camera can shoot a photo of 2+ Mb and one usuall inspection have 100+ photos and some other documents. What do you like best about pCloud?

I love that you can use both the desktop version and the website. You can choose to drag and drop files into the website or just copy and paste them into the desktop version. You can also add pCloud as a hard drive showing in My Computer for Windows users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pCloud?

The notifications for latest updates constantly shows up and is annoying until you actually update the program. It's not possible to choose whether to see the notifications or not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Especially for Bulgarian users I think it is a must. For everybody else I personally think pCloud is better than Google Drive as the user experience is much simpler and pleasant to use. What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I am constantly adding to pCloud customers files for my work so other agents can see and use as they wish. It's easier for everybody to see a folder for different client in the cloud and all the required information regarding the client. "Great service which most of the time stays out of your way"

What do you like best about pCloud?

The killer feature is that you can work with your files in the cloud like they are on your local machine. You don't need to synchronize them and thus they don't take any space on your hard drive.

This is very precious when I use pCloud on my old Macbook Air which has only 128GB SSD.

The other thing I like most is that pCloud stays out of my way. It is there and does its job and doesn't bother me with anything. When I need some files it gives them to me and I can trust the service that my files will be on my fingertips when I need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pCloud?

Sometimes in the past there were situations where the desktop client on Mac hangs up and the process needs to be killed. But after installing pCloud versions 3.5.1 I have no such problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great balance between price and functionality"

What do you like best about pCloud?

The team behind pCloud, they are looking for more ways to improve the service, and really take care about users and their opinion.

Media player it's a plus, awesome way to see the videos and pictures uploaded, being able to show your last trip to your friends without the need of carrying a pendrive with you.

Desktop software is AWESOME, seriously, a really intelligent way to integrate the cloud with your computer, there's no need to sync files or set offline folders to have those synced.

WebDav it's also a plus in a cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pCloud?

Mobile apps needs a redesign, they have bugs and not what a user usually expects from an app in 2016, but while they do so it's possible to use the mobile web that works great, so there isn't any real impediment here.

Photo viewer needs also a bit of redesign, they offer great tools like being able to download a resized file of the image, or history, but would be great a cleaner/more beautiful interface..

Last, an office editor it's something they have to add IMO Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is pCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

I store lot of information about courses that I do for the job (I'm a pharmacist improving the services that I offer at the job, same for my team) , photographies for teams and friends, and also videography, so in this way pCloud helps me have that everywhere I go with me, far better than having to syn specific folders.

SO it's not a particular use about one kind of files, it's about lot of types of files and users who with I need to share information, about pharmacy projects, phtoography projects, video... and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best cloud service out there"

What do you like best about pCloud?

pCloud is one of the few cloud services that provide a very nice cross platform experience. It can also work in sync mode, where all your files are on your PC, or the normal cloud mode which saves you space by keeping files only in the cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I'm a software engineer that has a need for keeping many small files, source code, tutorials, images, html files, and more. I also need to have these files on many PCs. I also use it as a cloud service for my personal files, that I also have to share to my home server and laptop. "Excellent product, with a few things to improve"

What do you like best about pCloud?

The possibility to sync any folder is just great! And I know only one other sync product that can do this: Mega. All the other options (except for Tresorit and Cubby which have a similar approach) oblige the user to put everything He/She wants to sync in a specified program folder, forcing you to change your current folder structure. The web interface, although lacking some improvements, it's fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pCloud?

It lacks details about what's going on with my files. Clicking the taskbar icon could display the recent changes on files and folders, informing the user whether they have been created, modified, or deleted, when it occurred, current transfer speed, no. of remaining files, progress bar, etc.

The web interface could improve too. There could be a Details Pane on the right side (similar to that of Google Drive). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering pCloud:

Very good cost-benefit ratio. A stable software which offers a series of features for a fair price. If you want a sync product that respects your current folder structure, that's the best you can get. Nice sharing options, with separate links for download and upload. Bonus: web player. Sometimes I need to move elsewhere and continue working on my laptop, and pCloud helps me by syncing all my work files instantly. "Secure, Simple and a pleasant surprise."

What do you like best about pCloud?

With almost 12GB of free memory made available instantly and nearly 15 GB obtainable the lure is almost irresistible to try it out. Slow uploads are an issue for me, but pCloud install as a mounted drive, so drag and drop is a breeze. Its simple and understandable but what is under the hood does an amazing job at making itself an unnoticeable staple to your online life. I work remotely and keeping up to date on file versions is important. Combined with MultCloud, the solution nears the benefits of a land based LAN. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about pCloud?
