I did not get any reason or deadline for the return of my funds from customer support. I also did not violate any laws or rules and conducted my business activity following all necessary procedures and rules. Nevertheless, Payoneer blocked me, basically took my funds and refuses to tell me when they will return my money or what I should provide to speed up the process. Payoneer is the worst, most stressful experience I have ever had, and I sincerely hope that the SEC will prosecute this fraudulent company. As a new Walmart reseller, I had to wait six long months to receive my first payment, which was wired directly to my Payoneer account. However, when I finally attempted to withdraw my funds, Payoneer unexpectedly closed my account without any explanation. Their customer support is limited to chat and email, making it nearly impossible to get timely assistance. I submitted all the required documents, yet I still have not received any clarity on why my account was closed or how to access my funds. I worked incredibly hard to earn that money, and after waiting so long to be paid by Walmart, I found myself in a tough spot, owing money to my suppliers and credit card companies. When I reached out to Payoneer for help and guidance on withdrawing the funds from my closed account, I received no assistance whatsoever. What kind of company operates like this? It feels like they don’t care about their customers at all. How can they close my account while still holding my funds? I tried to withdraw to my bank, and discovered that the withdrawal was to an old account that has been closed. With competent payment processors, that transaction would have failed and rolled back immediately. Payoneer however thinks that the transfer succeeeded and wants me to wait for two full weeks to get my paycheck. I end up with customer service reps who don't seem to understand the difference between a bank and a bank account, or that a tansfer to an account that does not exist can't work, yet they tell me to ask my bank to reject the transfer... which my bank has not of course seen, since the account is not valid. The customer service is poorly trained and Payoneer clearly does not care about its customers. **What problems is Payoneer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Payoneeer is creating more problems than it's solving. A card you can use online and in shops. IF they allow you to have your card that you pay for of course. That's a big IF... **What do you dislike about Payoneer?** 1. Somebody got unauthorized access to my account. My worst mistake was to report that it was hacked. It didn't help me. It made my situation worse. 2. Payoneer's support (many different persons contacted me) worked diligently and went through a lot of trouble into putting up roadblocks for me. 3. A Payoneer supporter went as far as to research the validation of Israeli ID cards. But their research aren't up to date. The Israeli government extended the validation period to August 25, 2024: (Payoneer got the address to the Israeli government site, the page about renew your id 2022 with proof) This is what Google translation says: A bit about the law: pay attention! In accordance with the amendment of the regulations of the population registry, the validity of the old identity card was extended for two additional years as detailed below: identity cards issued before 8/26/2012 whose validity was supposed to expire on 08/25/2022, the new and current validity until 08/25/2024. 4. This is what has happened and what I've done so far: * Somebody got unauthorized access to my account and instantly moved $480 to his own Payoneer account with the email address: (removed but sent several times to Payoneer) transaction ID 603911587 paying invoice 5726346 that I have never approved nor received. * I received Payoneer's email about the illegal transaction with a link to use immediately if I hadn't authorized it. I clicked the link which led me to Payoneer's maze page with several types of support. It took me around 10 minutes to find the right place... and that just gave me a phone number to call in the US. * I don't live in the US. I can only use my phone in Israel. So I spent another 10 minutes figuring out how to charge Skype so I could call long-distance to the US from Israel. * The supporter I talked to would create a ticket. * Got email from a Payoneer supporter. Got told to use another email address and reply to the questions I would receive. * I replied to those questions which were to: - Give my first and last name - Give my date of birth - Take a picture of myself holding up that day's date (November 16, 7 days after the thief got access to my account - which is how "fast" Payoneer's support worked). - A copy of a valid government issued ID * No reply from Payoneer. I wrote and asked for an update and wrote on LinkedIn, too. * Then I was asked one week later to provide a government issued ID. Which I'd already done November 16, back in 2012 when I got my Payoneer account and again in 2018 and 2022. * I had to send another government issued ID, I was told. I replied that I didn't have any other. I don't have a car and I don't travel. Thus my driver's license is old and in my maiden name. Still valid, though. And I don't have a passport since I have no need for it. * After several emails from Payoneer asking me for another Government issued ID, which I've already said several times I didn't have, came the email from yet another supporter, around 2:30 am my time. * This latest email showed proof of no compassion but lots of energy putting into making things hard for me. The supporter claimed falsely that my ID was no longer valid, which is not true. 5. Result: I don't have access to my account. I have lost $480 and also the around 4 EUR and around $2.50 USD. Plus a pending payment hasn't been accepted since November 15, and I'm expecting more money coming from Amazon in five days or less. Do yourself a favor. Take out your money from Payoneer. Give them to charity. At least someone worthy will get it. UPDATE January 16, 2024 The thief (another Payoneer account) stole my money November 9, 2023. My cards were blocked by Payoneer the same day. I spent hours arguing with them before they finally accepted MY ID card, because I had to prove my identity (because obviously a random person would complain about a theft from my account, right?). So since November 9, 2023: 1. I've lost $480.00 2. I've lost my two debit cards 3. I've lost the payments that KDP and other tried to send me. As for updates from Payoneer? Crickets. They are "investigating" they tell me and thank me for my patience. I guess their investigation team must be very busy. I've heard from many other Payoneer customers with a similar story to mine. Some had many thousands of dollars stolen from their account. Others a few hundred like me. I feel like Payoneer is doing nothing and just stalling. Waiting for me and the other victims to give up. Date of experience: November 09, 2023 EARLIER REVIEW I've had my Payoneer account since 2012. I've several times provided them with the papers they asked for regularly to "proove" that I hadn't suddenly turned into someone else. March 3, 2023, they asked me again. This time only for my ID. I didn't have time straight away but provided it March 20. Since then, crickets. I assumed everything was in order. But no. Yesterday, I got an email saying that my account was limited. Limited meant that they have blocked all my cards and I have no access to the around $300 I had on one of them. I checked status and found first "No open requirements" under papers and under History, I saw that my papers from March 20 were still "Under review." So they do nothing for 14 days, then limit my account and block my fonds. The only reason why I give them two stars instead of one is that when they work, they are okay. But don't trust them enough to keep money on your card ever. I knew that others have had problems with them. My son... they gave him an account but when the first money arrived (which is kind of the purpose of having an account) they blocked them. My friend Lee wanted a business account. First it took her forever to be allowed to get one. Then when she had it, they told her that they didn't like her kind of business (making courses) and blocked her account. So I should have been warned. I'm the only one to blame for letting them keep my money and not transferring them away immediately. Hopefully, my review will help others see the risk. UPDATE: Payoneer, thank you for your reply. Maybe you need better employees, then. The document I provided you with March 20 is STILL "under review" now 18 days later. And my cards are still blocked. This is horrible service. UDPDATE 2: Taking this down to 1 star if I can. This is getting worse. Now, somebody has viewed the copy of my ID card and they ask me for more papers, among those Proof of name change What the...??? I have not changed my name. Can you make this more crazy in any way? UPDATE 3: Today is April 18. Tomorrow, it's been 30 days since I provided the papers Payoneer asked for. The same paper they have previously approved, because it's my proof of ID. They rejected it for "change of name" - which I haven't done. I provided the new proof they asked for April 7. It's still under review now 11 days later. I want MY money! Now! But Payoneer takes this to a whole new level. All you bad service people out there? Oh my goodness. You're amateurs compared to the staff at Payoneer. Latest update: One of my documents weren't accepted because "it was unreable." They told me so in an email with a button that claims it leads to their verification center. It doesn't. And there are no visible links to said verification center from inside Payoneer's dashboard. After messing around for a long time, I found a bookmark in my browser. Good. So yes, there it was, the culprit. Rejected. But no requested documents. No way to give them a new document and MY money are still blocked. I can't even see how much I have on MY cards. This has been going on now for a month. And there is no end in sight. I'm going to share this review on other sites as well, and I've already shared on Facebook. When they did, they said that "an investigation was under progress to find out what happened" and that I should hear back from them within 2 days. IT'S BEEN 3 MONTHS!!! So now they kicked me out of my account, completely ignoring my case. Dear Payoneer, if I paid you fees for all these years, it's for you to at least make sure my funds were safe. To sum up, I was gonna get $50 for an item sold, but ended up with only $18 in my account. In the end, customer support did help me get the remainder of the money, but it was hard to find the contact us page. Ultimately, obscure interface cost me $30.
