**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like Payhawk's good interface which makes it easy to use. I also appreciate the fast and friendly customer support. The feature I value the most is the intuitive interface that allows me to easily request a digital credit card with a custom balance, making managing expenses within my company straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I liked everything so far, if I had to point out something would be the part of having to install their mobile app to complete my registration since I only use it on web. I understand the security measures around it, but using Google Authenticator could be enough instead of the whole app.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Payhawk to manage my company expenses easily with its simple interface and ability to request a digital credit card with a custom balance.

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I find Payhawk incredibly easy to use, which really streamlines our monthly closing process. I appreciate that it allows us to manage spending and expenses for multiple entities in one integrated tool, rather than juggling several different ones. The accounting integrations, like Xero and Datev, are a huge benefit for operating across different countries, and it's great that we can use different currencies within Payhawk. Additionally, all employees can use it, which makes things much simpler for us.

Provision handling and contract & subscription management could be improved or included.

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like that employees are responsible for submitting their own documents. If they don’t submit them, the card can be blocked, which helps ensure everything is provided.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I’d love for it to integrate with my accounting programme, so I don’t have to download documents and then upload them into the programme again. Also I think an option is missing, when someone sends a document for approval and approver should be a different person, that it could be easier to edit this rather than send it back.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently I love the invoice fetching idea. I think it'll save so much time.

On the accounting integration, we completely understand the frustration of having to download and re-upload documents. While it is true that integrating with every accounting system out there is a challenge, we do have native integrations with major accounting software and ERPs. On the approver reassignment, thank you for raising this. Currently, Payhawk supports flexible approval workflows where you can assign specific employees, managers, or role-based approvers, and reassignment happens automatically when an approver is linked to a role. However, we hear you that editing the approver mid-flow without having to send the expense back could be a lot smoother, and we have noted this as valuable feedback for our product team.

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like that Payhawk runs across entities and countries, providing a one-stop shop for all my expenses. I enjoy the service, especially the AI agents for quick questions and the real person support for deep dives and onboarding. It's great to have a clear overview of all my costs without having to log into six different platforms. The initial setup from Payhawk's side was easy, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

On the mobile app, I have to switch between my 6 entities all the time. I would prefer, similar to the web portal, easier access to a button to switch between entities or just one overview in the dashboard where I can see all my entities in the app. Also, although the setup from Payhawk's side was easy, the KYC process took a long time.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk manages our expenses across multiple countries, helping with administrative problems by automating manual expense processing. It also provides a clear, unified overview of costs, eliminating the need to log into different platforms.

It has a nice UI and a lot of potential. At times, it still feels like some functionality is missing; however, the team is very appreciative of feedback, and I’ve already seen several of our ideas implemented.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

It’s simple and efficient, which is inherently great, but it also forces us to bend some of our internal rules and processes a bit. Delegating or reviewing invoices can sometimes be hard to step into and adjust when we need to tweak something. We have a fairly complex organization with multiple verticals and business units, and we’re struggling a little to define the best approval logic.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spend management that provides a complete, company-wide view of spending, including (but not limited to) card spend, reimbursements, and “normal” bills and requests. It also includes efficient payment methods.

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

The software is easy to use and intuitive, with a clear layout. It offers various modules and options that allow you to customise the process flow and the fields you use. I also appreciate the ongoing improvements and the addition of new features to the software. We use Payhawk daily as our main P2P system. Customer support is prompt and useful.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

There is no option to initiate transfers to bank accounts in the USA, which is a significant limitation for me. I understand this is something the company is looking into.

When it comes to invoice management, making payments to suppliers is straightforward and efficient. Accessing our invoices and receipts is also convenient, and the search function works very well. We make use of Payhawk data, along with our custom fields, to allocate expenses to various budget codes and funding sources. For expense management, the process is simple for both employees and approvers, which also helps save time for administrators responsible for consolidating payments.

Payhawk is easy to set up, manage and for my team to use for all company expenses. The online customer support is immediate, and with my very busy role, this is vital. My team can easily upload receipts via the app and submit expenses with ease. We all use this daily, and my Bookeeper can also access to manage our VAT returns.

At times, I find that my expenses get stuck in the REVIEW cycle, which can be frustrating. However, I appreciate that I can use the online chat feature to reach out for help when this happens.

Payhawk is extremely user-friendly and integrates seamlessly with our M3 system, making the process of reporting daily expenses both straightforward and efficient. The interface is easy to navigate, and the automation features significantly reduce the amount of manual work required. We rely on it regularly throughout the company, and the platform has consistently demonstrated stability and reliability in our daily operations.

The approval workflow tends to be somewhat rigid, and I find that certain features are not as intuitive as I would expect.

I love that Payhawk is very intuitive and has a very low barrier to use. I also like that they rolled out agents that further lower the barrier for employees by enabling a Slack integration. That's what I like most about Payhawk.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I think when new features are rolled out, the interface or the platform from an admin perspective isn't made very well. Also, when purchasing additional features we experienced some issues. For example requests weren't set up correctly initially. Budgets were not enabled even though we purchased it, so we had to reach out to Payhawk again. It felt a bit unprofessional.

Payhawk is our go-to for accounts payable management, i.e. handling invoices, reimbursements, and credit card management. It centralizes requests and facilitates transparent approvals with clear workflows. It offers real-time budget awareness and flexibility, unifying many functions into one platform.

Earlier we used to book invoices on Xero so the process was very manual I had to search the supplier and then go to that suppliers ledger copy the bill and make the edits on my own and only then I could submit it but after using Payhawk everything gets auto fetched it even suggests me open P.Os. I can also extract the reports of the number of invoices that are unapproved. Overall it has reduced the need to do things manually and has saved a lot of my time

I like Payhawk because it's quite easy to use, with real-time visibility on expenses and vendor bills. The functionality is enough for us, and it makes the reconciliation process with our accounting system really streamlined, especially beneficial when using NetSuite. Another great feature is the compliance tools for mileage and per diems across multiple countries. Also, their support team is really good, offering great assistance during our onboarding process, which ensures we utilize all the features efficiently.

I like that Payhawk is practical and easy to use. It is very versatile because it gathers all the information and allows me to generate a large number of reports based on the captured information, which makes my work easier and helps me have accurate data without much effort. The filters allow me to obtain specific information in a fraction of a second. Additionally, although it was a bit complicated at first, the initial setup turned out to be very easy and intuitive.

The quality of the photos when set to image enhancement mode looks very pixelated and some areas cannot be distinguished.

I like that Payhawk is very practical. I find it practical and intuitive, it is immediate and provides you with a report of everything you have entered and what has been reimbursed to you. I also like that there is an application and that it can be used from the computer as well.

THAT I DON'T SEE THE FILTER TO IDENTIFY THE EXPENSES ALREADY REIMBURSED

I use Payhawk because it is practical and easy to use. It gives me an immediate report of all expenses entered and reimbursed. Additionally, there is the application that I can use both on the computer and on the phone.

Regarding filtering reimbursed expenses: as an admin or accountant, you can absolutely do this! Here's how:

1. Go to **Expenses** in the Payhawk web portal
2. Click **+ Add filter**
3. Set the expense **Type** to *Reimbursement* and the **Status** to *Paid*

This will show you all reimbursed expenses at a glance. You can even save this as a view for quick access in the future — so you won't have to re-apply the filters each time.

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like that everything in Payhawk is in real time, allowing us to make changes to cardholders faster. It really reduces our admin time for setting up or canceling cards and gives us more control. Plus, the initial setup was very easy for our team.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I'm frustrated that when we have a transaction we wish to query, we are unable to get much help from Payhawk. They always refer us back to the vendor.

Payhawk means we get more receipts and can see things quicker. Everything is in real-time, allowing us to make changes to cardholders quickly, reducing admin time for setting up or canceling cards and allowing us to be more in control.

It has a new feature which auto chaser all the employees who are yet to submit the receipts for their expenses, so manual chasing are gone

Backdated entries that were previously reconciled are now appearing as unreconciled, causing redundant work.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk has eliminated the need for manual expense approvals and card for everyone which removes the hassle of reimbursements for business expenses. It centralizes everything in one place with real-time visibility, making it easy to control spending across teams and departments. The AI suggestions for categorizing expenses and account codes and the integration with tools like Xero, Hibob and Just works save us a lot of time and reduce errors. Overall, it’s made our financial workflows faster, more accurate, and much easier to manage on a daily basis.

Payhawk gives me the tools and the control to create spending solutions instantaneously. Our business is reliant on frequent travel and flexible spending. As the finance responsible in our firm, I'm equipped to make sure that every traveler and every spender has what they need. Our employees have greatly improved receipt tracking since implementing Payhawk, and the direct integration with our accounting system saves us unquantifiable time, energy, and money. Payhawk grants me the tools and the time that I need to think strategically and analyze our spending and plan for the future. It has become a critical part of our day-to-day operations.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

We derive most of the value from Payhawk as a card spending tool and not as a full AP solution. As a Belgian company, we are required to use a Peppol compliant invoicing system and have adopted another system that we use for AP instead of Payhawk. Payhawk is a great tool for select activities, but not a one-size-fits-all solution for everything related to spending and invoicing.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payhawk streamlines the receipt tracking process for our cardholders and saves me significant time that I would otherwise spend chasing receipts and manually coding transactions in our accounting system, thanks to the automatic integration. Payhawk also allows me to act as a controller for all of our cards. I can easily add funds to our account, open new cards instantaneously for cardholders, freeze cards when necessary, and adjust spending limits for each card.

Payhawk has significantly streamlined expense tracking, from the moment an expense is created all the way through to payment. The processes for invoice approval and payment are now much simpler and are handled directly within the platform, unlike previous tools we used. The accounting team has everything centralized in one place, which has made the work of finance, accounting, project teams, and controlling much more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

The only issue we’ve encountered with Payhawk so far are occasional errors when submitting invoices, but the Payhawk Support team is always responsive and resolves problems as quickly as possible. Additionally, some functionalities we require — such as partial invoice payments and grouped payments with credit note deductions — are not yet available, but the Payhawk team is actively working on implementing these features in the near future.

*   Second attachment visibility: Payhawk does support uploading multiple files to your expenses through the web portal, mobile app, and Mailbox. It's recommended to use PDF for documents and PNG for images for best compatibility across all channels. If you experienced an issue where a second attachment wasn't visible, it might be related to how the expense was split or a display anomaly.
*   Total sum owed to your organization: For Group Administrators, the Group dashboard provides a clear overview of expenses. The "Expenses due" tab specifically displays the total amount of reviewed unpaid bills and reimbursable expenses that are due before the current date. This functionality allows you to see the sum of money owed to your organization, such as outstanding reimbursements.

I find that the filters are a bit confusing and could be clearer. Also, it is preferable that they always appear in Spanish. Arrogant salespeople. Promises are made but not kept. Shady pricing and questionable commercial practices. My account was blocked without any explanation, and it took days to resolve. If you’re a business trying to rely on Payhawk, I’d look for something else.

We use PayHawk to provide credit cards to employees who are traveling and to pay for software subscriptions online. The tool makes it much easier to reconcile receipts for these expenses with the corresponding payments.

I really appreciate Payhawk’s capabilities for live and timely tracking of budgets utilizations, including committed costs. This is enhanced by its very useful visualizations, such as charts, 'spent by' filters, and tracking of sub-budgets options, which make data more readable and accessible to stakeholders, particularly those who are not finance experts. Additionally, the option to update budgets by uploading new versions is especially beneficial given our use of flexible budgets. Payhawk automates what was previously a cumbersome and error-prone process we had to manage manually in Excel. This automation optimizes our finance function significantly. Moreover, the process of setting up Payhawk, although initially time-consuming, was facilitated smoothly by the implementation manager, leading to satisfying results.

I dislike the lack of notifications for budget deviations above certain thresholds. I love how Payhawk seamlessly integrates with Netsuite, our accounting software, which automates the posting of invoices, expenses, and the matching of payments. The platform’s capability to automate workflows for invoice and staff expense approvals drastically enhances efficiency compared to our previous manual processes. I find the customizable workflows particularly beneficial as they offer the necessary flexibility to adapt to our business’s global and flat structure, accommodating the extensive crossover among different staff members and departments. The optical character recognition feature is a significant time-saver, efficiently processing invoice or receipt information without manual entry. These features together make Payhawk extremely valuable by simplifying and accelerating our financial operations.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

I find it challenging that Payhawk only allows viewing expenses and invoices in the paid and base currencies, limiting my ability to view them in different currencies as per my choice. It would be more practical for managing global finances if this feature was more flexible. Additionally, creating expense reports that could be submitted to a single approver would streamline approvals, instead of requiring approvers to evaluate single line items. This process complicates expense management when dealing with a large volume of expenses. It's worth noting, though, that Payhawk continuously updates to improve the platform, and part of this issue is being worked on. Moreover, the initial setup was somewhat hindered by the time-consuming credit checks, especially when dealing with the loading of overseas entities.

I like Payhawk's approval process and its ability to create approvals per project. It really helps with the granularity in the analysis of costs and allows me to see if the amounts are within budgets. I also find the initial setup to be easy.

The reporting and reconciliation side of things. It's really hard to reconcile. You would think the report will show spend only and how that affects cash at the end of the period, but there are so many different aspects such as Pending, submitted and approved - And also timing differences.

Payhawk is incredibly intuitive and backed by advanced technology. I really appreciate how it streamlines the expense submission process while automatically capturing all the essential information. The customer support is always easy to reach and very helpful whenever any issues arise. I use Payhawk every day to manage invoices from external vendors and transactions through my Payhawk digital Card, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. It’s also very reliable and almost never experiences downtime.

There’s really not much to dislike about Payhawk, but if I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the mobile app. While it works well, it feels a bit more limited compared to the desktop version.

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

I like how easy the integration with Xero is to allow for easier bank reconciliations. Another feature that sold the software to me was the amount of control over usage and the ability to add personalised rules and budgets to each card holder. This makes it easier to run the business smoothly by limiting junior members of staffs usage, whilst allowing a higher spending limit for senior management. The customer support is very good as there is a live chat function where you can easily get help without having to sit on the phone for ages. Implementation was very easy as we were guided by a implementation manager in a video call.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

Although I am sure this is for security purposes, it is quite tedious to pay invoices as they must be approved on the app. This notification does not always show up which makes it difficult to pay them easily.

**What problems is Payhawk solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A major problem we had was monitoring employee spending as each person had a different spend limit per week. Payhawk solves this problem by allowing us to add spendature limits on cards for each employee - blocking them from spending any higher. Another issue we had was employees not adding their receipts, which was causing VAT claim issues, however we can again limit the amount of no receipt expenses before the employees card is blocked - thus encouraging them to add receipts immediately.

I love the ease of uploading expenses, categorizing them, and reading invoices, which makes the process very comfortable and fast. Additionally, the support team is very helpful, which is a great support. The initial setup of Payhawk was also very easy, which I really appreciate.

The reports we download sometimes take a while to download, and some last-minute changes do not appear when downloading a new report.

**What do you like best about Payhawk?**

This system has been outstanding for managing our company payments. It has significantly cut down the time we spend on employee expense reports, thanks to its user-friendly interface. Our accounting department now enjoys much greater control over expenses, and the management of reimbursements is both fast and efficient. The implementation service has also been excellent, with prompt and patient support throughout the process, making the transition very smooth. We now rely on it daily and are in the process of replacing our old cards with Payhawk cards. Additionally, the system offers numerous integrations, which makes syncing with our ERP system almost effortless.

**What do you dislike about Payhawk?**

We would appreciate having more options for customized approval circuits. Additionally, it would be helpful if the data updated automatically without requiring a browser refresh. There is a minor issue in that the system is designed for both PC and mobile use, but when rolling out the app to staff members who do not have access to a PC, the implementation process has taken longer than we anticipated.

Payhawk has significantly saved our team time by streamlining the way we handle expenses, reimbursements, and company cards. The process is now much faster, more transparent, and far easier to manage. Previously, we wasted considerable time tracking down receipts, reconciling transactions, and manually checking expense reports. With Payhawk, everything is centralized and automated, freeing us up to concentrate on more important tasks rather than administrative duties. Overall, it has truly enhanced our efficiency and improved financial visibility throughout the company.
