What do you like best about Paycom?

What do you like best about Paycom?

I love the reporting and analytics features the most, as they provide clear insights into payroll trends, employee hours, and other HR metrics. This helps me make informed decisions quickly. The system keeps tax filings, employee updates, and payroll approvals structured and traceable, helping reduce compliance stress by offering everything in one reliable platform. I also appreciate that Paycom saves time and reduces manual follow-ups by handling payroll, tracking employee data, and staying on top of compliance tasks all in one place. What do you dislike about Paycom?

Occasionally, navigating between different modules feels a bit clunky, and it takes extra clicks to access certain features. A helpful change would be implementing a better search function within the platform that can quickly locate employees, reports, or settings across all modules, instead of navigating step by step. "Streamlined Payroll and HR Management, Minor Navigation Hurdles"
What do you like best about Paycom?

I use Paycom to handle payroll, track employee hours, and manage HR tasks all in one place, making things like benefits and tax filings much easier. It saves time and keeps everything organized and simple to access. Paycom takes the stress out of managing payroll and HR, automating tracking, taxes, and benefits, reducing mistakes, and keeping all employee information organized. What I like most about Paycom is how easy and all-in-one it feels. Payroll runs smoothly, employees can manage their own info, and the clear reports make HR tasks much simpler and less stressful. Setup of Paycom was pretty straightforward, and with clear instructions and guidance, I was able to get payroll, employee profiles, and HR processes up and running quickly, making it easy to start managing everything efficiently from day one. I’d give Paycom a 9 out of 10. It’s easy to use, makes payroll and HR tasks much simpler, and keeps everything organized, so I’d definitely recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

What do you like best about Paycom?

it can be tricky for people who need to log in the instant they are at work, as if you are too far from the building you cannot log on to report that you have arrived, but once you are there your day may begin quickly. It can also be frustrating to add or change information that is past the time/date when it should have been added if you forget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paycom?

The best thing that I like about Paycom is that I receive messages that alert me to any notifications such as time card approvals, messages with administrative, time off requests, and so on. What do you dislike about Paycom?

Honestly, I have found anything tho I dislike about Paycom. The only thing that I would suggest is to make messaging a bit easier. It was a tad difficult to start a new message because the option of my question type was not there. If that makes sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paycom?

I find Paycom to be a pretty intuitive program and appreciate that it's organized. It's super helpful for me, especially since I need to use it all day every day. Being able to click around and find what I need is unbelievable. Staying organized within the organization is crucial, and Paycom helps me know where people's files and details are, so I can quickly find what I need when asked questions. I use Paycom for payroll and timekeeping, but it’s especially useful for organizing less common HR processes like off-cycle bonuses and custom compliance records. Paycom helps prevent delays and miscommunications by automating approvals and ensuring updates flow directly into payroll without extra steps. What stands out most is how much time it saves by letting employees update their own info while keeping the system accurate and consistent. It’s valuable because employees can correct or update their own details instantly, which keeps payroll and HR records accurate without HR chasing minor changes. What do you like best about Paycom?

Everything you need in one place when it comes to clocking in/out, your schedule, your PTO, Training, everything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Paycom?

During lunch clock in, you must clock at the exact second, which you could miss if you get distracted and thwm you'll show you were out to lunch longer than you actually were. My fix to that, is I have to set an alarm. But, I still have to wait everytime for that exact second. Clock out at 12:30:30, and try to punch in at exactly 13:00:00, the system will not allow it. What do you like best about Paycom?

I use Paycom as our all-in-one HR and payroll software. I love how Paycom brings payroll, HR, time tracking, benefits, onboarding, performance management, and reporting into one unified platform. Data only needs to be entered once, keeping everything in sync and eliminating the need to juggle separate systems or deal with inconsistent information. A standout is the automation which saves time by making payroll processes themselves based on approved timecards, and automates HR tasks like onboarding and benefits enrollment. Paycom's employee self-service feature is also great, allowing employees to update their own information, reducing HR inquiries, and increasing employee satisfaction. The real-time reporting and insights Paycom provides are invaluable as they make it easy to access meaningful information quickly, supporting better decision-making. I also appreciate the built-in compliance support, that reduces risk by tracking changes automatically. Overall, what I like most about Paycom is how it simplifies and centralizes what used to be time-consuming, repetitive administrative work into efficient, automated processes, providing intuitive access to information for both managers and employees. What do you dislike about Paycom?

While Paycom offers strong features and a powerful platform, there are several areas that don’t always work as smoothly as expected. The steep learning curve makes it complex, with new users often finding the interface overwhelming at first. Many modules and settings can be confusing without thorough training, and some tasks require multiple steps that aren’t always intuitive. It can take time for HR teams and employees to feel fully comfortable using the platform, especially during initial rollout. Implementation and onboarding challenges could improve, as getting Paycom set up properly can be more difficult than anticipated. The implementation process can feel rushed, and data migration from previous systems isn’t always seamless. A rocky implementation can delay realizing the full benefits of the system and require additional cleanup after launch. The customer support experience could be better, with support quality sometimes being inconsistent. Some users report slow response times, and getting complex issues resolved may require multiple follow-ups. Delays in support can be stressful, especially when problems arise with payroll.
