## Passpack Reviews
 ### 1. Easy Password Management with a Handy Generator and Security Ratings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rudi D. | Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

It's very easy to add and categorise the login details for all of my accounts. The PW generator is really useful and I now use this for all new account setups. I also like the secutiry rating it gives each PW that I enter, which has now prompted me to update some of my weak PWs.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Adding labels is a bit tricky, as you have to create a new label in the label section, rather than being able to create these when saving a new login/PW.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a great way to securely store all my account login credentials and share these with team members that need access. I can also decide on the privacy level of each account login that I share, in terms of which other team members to share this with. Much better than saving everything in a sheet.

**Official Response from Keith Dowding:**

> Hello Rudi,
We're glad to hear that you find Passpack easy to use and that the password generator and security ratings are helpful for you. We appreciate your feedback about the label creation process and will take it into consideration for future improvements.
Best regards,
Peter

 ### 2. Highly Secure Password Management, Needs UI Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay T. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

I use Passpack to manage passwords and credentials in my organization, and I like its way of managing and storing password security. It uses zero architecture and encryption, which makes it much more secure compared to other password managers. This brings trust toward the product, as passwords are very critical information and their security matters more than anything else. Also, the initial setup was relatively quick.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

I think the user interface could have been better. No need to have fancy UI but can be improved.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Passpack to centralize all credentials with user access management and appreciate its security features like zero architecture and encryption. It brings trust as passwords are critical, making it more secure than our previous tool, Zoho Vault.

**Official Response from Keith Dowding:**

> Hello Jay,
It's terrific to have the feedback, we built our product on security as a founding principle while not being a friction point in productive collaboration. I am also please to share we have just released a major update to the UI/UX that is receiving very positive feedback.
Best regards,
Keith

 ### 3. Secure storage your passwords

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sasha S. | Finance Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Easy to share with other users. Ability to quickly access the stored website by clicking on the stored URL from the password entry. Ability to keep notes for any record.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

It takes awhile to open up your account and load the passwords (sometimes several minutes).
If you forgot you Security phrase you can not reset your Password.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sharing various passwords between multiple users and groups.

**Official Response from Keith Dowding:**

> Hi Sasha, thank you for your feedback. Apologies for the delayed response, for some reason this has only appeared in our account. We have built the product from ground up as being easy and efficient to team share credentials. On the loading issue we have not seen that and we test this regularly. If you are still seeig an issue please let us know at support@passpack.com.
Best regards,
George

 ### 4. Very complete feature set for password sharing in a group and excellent value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Non-Profit Organization Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

The user interface is easy to use, and the group system is very powerful. Great for an organization that needs to share passwords with various privileges.
Best price among the competition.
Customer support is very responsive.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Web site is not very pretty but frankly this is a detail :-)

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My problem as an administrator was sharing password to people in our organization in a selective manner

**Official Response from Keith Dowding:**

> Hi There,
We're glad to hear that you find Passpack's feature set and value to be excellent. We appreciate your feedback on the user interface and group system. We have just released a major update to the website design, and we're continuously working to improve it.
Best regards,
Peter

 ### 5. They just keep charging me!!!!

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Franklin M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

It's average at best, only reason I used them was the pricepoint.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

I cancelled their service over 2 years ago, and they keep on billing me. This despite contacing their customer service several times to clear this up and multiple reassurances that this won't keep happening, it just keeps happening over and over again. Just that in itself I can't recommend them. They are just stealing from me year on year, and hope that I don't catch it. It's an average product with below average customer service. When I did use them they were slow, and not much CS to speak of.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing and sharing passswords.

 ### 6. Security and Trust Delivered

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frances C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

I run an accounting services business serving over fifty clients, and we must keep track of numerous passwords - not just ours but those of our clients. Given the nature of our work, access management and control of client information is critical to the integrity of our business. Passpack provides security and trust, enabling my staff to complete work securely and efficiently. Being able to segment my employees into specific Teams according to client responsibilities is a significant benefit. Customer support is super helpful.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The user interface takes some time, but we understand this is being actively improved.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing client passwords in a secure application and sharing within my team.

 ### 7. Successful Use of Passpack in a Multi-user Environment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marc C. | Board Member, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2023

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Passpack is very easy to use, to share passwords with teams, and years of experience have proven the application to be secure. Also, when a team member is terminated, a one step process terminates the member for access to the passwords.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Due to the level of security, it is a little tricky to add new users, but once you are set up, it is a breeze.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Securely and efficiently sharing passwords with teams.

 ### 8. Very strong software at good price point

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bryan L. | Director of Business Development, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

It has all the features that I need in a password manager but at the best price that I could find. They recently made a major upgrade, which is always a positive. Organization and note tools are strong.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

I haven't found anything to dislike as of yet.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cost is very competitive. The performance is solid and reliable.

 ### 9. Passpack user

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 16, 2022

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

I liked that you easily were able to export passwords. We had to migrate to a different system and it made it easy.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

It was hard to remember the master password-wasn't an easy way to get back in to your account

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

Make it easier to log back in if you get locked out of your account. Also, when passpack upgraded their services they didn't make it easy to get all of your passwords, you had to do a whole export and it was complicated for us to do. You also could only export in batches from what I remember. We don't use it anymore, we use bitwarden.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helped with storing accounts for multiple users in our company

 ### 10. Passpack is a convenient way to keep track of all your critical account logins

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gautham P. | Director of Strategic Alliances, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Convenience, easy access, secure storage

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The multi-step login process which makes it secure can also become inconvenient when in a rush

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of accounts, logins, passwords easily

 ### 11. Works well but not very user friendly

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vykintas G. | Head of Customer Success, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

It's safe and reliable. Quite easy to log in and find passwords IF you have these password already shared with you. It generates really complex passwords that would be hard to guess which adds up to the reliability of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

I don't like that it's difficult to find out about the platforms you don't have shared with you, however, you'd actually benefit from getting the passwords to be able to use those platforms for your work. Also, it often happens that administrators don't share some platforms with you that you actually need (e.g. processes were not updated or your role changed) and then it's a hustle to get the passwords you need shared with you - you need to contact administrators directly and wait.... which is definitely not the best user experience. I feel Passpack should work on collaboration features - for users to be able to find platforms that are not shared with them and then request for passwords with a single click. This would make the overall experience much better. I believe that these UX issues may be one of the reasons that, even though we use Passpack throughout the entire company, quite a lot of employees actually don't log in to their Passpack accounts and rely on other colleagues to help with passwords.

I also noticed that Passpack didn't change at all in the last 4 years which may signal that the company is stagnating and fails to innovate and improve on the UI & UX.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

Seriously consider all options in the market. Passpack is ok but they lag behind in terms of user experience for collaboration (read my review). They're also stagnating and not innovating or improving their UI or UX for years... which is not a very good sign. However, it kinda does the job so I wouldn't say that you shouldn't use this software. It's an option for sure.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Password storage and sharing, secure password generation

 ### 12. The most important software we use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cassie D. | Marketing Coordinator, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Passpack is used daily in my organisation. Servicing multiple clients each with encryption needs, we feel secure in using Passpack every day.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

I have no complaints with this service. If I were to work for another organisation, Passpack is the one tool I would require to be on board.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

If there is one software you need to manage efficiency and effectiveness of staff working on multiple platforms, this is it.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ever lost a password and had to go through the pesky process of resetting your password? Had a staff member leave and weren't sure what passwords they had access to? Or had all the log ins but not sure what site they belong to? Passpack takes care of all it. No longer do we have to remember complex series of passwords - just one password and one packing key.

 ### 13. Passpack review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey B. | Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 09, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

For an online password management solution it is hard to beat passpack. It is super easy to use, easy to add notes, and easy to copy passwords without even having to view the password. We have a lot of very critical info in there and I feel safe and secure using it everyday

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Not much to say here, we really like it. My biggest complaint would be the mobile aspect of it, its a bit cumbersome, and might be better in an app format. Lots of pinching to zoom overall. But i rarely use it on my phone

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

Do it, price and ease of use cannot be beat. We researched a ton of options and this was hands down the best solution we tried at the pricepoint. At the end of last year our company talked about "wins" of the year, one of them was upgrading to passpack, its that rad.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having an easily accessible password solution online in the cloud. We had been using some inferior software that we had to run locally on our server, then VPN to it if we were remote, it was slow clunky & you could only update the DB from the PC app and read only on osx.

 ### 14. Excellent password storage app for all

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Seema Y. | Technology Lead, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 25, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Passpack offers a secure way to store username and password without having the fear of forgetting them. It is designed only for web-based system, so any device which is able to connect to internet can use it. The best thing I like about Passpack is that it works on Windows as well as Mac Operating System, and is also supported on iPhone, iPad, Android SmartPhone.
It offers 3 level of security system, and you have the option to set priority for every information you want to save. The most secured level will be a little slower in authentication but provides the best security for your passwords.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

I feel Passpack is a very simple to use application, but although it lacks some features such as you need to enter the websites manually with Passpack. This can be improved by providing a browser plugin to the users which can automatically add the websites upon login.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

I would surely recommend it to all the IT Professionals who wants to keep their passwords in a secure place. All the credentials gets encrypted on Passpack servers, even if someone hacks into the server, your login information would not be readable.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Passpack as it has got excellent collaborative features which allows me to share my safe and secure login methods with my family members as well as coworkers instantly.
Another feature which I like about Passpack is that it saves my information when I log in to the protected sites without manually entering the credentials again.

 ### 15. Strong and well featured password manager – could improve on design

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amos J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 16, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Passpack is lightweight and quick to use. With no flashy design elements or animations, the product puts passwords front and centre. The security features are quite appealing – the packing code, custom greeting and box clicking all add to increase security against malicious parties and automated attacks. However, for convenience, many of these features can be disabled. As well as that, the ability to securely share passwords and messages with other users is greatly appreciated. Another good feature is the ability to copy passwords without viewing them, improving security further. Passpack also offers an offline version for computers, allowing you to view and edit password information without an internet connection. This is very useful, especially if you use the software for more than web passwords.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The design is somewhat uninspiring. The front page of the website was recently updated and redesigned but the backend (i.e. the actual application) still maintains its old design. The software is also somewhat limited in terms of sharing and number of passwords unless you upgrade to the paid versions. Another significant problem is the lack of native applications, which become more and more essential as computing moves from desktops to more portable devices.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

The product does not have mobile apps, which is problematic in this age of portable devices. If you use many smartphones or tablets, you may want to find another product. It does, however, have a mobile website, which some would consider to be more useful than a native application. Unfortunately this does not allow offline usage.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving the problem of maintaining security across websites without having to remember many long passwords.

 ### 16. Not the best SSO but does the job.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Very very secure. Able to share passwords easily amongst global team members.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Because it's so secure can be difficult to log back into when you don't use it on a daily basis.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

If you have a global team it's a great product. If you're looking for ease of use go somewhere else.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Password security into business critical applications. All passwords from global team in one place, so saves some time.

 ### 17. Passpack is an amazing business tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael H. | Senior Support Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Easy sharing of client information in a secure fashion across the team, with options for sharing to only a specific group, Easy access to login to entries using the "1-click login" feature.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The lack of customization for login. Some of our partners use multiple fields for login instead of just the standard username/password combination. The ability to set these up to work with passpack would be incredible.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

Fantastic tool for password storage. I've used a few other targeted at personal password management and none of them compare.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work with clients ecommerce and email marketing platforms, and so maintaining all those logins across an ever growing team would be much harder without passpack. Whether its the client success manager or someone in tech, gaining access to needed information is super simple.

 ### 18. We use passpack to securely store thousands of our client passwords.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Duncan M. | Managing Partner, Director of Advertising, Marketing and Advertising, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

The ability to send specific passwords to staff. To store passwords securely. That I can load my own personal passwords that only I can see. The ability to add additional details beyond passwords for FTP information or even context for updates. The ability to customize the look.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

That the site often has glitches when it comes to transferring ownership. IT would be nice to be able to share passwords at mass versus individually.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

This is a very solid and secure platform to help you manage all your passwords. Highly recommended that you setup a naming culture that you follow and are diligent with editing passwords.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Security has greatly improved and the fact that multiple people can edit and update the passwords, which is universal to accounts is a bonus.

 ### 19. Sysadmin rolled out, company revolted

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John F. | Sales Manager, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

It worked, was in browser, secured stuff, did what it was supposed to do, I guess.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Our whole company revolted against Passpack. The admin installed it and mandated everyone use it. He gave a few training sessions and talked a lot about how great it was compared to the others. We found it extremely klunky, sharing was a pain, and (it was a few years ago so forgive me if I'm misremembering) it required two passwords to authenticate that drove everyone nuts.. a password and a very long pass phrase I think. Anyways, we all hated it and after a few months the admin gave in and switched to LastPass which we still use.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

Test it out first, if it works and you like it, great, but try others to do a full evaluation. If you're the admin, get users to try it too, not just you, and not just experienced tech-savvy users.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize password management, sharing passwords, get rid of passwords on sticky notes!

 ### 20. Passpack does EXACTLY what I need it to

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

As far as password management systems go, I've used them all. Passpack does the simplest job with the most amount of security. I am able to easily edit login credentials without a problem and share passwords with my team with a click of a button.

Passpack prides itself on security and I can see why - there's been zero issues and it's become a mainstay for sharing and managing passwords at our agency. Would highly recommend the service.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The extra levels of security do get a bit much sometimes but I can see why. Generally, passpack is a great service more managing and sharing credentials

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

If you're looking for a secure simple way to manage your client and inter credentials passpack is the way to go. Simple, easy to use interface with complete sharable control of the credentials you need to manage. Would highly recommend.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Password management and sharing has become a breeze. My co-workers can easily get the login credentials they're looking for without any hassle

 ### 21. Passpack is solid and super secure

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James K. | Solutions Architect, Telecommunications, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Our use case was managing access to corporate credentials and Passpack met the call of being super secure -- which was really the only criteria from a corporate perspective. The UI is minimal and makes it easy enough to find what is needed.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The flip side of Passpack's security is that there is no recovery mechanism -- especially for users (like me) that didn't need to access credentials frequently, it was challenging to remember the passwords required to gain access. With no recovery mode, the only option is for the admin to re-provision the user.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

For companies with a tool/product glut and a relatively high rate of hiring and turnover, this is a fantastic way to manage access to corporate credentials. It's easy to provision, easy to be on-boarded and easy to remove access.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The business problem is two fold: 1) Keep corporate credentials as secure as possible and 2) Simplify the provisioning and access control process for admins. Passpack accomplished both goals for us.

 ### 22. Dependable and Secure

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 14, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

I like the security features that Passpack offers. I feel the passwords are very well protected. Also the secure button that allows for one click login is very handy. Passpack loads fast and has an excellent search function.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The sharing feature and the ownership feature can be a bit buggy sometimes. I often have to save a password multiple times to get the settings right. I would also prefer that more search results be on one page, but that is a minor annoyance.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

If you need a quickstart option for managing passwords across a team, go for Passpack.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving a password storage problem in which many people need access to the same passwords and not all individuals need access to the same passwords. Passpack allows our team to create custom access levels and provides a secure method for storing a large amount of passwords.

 ### 23. Knock out of the ballpark!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Keeps company interest at extreme level of security

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Can be difficult to user for a non-technical, first-time user.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ensuring that certain sites and services are accessed by the correct person.

 ### 24. Great way to securely store all your passwords

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fraser C. | National Sales Manager - Industrial, Commercial and OEM Accounts, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Passpack is a great way to store all your passwords in one, secure place. I particularly like the 'Passpack it!' feature, which automatically fills in user name and password fields at the click of a button.

Tagging and search features give quick access to most used login details and the sharing features make it very easy to share login info with your team mates. Great product.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Have only bee using it for 3 months, but I have no problems so far.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease of sharing login credentials across the company

 ### 25. Great password tool for companies handling a lot of passwords and needing to keep them secure.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brad S. | Senior Manager, Client Success, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

The multiple levels of security is what makes passpack a must great tool. It has multiple levels of verification. Being able to auto-generate strong passwords, and the auto login when paired with their extension save a great deal of time.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The search feature for passwords could be better.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working with many different clients, this has enabled me to work across platforms and access many different tools needed around projects effectively and quickly.

 ### 26. Works just how you would expect, interface is a little blah

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 30, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Passpack is easy to use. You enter a username/password, a passphrase, and then click a box; inactivity after 15 mins requires you to enter the passphrase again.

You can easily share a password/username with someone else, and it sends the pieces of information separately and requires you to give them a pin to access it (which you tell them through some other means of communication).

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The design and interface is a little blah. Not huge, but doesn't feel like a slick product as a result.

The auto-logout function does not work if you are currently viewing a password - meaning if you forget, walk away, and get into a conversation, not only will someone be able to view your passwords, you could have one exposed and visible on the screen.

**Recommendations to others considering Passpack:**

Make use of the group functionality; also, make use of the recommender for new passwords.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problem: Team of several users needs access to a shared set of passwords to multiple services/accounts.

Benefits: Less shipping around of sensitive information; easy to add a group of people to share a password.

 ### 27. Very secure software for storing your passcodes!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2016

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

I like that Passpack stores all secret codes and passwords securely. To get into their system, you have to go through multiple levels of authentication, which makes it very secure. This is what I like the most about the Passpack software.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

I dislike that if you forget your secret key to enter in your account, there is no way to recover the account. You will have to create a new account. MAKE SURE YOU WRITE THE SECRET KEY DOWN because there is no way to retrieve it if you forget it.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping and storing passwords in a safe place that is NOT in plain text and not easily accessible by anyone else who is not authorized to do so.

 ### 28. Access from anywhere on any computer without the hassle of a USB. Very secure.

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Triple opt in security. Easy to search through large lists of passwords. Ability to add notes.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

Wish it could be easier to assign multiple owners. I find that if I need the information updated I need to find the original creator of the password.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Needed something more secure then a file that sits on my USB. With Passpack I am able to access my passwords anywhere on any computer without worrying about losing the file because I lost the USB or the USB gets damaged. Easier to keep up to date between multiple people.

**What do you like best about Passpack?**

Ease of use. I need access to a number of passwords and it's always very easy to pull them up quickly.

Sometimes if someone shares as password with me, it doesn't give me any indication of what the password is for (prob. for security reasons)

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It would be nearly impossible to safely store all the passwords needed with an online service like passpack. So there's 2 main benefits - ease of use and security of passwords.

**What do you dislike about Passpack?**

The Packing Key! It's a necessary evil, but when I'm in a rush and I'm fumbling to get in, it always takes a couple stabs to get into Passpack.

**What problems is Passpack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's eliminating the pain of trying to manage all the passwords on my own, which would be remarkably laborious.

Trusted sharing of passwords with a large team.
