What is Passendo?

Passendo is the leading European platform commercialising newsletter inventory. Founded in 2016 by two digital advertising pioneers, our award-winning email ad server and SSP provides value for publishers and advertisers worldwide with over 4000 premium publishing house newsletter inventories across the world. Partnering with some of the world’s largest media publishers, we help them activate new incremental revenues in an existing and untapped media channel, reaching new audiences that unlock new opportunities. Our email ad server reduces manual work by up to 80 percent, helping clients improve and optimise their workflows, booking their own sold campaigns across their own inventory, while continuing to build trust and understanding towards their subscribers. Passendo works with in-email inventory - we make email relevant again for tomorrow’s ad formats. One of the key advantages with this is that the users opt-in to receive newsletters from a specific publisher or brand - they are expecting to hear from them - so are very loyal to them. What do you like best about Passendo?

Passendo is a really easy interface to work with. I can create campaigns and it is easily managed. The reports that are generated are very detailed and break down more than our previous programs. I also like the team I work with. They're really nice, and responsive, and I always get the impression they really want to help me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Passendo?

I don't like how there's a lot of limitations. For example, there's an image size upload limit, an inability to accept html/css for minor customizations, a save target settings, add more filters, to name a few. While there is a workaround to specific problems, it will be great if this can be done directly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Passendo solving and how is that benefiting you?

Passendo has been able to solve targetting and design problems that our team has previously ran into with other programs. The team was willing to go that extra mile to help us really get the layout we wanted. The system also appears to perform better than our previous one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The team is aware of this and is working on it, but the programmatic demand in the US is still not as strong for unused inventory Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Passendo allows us to preset our email deployments and futureproof our ad server for privacy issues and programmatic backfill Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
