What do you like best about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

Pardot is so closely aligned to Salesforce now, making it my top suggestion for organizations who use Salesforce and are looking to improve their marketing and marketing automation tools. Reporting on Campaigns, attribution, and general ROI is easier and more intuitive than any other platforms I've used.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

Pardot features are still primarily B2B, meaning any organization (I work primarily with nonprofits using Pardot) who isn't strictly B2B has to think creatively on how to use the tool best. I'm hoping they will open their feature set up with tools that are more flexible- like SMS or more integrations.

If you're using Salesforce, consider your current Marketing strategy, team, and budget before purchasing Pardot. If you're exhausted your current mass email tool and you are looking for better integration with Salesforce and/or improved reporting, now is probably the right time to be looking at Pardot.

What problems is Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pardot is wonderful for finding the right audience at the right time and targeting them with communication (from emails to sales calls). You can easily segment and report back on your efforts as well- so any organization who is strategic can begin to improve and refine their marketing efforts.

What do you like best about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

We have the ability to create emails, landing pages, and forms all in one place. We have the ability to create engagement campaigns that nurture our leads automatically. It tracks prospect and lead activity in an easy-to-follow format. We are able to see our data in Salesforce as well making it seamless with our sales team.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

Different reporting between a one-off/list email versus engagement campaigns. A little clunky to set up engagement campaigns and picky on how you trigger (e.g. form completion versus landing page completion) - if you get that wrong your campaign won't work properly. Once you get in the groove and know the system this becomes easier.

Nurturing leads through automation.

Understanding our lead activity.

Ability to push leads to our sales team based on triggers or overall activity.

Better tracking and reporting than our previous system - useful data.

A/B testing to see what works best.

We have improved our open and CTOR rates through A/B testing results.

We have improved the look/feel of our content with templates.

Our sales team has more visibility into the lead activity across our tactics, making it easier to understand the needs of the customer.

"Pardot has helped streamline our Marketing Automation"

What do you like best about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

I really enjoy the ease of use when building out engagement flows to help with our sales campaigns. The logic is simple, and it gives you lots of options for how you would like to segment the flow. With the addition of adding multiple conditions to rules, we are able to build out flows that would initially seem very complex, but is broken down into easy steps.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

I wish there were more completion actions when sending out a list email. I tend to have to create an automation rule to get my preferred result, for example, adding to a Salesforce campaign.

There is A LOT that Pardot can do, and we have it set up in a way that works for our organization but there is still probably so much more we could take advantage of. Do your best at understanding all the capabilities, and build out use cases to see how your team could benefit.

What problems is Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement solving and how is that benefiting you?

Being able to automate more communications has freed up a lot of time for both the Marketing and Sales teams. We were also able to implement a lead scoring system to help prioritize leads being sent to the sales team, making them more efficient.

"Pardot is not just a sales tool - it's an effective tool for coaching!"

What do you like best about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

I was using Hubspot before I switched over to Pardot. The best thing about the change was the incredible integration with Google Adwords. It was able to completely integrate with Adwords and helped give advice for better ways to improve.

Lead Deck Pardot's Lead Deck gives you real-time activity updates of prospect's activity. If a prospect visits your services page, you can receive an update on your screen, and send them an email in one-click.

Total visibility over user journeys, simple templating, full customisation and more - Pardot is a software power tool. Drip campaigns are customisable to an extent that I've not fully tapped into, and it syncs so easily with our advertising data.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement?

Limitations within automation rules for mutli-variable updates. For example - Loading a tradeshow list with campaign member statuses in SFDC. I would like to upload in one automation rule to say if X campaign status, update to this campaign in SFDC for X status, within the same rule I would like to add all of the other statuses with specific completion actions instead of having to run 1 rule for each status. Dynamic content should be able to trigger via a URL parameter and not just a known prospect field.

We appreciate the seamless integration of Pardot with Salesforce, especially moving between Salesforce and Pardot, as well as our lead conversion processes at times.

It has been helpful in generating leads via email drip programs and in getting more data on the visitors to our site and their activity there.
