What do you like best about Parchment?

Once our students have created their Parchment accounts it makes it easy for us to go and request transcripts, test scores, and letters of recommendation be sent to colleges. Also, uploading the test scores and letters of recommendation is relatively easy. We can go in and see when the documents were sent to a college/university, employer, etc and most importantly when they were downloaded since it always seems to be our fault when documents don't get there in 10 minutes. We have a history that also saves us because again we can say well College A downloaded on this day so it's there it just may not be uploaded into there system. Parchment is quick to respond if we have an issue. I don't use Parchment everyday but our Registrar is in the system on a daily basis, sometimes multiple times during the day. Since Parchment has expanded the documents we can add to the system that helps. Before we had to find other ways to send test scores and letters of recommendation. Now it's in Parchment. What do you dislike about Parchment?

I haven't encountered anything that isn't helpful. Sometimes I do have difficulty finding a student who I know has created an account in the "History" section but if that's the only issue I have, I'm happy. I just go about it in another way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parchment?

The use of Parchment within out school was super easy to implement. Parchment gave us great customer support when we started and continues to give us great customer service. Anytime we have issues we can email them and they are very responsive to our needs. Our registrar checks Parchment each day and because of how easy Parchment is to use, this only takes a few minutes each day.

Parchment is an amazing service to offer to High School students. The first year we implemented Parchment, we still had students and families calling in June and July to order transcripts. Many times the families would be frusturated because of the vacation schedules of school personnel in June and July. Our families and students have found Parchment very easy to use and they love the ability to use the program. The ease of ordering a transcript to be sent to a school, scholarship opportunity, or NCAA is amazing. Students can do this from the comfort of their computer whether than having to remember to go to the registrar sometime during the school day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parchment?

I have not found a downside to using Parchment. I wish schools in other countries used Parchment so we could get international transcripts more easily for our students moving into our area. However, that is a wish of an administrator and not a fault of Parchment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parchment?

Since our university partnered with Parchment a couple of years ago we have enjoyed a very good relationship as we have worked together to improve service to our students. Colleagues at Parchment have listened to our feedback to add features and improvments to transcript services, and most recently we had a very smooth implementation of the digital badge service for our institution. Our partners at Parchment are always available when we need them, and even when we don't need them for anything in particular they are checking in to make sure everything is going well. What do you dislike about Parchment?

We have not encountered many downsides since beginning with Parchment, but as with any large-scale changes such as switching transcript services to a new vendor there are going to be hiccups. Our initial implementation process was bumpy, but the response from Parchment was swift to not only fix any issues we encountered but to also improve the overall process. What do you like best about Parchment?

Because of Parchment's low-cost services, we are able to provide our current students access to their transcripts at only a cost to the school district and not directly to the student. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parchment?

Often the student does not complete and use their Parchment account because they get "caught" in filling out the account even though they can bypass most of the setup questions. There needs to be a more clear option for a BASIC account.

Also linking to other schools. Our students need to be able to use their already existing high school account to send their CCP transcripts as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parchment?

Partnering with Parchment to provide electronic transcripts and digital and paper diplomas, and certificates has allowed our institution to continue to offer exceptional service to our students while saving Registrar's Office staff time. Prior to our partnership, our institution didn't have the capability to offer our students a pdf formated transcript or digital diploma. This partnership has enhanced the service we can offer our students. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parchment?

So far, there has been no negative aspects of our partnership with Parchment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parchment?

I appreciate how much time Parchment saves our office. The implementation process was easy. Their customer support is excellent. Our graduates love the digital diploma. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parchment?

I wish Parchment's diploma service allowed for a single file upload similar to Diplomas on Demand. With DoD, users could indicate the template code in the csv file. Running multiple Banner jobs and uploading multiple csv files is time-consuming given the number of templates we have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parchment?

I find using Parchment to save me time most of the time. That being said some of the almuni have to be scanned, but still saves money and time because we can do it at our convenience in a timely manner of course. This has saved me hours of work after the students graduate to just approve the process. I love the tech support as well. THey are always helpful and courtious. What do you dislike about Parchment?

Some times we get a verification and that has become somewhat comoplicated because it ask for a student ID and that was not clear on what it was looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Parchment?

The members of the Parchment team working on our project communicated the needs and outcomes of each step of the process well. Moreover, they provided clear guidance and support on how to best utilize our account features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Parchment?

That the certificate graphics that we needed to submit could only be in one format; rather than as a jpeg, PDF or Publisher file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
