This product allows teams to get on the same page in a very quick manner. As a UX Designer, I am not always sure how complex it will be to develop my designs. Parabol allows our entire team to come together and have a shared understanding of each ticket and the amount of work it'll take to get it done. I feel this tool has created a stronger connection between UX and the Development Team. We are able to speak the same language and there's been a lot less back and forth on tickets because of our Parabol usage! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
N/A! For what I use Parabol for (once every 2 weeks), it works great. I'm more of a participant in each session vs someone who sets it up, so for my level of usage, the product is very accessible and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very use to use and so quick to set up meetings. I like how easy it is to create actions during discussions and capture everyones thoughts it one single location. The email summaries are useful for when you miss a meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was an option to play background music (like in FigJam). Sometimes the silence while everyone is typing out their responses is a big void. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We tried a few tools for conducting retrospectives, but we found that Parabol was the best for us. Its interface is simple and beautiful, and the developers have put thought into every feature and option. This attention to detail is evident in the final product. Parabol also includes several meeting templates that make it easy to prepare for a retrospective. Plus, it integrates well with other major tools. Finally, the AI-generated report that is emailed to you at the end of the meeting is a great feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
"I find the menus outside the meetings unintuitive. The team dashboard could be improved and I miss some features to see meeting stats, such as identifying which team members have written the most tickets in retrospectives, etc." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The UI is simple and easy to use. The icebreakers start you off with a little chuckle, while the presets help you focus on the discussions happening during the meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The limited amount of free presets for Retro. Also, the Jira integration when sprint planning doesn't alwys work and we have to manually set the story points instead of doing it through the Parabol UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- No frills, straight forward ceremony creation & facilitation
- Super intuitive
- Multiple templates (for Planning, Retro, etc)
- Basic configs available (Ice breaker, Anonymous Retro feedback)
- Integrates with Jira for Planning (and estimate assignment straight to Jira)
- Auto-summary of grouped feedback in Retros Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- While it integrates with Jira for the ceremonies, doesn't seem to export nicely Retro actions so we can import and track them in Jira instead Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using Parabol for both backlog refinements and retrospective meetings. The best features about Parobol from my experience so far: 1) templates: the ability to customize and modify accordingly to individual team needs, 2) Jira tickets can be added into the tool and a seamless experience for updating story points through Parabol 3) the ability to create teams within Parabol, 4) summary via email: reduces the effort to take meeting notes and distribute post meetings, 5) ice breakers: every time I would have to pull ice breakers for retros, but this solves the hazzle, 6) individual progress markers during retros! Overall, a very pleasant experience. I also love that it gives an overview of the team tasks which reduces the effort to track action items, making it a self managed system! Some add-ons that would be great:
- Can be more fun by adding more colors
- Other voting options
- Music to the tool while the team is working on adding thoughts during retro Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great UX - super clear. Process intuitive, with a fun element, easy to implement with the team. We use it as part of our scum ceremonies on frequent base
Allow teams to have open and not biased dialog Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I find most impressive about Parabol is its seamless integration of agile methodologies and its ability to foster efficient and engaging online collaboration. The tool excels at streamlining the entire project management process, from planning and execution to retrospectives and continuous improvement.
Its user-friendly interface, robust task management features, and customizable workflows make it a standout choice for teams seeking agility and adaptability.

It's important to note that these potential drawbacks are relatively minor compared to the overall strengths and benefits that Parabol brings to project management. The team behind Parabol is actively working to improve the tool based on user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to let our organization come together, brainstorm and discuss matters while also able to let our members comment anonymously on the platform. We get genuine feedback this way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We got really disliked making the reaction not anonymous. When the user switches to anonymouse mode in the comments, the reaction should also be anonymouse. This helps us connect to our members and get their genuine feedback on polls and on discussions happening in our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Parabol is a great product. It's intuiative and easy to use. The ability to group feedback and then comment is amazing. I especially love the notes sent out after the fact. It really reduces the administrative time in running sprint ceremonies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Make the card size variable to the amount of text. Sometimes the text box is not big enough and scrolling is a bit clunky. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
