There are several technical bugs and limitations. The Necto formula feature is very useful, but with moderate sized data, the Necto server will time out with the most basic formulas. I would like to use exception highlighting for example, but I know it won't work with my data. Panorama Necto is a very powerful tool. What we like most about this product, is the ease of use of it, as users familiarize themselves with it very quickly. The info-graphics are probably one of the more powerful pieces of the tool. I also like that it fits well into our overall solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Flash based UI. I haven't been able to see the new HTML one yet. We've also had a lot of issues with controls working correctly within the workboards as well as some workboard issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Panorama Necto is a very business-oriented BI system, compared to other data discovery tools like Tableau and Qlik. Necto has inherited the legacy of OLAP, both in the product's functions and in the consulting resources of subject-matter experts, and has a high capability to build BI systems to aid problem-solving and management in ordinary businesses.

2. Panorama Necto can easily create a Necto model from raw data and transactions, providing excellent adaptability to new challenging tasks.

3. It can add a splendid visual appearance to the dashboard with infographics (IGs). Panorama is a pioneer in applying IG representation for BI systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Though it can connect to any type of data source, it requires a SQL server for the analysis engine, which might be a con for users of open-source databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL.
