The support staff has also always been knowledgeable and has collaborated in a concrete and timely manner. Furthermore, the excellent implementation of the integration with Blackboard via LTI is of fundamental importance. Finally, the user interface has always been easy to use and intuitive. Panopto provides a one-stop solution for the myriad of videos at our organization. The ability to connect with a professional closed-capitoning company to easily add transcripts is such a time saver and a huge plus. Customer support is responsive and helpful. Would love to have the ability to incorporate fades, titles, and audio editing. The "unarchive" process is lengthy and a little unpredictable at time (time estimates can be a little bit off). What I like best about Panopto is how easy it makes recording and organizing videos. You can hit record, talk through your slides or screen, and it automatically uploads and sorts everything for you. The search features are also super helpful — you can type in a word and Panopto finds the exact moment in the video where it was said or shown. The main thing I dislike about Panopto is that it can feel slow and clunky sometimes. Uploading or processing videos can take longer than you’d expect, and the editing tools aren’t as smooth or intuitive as other platforms. On course setup, that's fair feedback. I want to mention that Panopto offers a Bulk Scheduling Tool for Remote Recorders that lets admins upload recording schedules in one pass instead of configuring each one individually. If that's not already part of your workflow, our support team can help you get it set up. On pricing, that's specific to your account and best handled directly, so I'd encourage you to connect with your account manager to talk through options.
