We onboarded in November after paying $4,775 to benefit from lead generation services as a provider agency. Leads were available; however, typically ~25 agencies and freelancers were competing for the same limited leads (1-3 leads per month).
Pangea changed terms unexpectedly one month after we joined, stating that they would hold the contracts with our customers, which was not acceptable, since we contractually guarantee our work directly with our clients as a tech services provider.
They never managed to provide any viable leads to us within their crowded ecosystem of freelancers. We are a high-end strategy and tech consultancy and development agency, so the fit was poor.
Ultimately, upon requesting a refund given the significant change in terms, Pangea senior leaders (not the owners / CEO - who were always pleasant to me) became combative and issued ultimatums. When we ended our contract working together (with Pangea having failed to serve our needs), they sent a note to prospective customers telling them that we were no longer working together since our high-end, values-based consultancy didn't meet their standards bar, which further showcased unscrupulous business ethic, since they never had a project with us to assess our strengths and weaknesses in the first place.
I recommend that Pangea.ai leadership team position the business to serve freelancers and staffing agencies, not project-based tech consultancies. Moreover, cultural change and insistence on values-based decision-making will help the company grow and avoid service provider attrition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
