The way Pages works seamlessly across all my Apple devices (iPhone and iPad) as well as solid functionality on the web browser-based version which I use on my PC. Especially well- integrated with the Apple Ecosystem and iCloud Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One challenge I have had is that the icons for the tools, document controls, and options menus are often a bit opaque; i.e. they don't always tell you what they do or what sub-menus are hidden behind them.
Also, compared to MS Word which I use a lot on the job, I miss the ability (or just haven't learned how) to run macros for massive document re-formatting and content find-and-replace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Creating visually-pleasing layouts in an easy-to-use app that syncs across all my devices and the web. I love the Styles pane, the ability to easily add and edit images (even from my iPhone), and the collaboration features are excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The web version leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise the app is fantastic. There are a few Word features that it doesn't have, but they don't affect me. Obviously, most people use Word so getting them to use Pages to collaborate can be an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I was nervous when I switched from Microsoft to Apple, I thought learning a new word processing program would be a stressful task. I was completely wrong. The program is free, just as simple and there is compadibility to other word processors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features are missing than Word. It takes some time to get used to how the program works and the keyboard shortcuts, and where all the amenities are. While I appreciate the the product being free as well as the updates, some upgrades have growing pains Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Pages is an excellent tool for writing. At first, I was skeptical about using Pages because I was very used to Word. Still, after giving Pages an opportunity, I realized that it was (for me) better than Word. Pages have great tools for providing any document with a suitable design format. For example, it has smart guides to help you align figures or photos, and it will be harder for them to be moving around the document as it will be in Word. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any complaints about Pages; it works great for my needs. Some people complain that it only works for Mac and that whenever they share documents for no iOs users, the document is modified. Still, I don't see this as a problem because Pages can export any document as PDF or even Word format. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you are used to working with Microsoft Word, it is the same but much easier and more intuitive.
It has some presets that help to design invitations, posters, or documents in a fast and dynamic way.
The automatic correction helps you write more fluently, and the design options are easy and intuitive when it comes to improving your texts.
You can open Microsoft Word files without problem, and in the same way save in .pdf, .pages or .word Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like the least is when it comes to adding images to your documents or adding graphics. I find them a bit outdated and challenging to make it 'pretty. Some aspects such as the page numbering theme could be improved, but in general, it is easy to use, and if you are a mac user, it is a free program, and if not, you can use it online from iCloud. it's free and easy to use. available across all apple devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not as powerful as Microsoft word. Word is more widely used and available cross platform compare to pages available only for mac & ios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a Mac user, I like using Pages because it integrates with my computer so well. Pages is fairly user-friendly, especially if you have experience with another word processing software. There is nothing especially difficult about Pages; it is basically what one would expect it to be. I also appreciate the fact that I am able to export my Pages document as other file types, just in case I am transferring my work to someone without the ability to open a Pages file. My biggest gripe with Pages is mostly that it is not Microsoft Word. Since Word is more commonly used, most people can accept .doc files, whereas Pages documents often run into trouble when trying to be shared. Although there is an option to export your file as a Word document, I have run into trouble with my page formatting when I have done so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Very user-friendly, this software is far better than its main competitor, Microsoft Word. Pages allows us to use two work modes: word processor mode (like Word) or layout mode (more like InDesign). This is very helpful. Apple rarely does anything bad. And, in addition, it's free for Mac users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, some images are in tricky positions. I have to be very careful that any images are in "Move with Text" instead of "Stay on Page" mode (default option) in "Object Placement section", because images will not be moving with text, so it will create a big mess (text and images are all mixed). The thing I love the most about Pages is how easy it is to navigate through. The format makes it easy to keep all my notes organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish that I could work on my Pages document on my Windows device. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Actually Pages is much more than word processing software. For example it is possible to insert images independent of the text and also the copy / paste from Illustator works very well, with vector elements. I also use it a lot on my iPad Pro and all documents are saved in the Cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It doesn't have a great compatibility with Microsoft Word, even if I do the export in that format. Personally I only use Pages, but it happens that I need to export a document for people who use only Word and it could be a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
