Perfect app for writing your documents, articles, etc. It has a lot of templates for letters and reports, and its new integration with Apple Intelligence with Writing tools is amazing! Also, that is free software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Works Well with Apple Devices: If you use Apple devices like Mac, iPad, or iPhone, Pages lets you seamlessly work on your documents across all of them.
Nice Templates: There are cool templates in Pages that make your documents look good without needing design skills.
Allows Collaboration: You can work on documents with others at the same time, although it's not as advanced as some other options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No Ease of Integration: Not Great Outside Apple World: If you need to share documents with people who don't use Apple devices, Pages might give you compatibility issues.
Hard to Convince Other Businesses: If your workplace is used to other popular programs like Microsoft Word, getting them to switch to Pages might be a challenge.
Not Super Advanced: For complex tasks, Pages might not have all the fancy features you'd find in programs like Microsoft Word. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A lttle bit of issues are faced while using its formating and converting word file features, it is basically taking more time then expected.
The UI or UX of the software is still requiring some upgrades and OS updates for better performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Solid Macintosh program that integrates nicely with the other publishing tools available on the Mac OS X platform. Handles RTF, TXT, DOCX files and exports to PDF and EPUB. Excellent font support with broad options for styling and positioning. Excellent image and video support including the ability to embed YouTube videos. Good scripting support. Would be good to have a better way of sizing document. The old "Page Setup" system is a bit archaic. The scripting support could be improved because it is the ability to create interaction for subscribe and publish type interoperability the sets the Mac system apart from others. Less reliance on templates that need extensive changes and allow for template parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that you can make design boards without having to use photoshop (you can erase the background of images, etc). I also find it to be easy to use for typing purposes as there are lots of templates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find it to be clunky sometimes with multiple efforts to figure out how to do simple processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When you want to create a beautiful document with just the right amount of formatting options and don't have to go through a pain to move a picture, you use pages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not cross platform. I get why they would do that but it's what I miss when I want to share with my colleagues on Windows. Sure online version exists but it's not very stable if your internet connection is weak/slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been an Apple fanboy for a long time. To me Pages combines the best of word processing with essential features from artistic document creators like Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Publisher in an easier-to-use package. It functions well as a word-processing program for creating letters, invoices, memos, and presentations. But I've seen some amazing page layouts done in Pages that would have required InDesign or Publisher in the past. However Pages is much more intuitive to use once you get the hang of it. The simple interface belies the power hiding behind the tools it provides. And on top of all that is is FREE. Every Apple computer and mobile device includes a license to install and use it. Pages are no competitor to the power user features found in Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect, so those tools are better for professional offices. It is missing some of the document-sharing features found in Google Docs or Microsoft Word. But for its intended audience it is really a powerful alternative for everyday use, and I would give it a try. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
