What do you like best about Paessler PRTG?

The tool is very good and easy to configure and/or deploy, whether with local or remote sensors when there are remote sites within the company. It has a wide variety of sensors and has the tools to customize or create sensors based on the MIB files of any manufacturer and covers the seven layers of the OSI model to be monitored and generate the respective alerts. What do you dislike about Paessler PRTG?

The only thing, perhaps, is that it doesn't have a version to install on Linux and also the increase in its price, which has been very significant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A simple way to monitor network performance and alerting. Easy to integrate with elements that you want to monitor for daily monitoring use. Easy to implement in small or large networks. What do you like best about Paessler PRTG?

We have been using PRTG for over 6 years for successful monitoring of network and other hardware. Hardware from different manufacturers can be easily integrated into PRTG. Changes to probes can be implemented quickly and easily. PRTG regularly informs us about failures and interruptions of components. Due to good documentation on the internet, we have not needed customer support so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Paessler PRTG?

We have been using PRTG productively in our data center and with customers for several years now. PRTG has always worked reliably and flawlessly. It is sometimes difficult to set up custom probes, which requires a lot of configuration. A bit of trouble with custom probes to get the right result in XML or JSON for compatibility in PRTG. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
