The licensing options are based on the number of sensors, not the number of devices. Most of our customers use roughly 10 sensors per device which means that you can easily monitor 100 devices with the PRTG 1000 license. If you hit a sensor limit you can simply upgrade to a higher license by just paying the price difference.
