## Paddle Reviews
  ### 1. Paddle is a great way for sellers based anywhere to set up recurring payments in SaaS products

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chafic N. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 28, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I use Paddle to sell monthly subscriptions to a website builder for webcomic artists.

What I like the most about Paddle is that unlike many of its competitors, it supports sellers from almost every country, including mine.

Setting up Paddle's "branded inline checkout" and webhooks in my code was easy and everything works. Paddle also takes care of everything related to payments, such as collecting the correct amount of VAT for every user, so that I can focus on building the product.

The admin dashboard is easy to use and feature-complete, and the user interface keeps improving every month. I've also contacted support a couple of times through the dashboard and they always respond quickly.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Paddle works well and doesn't have any significant downsides. My only feature request is to have the ability to fully develop the user interface of the Paddle checkout using my own text fields, buttons, fonts, etc. instead of having to rely on Paddle's limited styling options.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a founder from Lebanon and Paddle was the only solution I found that could enable me to accept payments from my users. I've used Paddle for a couple of years now and found that everything just works. I've already received my first payout and I'm about to receive my second one soon. I highly recommend it.

  ### 2. Good service and platform.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Easy tool to use, and easy deployment. Good reporting capabilities

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Lack of flexibility to change predefined templates. Example, editing "Donwload" from emails

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Introduced virtual payments capabilities to our business.

  ### 3. Highly recommends

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wassim B. | CEO

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle is easy to use, and they have excellent customer support. What I like most about them is how they go beyond payment and are very efficient at taking care of tax margins, retention emails sent to your customers, and invoices.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

It would be nice if you can manage multiple projects with the same account, a lot of founders have multiple SaaS

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

accepting subscription, manage tax margins, invoicing

  ### 4. An Efficient Business Solution with Devoted Support Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rameez Y. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

JFreaks launched its first product ipgeolocation.io two years ago and we used Paddle as our payment processor first time. I really appreciate the way Paddle Manages the payments from all over the world, Checkout links, Subscriptions VAT, GST, Sales tax brilliantly. Above all the Paddle has a devoted support team. Now, we have spent 2 years with the Paddle and feeling like the Paddle as our own team.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

It's a bit hard for me to express what I dislike. But I would say it needs a little bit of improvement to collaborate with the banks in some areas for smooth transactions.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

I personally recommend using Paddle as the payment processor.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling payments from all over the world for SAAS based products.
Handling subscriptions (Monthly & Yearly).
Recovering the failed payments.
Wire Transfers
VAT, GST, and other sales taxes.
Preparing a plan in dealing with the customers who canceled their subscriptions with us.

  ### 5. Super simple and straight forward for SaaS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 21, 2021

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I liked the team around that will help you with your objectives.
The really straightforward platform and integration.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The price point, really high comparing with other vendors.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy payments with integration

  ### 6. Very Helpful Team and Efficient Business Model

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anastasia L. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle has a very fast onboarding process and helpful and kind Team.
From legal perspective Paddle acts as a reseller or MoR and manages all VAT, GST and sales taxes and issues Invoices to customers. It's a great support for a company which starts growing globally.
Paddle supports migration processes from other processors.
They are up to date and open to new service improving ideas.
Nice dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

We faced a few issues while integrating Paddle into our own billing system. Not all the integration was clear and easy for us. I suppose this was so because our billing system is rather complex and we work with multi-item carts, upgrades and downgrades, refunds and so on. So it took some extra time for integration team to make it all work correctly.
Unfortunately Paddle does not support local payment methods like SEPA Direct Debit, Boleto, iDEAL, Bancontact and so on yet. I'm sure, launching local payment methods would help vendors to increase sales in specific regions.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle helps to start sales in a new region very fast, because:
- it handles all VAT, GST and Sales tax and that saves lots of time, money and resources
- localised checkouts and sales in local currencies
- supporting of the most popular payment methods - CC, Paypal
- dealing with subscriptions.

  ### 7. Great Payment gateway for software licensing

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wilberforce S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle card payment option had a direct impact on increasing our sales due to its easy checkout process. Handling of cross border taxes is bliss with G2. Its robust API allows for great integration with other platforms.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Paddle two challenges. The payout process is slow i.e. mid of the month. If they can allow users to choose their payout date or have it at the end of the month it will help improve liquidity which is an important factor for small businesses.

The second improvement is on customer support response time. While I understand there could be a large volume of customer requests, I think there is still room for improvement.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

It is a great platform for SaaS subscription business

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Card payments - previously we struggled because we could not get a robust ready card payment platform for software
- Handling of cross border taxation is an effective

  ### 8. Excellent technical support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerry K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle are great at answering technical questions. We've been integrating our servers with Paddle's services, and came across a very strange corruption of one field in a message sent during fulfillment. This resulted in a series of emails, and investigations, that eventually showed neither of us were at fault, and the error was being introduced at our servers by a bug in a 3rd party component. And Paddle have consistently answerd queries as we've worked through their API.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Dislike is a bit harsh. The time taken to get an initial response may be a day, but thereafter it comes quickly.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major problem that Paddle addresses is global tax compliance. We started originally looking at WorldPay as our payment gateway, without considering sales tax issues initially. Once we started looking at that, and the USA, it became immediately obvious we couldn't deal with this as a start up company. Enter Paddle. We can concentrate on our core strengths, and they take away that massive hassle. We are just about to launch, so I can't comment on the next stage, as we start selling through Paddle.

  ### 9. Paddle is a simple and efficient payment solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ivan M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

It works. It took us 7 days to integrate our first product with Paddle and just 3 days for the second one. We haven't had any issues with processing credit cards or Paypal payments. Payouts are accurate and on time. There's barely any reason to log in to Paddle, everything just works! Their support, account executive, and support engineers were more than helpful. We fully recommend Paddle to all startups and businesses that sell digital goods.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Reporting isn't complete yet. We are missing SaaS dashboard widgets but they seem to be adding new ones from time to time. API could be more straightforward so we can use it to build our own reporting.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

We strongly recommend Paddle to others. Instead of building and supporting billing modules on your own, Paddle will do everything for you. You can focus on your business while Paddle collects money for you.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle handles credit card processing, Paypal payments, worldwide taxes (VAT, sales tax etc.), takes care of invoicing, full and partial refunds, recurring payments, one time payments, affiliates management, and many more.

  ### 10. Great experience as a new client

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thibault R. | G, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 31, 2021

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Great Support
Product
Smoorh technical integration
Professionalism
Industry Expertise

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Diversity of Payments Methods
Admin user-friendiness

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to outsource all sales taxes and other payment operations.

We also benefit from Paddle expertise in payment optimization and monetization.

  ### 11. Awesome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle's team is awesome and super helpful (especially Robbie), most of the time they respond in a couple of minutes. They are very open-minded about your feedback.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

It is nothing about Paddle in particular, but in general billing is a very complex topic and it is time-consuming to implement (for me as a developer). But Paddle's API is well documented and the team will always support you, if you have questions.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a reseller Paddle solves all the challenges around conforming to the value-added tax (VAT) rules. It is almost impossible to do this on your own, if you are a small European company. Therefore Paddle is also an enabler for our SaaS businesses (Storrito.com and Audiocado.com)

  ### 12. Perfect partner for business growth

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Benjamin B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 17, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We started in April 2018 with Paddle because we were looking for a new partner that can handle all the payment and provides an affiliate system to help us grow. The documentation is clear and the API as simple to integrate. Within a day we were able to switch to Paddle. The checkout of Paddle is highly optimized and has helped us to sell more licenses than before. The monthly payment is made within 14 days, usually under 10 days. And whenever we have questions the support of Paddle replies very fast.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Sadly, the affiliate system is disabled for new vendors. For independent developers it is now some extra work to start with Paddle and an affiliate system. It would be great, if the backend of Paddle would work better on mobile devices. Also multi language support is still missing since years.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Convince them to re-activate the affiliate system for new vendors.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selling software globally without having to deal with all the tax regulations for each country. Also the registration and handling of our affiliates - Paddle takes care of all this. We can focus on creating awesome WordPress plugins.

  ### 13. Improved our US payment acceptance and made us tax compliant there

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gediminas G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle has an amazing team who looks after everything while onboarding and after. They will follow up with you and provide feedback so that you constantly improve.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

There is nothing that I dislike. One small thing is that when refunds are issued by Paddle team the notifications could be different than refunds issued by us.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have solved a major issue with US authorization rate and realised that tax compliance is relatively simple when you use Paddle. We are very happy here at Hostinger that we have selected Paddle so solve the issues we face in US market.

  ### 14. The payment processesor that is really for trust

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin Q. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Im From Argentina, and all my clients are from Latam ( I have SaaS services) . Paddle gives me an excellent support always on my integration, and always helping me to get the best results.
That i see from paddle, its that its works very well in Latam in difference of others processors, i will chose again paddle for others projects.
All other positive that see in paddle is the support ticket, they help with your customers every day, if you are busy or not have time, the support goes into the middle and help the other person ( this is very important) .
Go on paddle!

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

One thing to dislike is that they not have a IOS app for checking all the mornings my stats, i think that it will be available soon.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Problems in America Latina are so much in the way of debit/credit cards but Paddle solve all these problems. I have 1000 active members for a SAAS service and really its works very well!

  ### 15. Fantastic on boarding experience, amazing personal support & years of great relations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** An Estonian C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle has the most fantastic and personal customer support & account team to walk the surface of this planet. We not only had the smoothest on boarding experience, but also the most amazing vendor support experience with them for years.

Their APIs are fantastic, and the service is incredibly reliable, but most importantly, Paddle team is incredibly friendly and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

This is not so much of a dislike, but a fair heads-up.

As a side of effect of being a Merchant on Record, Paddle needs to have a bit more visual control over their checkout flow, and depending on your branding / web design skills Paddle's own design might stick out a bit from your own brand / design.

This is 100% expected and we signed up knowing this, don't mind this at all, and this has been working flawlessly for us for 3 years now. To summarize, for us, the compliance and ease-of-operation benefits far surpass the minor design inconveniences.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you're an EU vendor selling subscriptions, and value compliance as much as we do, you must have already read and heard about VAT MOSS and the many million bad flavors of how tax compliance and legal compliance can make or break your business in Europe.

Without Paddle, and their all-in-one tax/compliance/subscription management system, we'd be flailing our arms frantically in water, trying to swim through the messy, unforgiving and taxing seas of Europe. Instead we're on a boat paddling and sipping mimosas now.

As a small startup, it's downright impossible to get the ever-changing tax rates right, have a solid in-house accounting team who can file VAT MOSS correctly, and have to deal with the legal nightmare that could ensue from messing up. Paddle solves all this with a bunch of clicks.

  ### 16. Easy to integrate and awesome support!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Herman S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

After moving my company to a country that did not support Stripe, I had to make a switch to a different payment provider. Paddle made the switch so easy and with their excellent documentation and tech support integration was a breeze. Payments are always on time, and they are able to resolve a lot of user account issues without any interaction from my side.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The fees are a little high, but you do get customer account support included, so the slightly higher fees do make sense.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle provides a recurring payment solution for my company and multiple apps.

  ### 17. Stable service with constant improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Despite our special needs it has been quite easy to implement, and their support team along with our account manager have been really helpful in the process. Since then we haven't experienced any downtime, and whenever we had a question, we could get an appropriate answer fairly quick. We also love, that we can get a lot of raw data out of the system, and that it is able to handle wire transfers.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The checkout experience would need a bit more room for customization, and it would be great to see what Paddle communicates with our customers via email. (E.g. what sort of notification they get on failing billing.)

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have introduced Paddle as a future replacement of another subscription management service, that isn't able to handle volume licences, makes invoicing difficult, and takes a much larger cut from the revenue.

  ### 18. Perfect for my subscription management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** ROy R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle offers high quality services to manage the subscriptions I am selling via roosterz.nl. Their support is of high quality and fast (within 24 hours is my personal opinion).

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

A smaller percentage for each sale would be great ;-).

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscription management of the plugins I am selling. Not only does it work seamlessly, also they take care of the sales tax management (which saves a lot of time and frustration).

  ### 19. Makes online SaaS businesses sell globally with ease!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

- Personal support from Jeppe who has helped advise what will work best with our billing setup and any technical questions we had.
- Global tax collection to help smaller startups get back to building rather than dealing with financial setup.
- Nice UI that keeps things simple and easy to find.
- Abandoned cart collection.
- API is quick to implement into your app.
- My customers are sent to Paddle for payment questions.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

- It would be good to have a better testing system rather than being forced to use 100% coupon codes. They have just added webhook testing support which should help greatly!
- Popup payment screen could load a bit quicker.
- A paid plan that reduced the commission would be nice to have when businesses scale.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to sell globally and collect VAT on our behalf. Worldwide tax collection is just too complex for small startups like us. Having Paddle deal with billing customer support will really help improve our efficiency and focus on marketing our product.

  ### 20. Talented and super helpful team!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin S. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Although we are not live with Paddle yet, the cooperation with them and their professional can-do attitude have been amazing.
We really look forward to growing our SaaS business with Paddle.

What we really appreciate with Paddle is that they act as merchant of record. This allows us to go live global from day one. Which is truly amazing!

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Nothing to dislike in particular. It would be great with more options when we move to B2B, e.g. an option to generate quotes.

But, all in all Paddle is great.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're soon going live with a B2C software, and use Paddle to handle all the billing.

  ### 21. Fantastic platform with great service!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle offers a wide variety of tools and a clean interface to easily navigate invoices, issue refunds, create coupons and more. Their customer support is extremely helpful as well! Vikki in particular always provides a very friendly and informative answer for any questions.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Issuing refunds for older returns cannot be actioned on our end, it would be nice if we could do this!

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Paddle is a an easy to use and robust platform for managing subscriptions!

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle helps us easily transact and mange customer subscriptions without the need for a dedicated sales team

  ### 22. Great Product, Amazing service!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben L. | Director of Customer Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle ability to customize a solution that will suit us best, while providing support and best practices knowledge through out the on-boarding process

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

That we did not migrate our payment processing to paddle sooner :)

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provide customers in the U.S. with a smooth and seems-less payment processing flow, while also allowing those customers to send wire transfer domestically.

  ### 23. Increased our revenue in key markets

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

At Skylum, we have potential customers from all over the world deciding whether to buy our products or not so it’s incredibly important to us that when these customers do decide to purchase, they are able to enjoy a quick, seamless checkout experience no matter where they’re purchasing from.

This is where we’ve been most impressed with Paddle – after testing them across a variety of different markets, including the DACH regions, other European countries, Japan and Korea, we saw a significant increase in conversion and revenue per user.

The Paddle team has also been very engaged with us both from a commercial and technical perspective throughout the course of the integration and testing period. We’re looking forward to growing with Paddle and the team.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The system is still missing some features, needed for faster implementation.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to compare Paddle with other merchant partners in certain markets. In terms of revenue per customer, Paddle has shown much better results!

  ### 24. Amazing service you'll never see anywhere else

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Narek S. | Chief Executive Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 05, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We're using Paddle for over 1 year and it never crashed. We had worst experiences with other payment providers which were not stable, but after switching to Paddle our payment gateway was very stable without any major crashes over the last year. If we have any problems, their support is instant and very fast. They do value their customers and definitely we'll stay with them for a long time. Payouts are fast and there are no financial reserves compared to our past providers. That makes things easy.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Nothing. We're using them for over a year and everything is great so far. We were lacking various currencies as we sell worldwide but they are adding new currencies constantly. Also, we submit product development offers and they do value those and implement it.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle increased our revenue with its amazing built in tools.

  ### 25. Great payment processing for SaaS!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrey A. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

- Easy to do refunds, change or add plans, manage subscription, coupons
-Anatomically handling of VAT MOSS
- Customers can pay with a PayPal
- Good support

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

It's a bit annoying that payouts only once a month.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using as the main payment processor for my SaaS business

  ### 26. Paddle is an all-in-one solution for selling digital goods

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I really appreciate it that Paddle handles TAX/VAT on our behalf. This means there's way less paperwork to be done, so I can focus on other, more important things.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I feel like subscription apps have been in beta for a really long time without seeing any meaningful progress. This eventually becomes a problem for our users since they sometimes can't activate their app because the license needs to be reset (which we can't do currently).

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selling software. From payments to handling licenses.

  ### 27. Great payment processor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marko S. | Co-founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Quick and responsive customer support whenever I had any issues or quesrions

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Some of the charts in the dashboard could be improved to be more useful and more up-to-date

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Worth a try if you're looking for a payment processor

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle is a payment processor for a startup I'm working on. It allows us to accept payments without needing to worry about all that and without needing to worry about VAT and things like that.

  ### 28. Solid service, superb team and support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Janos F. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Extremely supportive and responsive team

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The API and the dashboard could improve.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were getting tired of dealing with the big players on the market, they become slow to respond, difficult to reach and careless of growing together.
With Paddle's super friendly and responsive team, the onboarding process was a breeze and we did it in a record time, compared to others. Going forward, we have an amazing Account Manager who provided solid and fast solutions for every and any requests we had. It's very rare to see such dedication from a big company like them.

  ### 29. Great all-in-one payment solution for big and small online business alike.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heluva D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 10, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Great all-in-one payment solution, you won't need anything else. Forget about things like payment gateway, merchant account, card processor when all you need is a Paddle account. Quick setup, simple but effective UI dashboard, easy to implement.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Not really much but one thing might be the long payout interval.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Online payment solutions.

  ### 30. Great service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle handles VAT/Sales tax. For a small SaaS company doing business WW, it is really difficult handling taxes internally. I'm glad to have Paddle on board.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

A few things to be implemented, such as testing environment, better reporting, etc.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscriptions and taxes.

  ### 31. Paddle Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

- Flexible team subscription management allows our customers to grow their account organically, on a self-serve basis.
- Very responsive customer support

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

- Somewhat restrictive design for checkout flow and emails

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Invoicing tool allows Enterprise customers to be billed via wire transfer.
- Paddle's Merchant of Record model saves on resources that would otherwise have to be dedicated to tax collection and remittance globally

  ### 32. the best payment gateway I have found

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eugene B. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

1. Modern and simple interface, very easy to find features you want to use, saves a lot of time!
2. Very simple payment form with great design. It doesn't scare customers with overcomplication (for example one of their competitors required customers to enter full address)
3. Accept foreign companies from other countries (as most payment gateways not available for companies from a lot of countries).
4. Have a built-in affiliate program.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Sometimes they processing some refund request so you have no way to know what went wrong with the customer.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it to accept foreign bank cards on our website, as Russian payment gateways usually reject it.

  ### 33. Saves a lot of time and stress

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ben R. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The simple API and Dashboard is awesome. I have expirience with Stripe, Chargebee, Paypal but Paddle was the simplest so far to implement. It also handles VAT and Taxes for you, wich is a big painkiller if your business operates in the EU. Payouts from Paddle are always on time. Really happy!

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Nothing. Till now everything is great with Paddle.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Without Padlde i would send my tax office hundreds of single bills every month (and they would charge me for every single bill). With Paddle i just got 1 single bill every month, VAT and taxes are handled and i have a lot more time for building a great product instead of taking care about taxes.

  ### 34. Easy to implement and sophisticated admin

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** James Q. | James Qualtrough, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We've implemented Paddle into our two core products now and have been delighted with the service received and the performance of the product. It's helped us ship products early with a full feature set.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I've not really found anything I dislike yet. We've used this product to deliver exactly what we need from a Saas product subscription perspective.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Speak to the Paddle team, they offer really good service and will help you get the most out of their product.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a solution that handled Saas payments and managed the international tax for us. Paddle has been a great solution for this but we've since started to explore offering Affiliate programmes for our products once we discovered this was all possible through Paddle as well.

  ### 35. So glad that I found Paddle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aleksandr L. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Brilliant service for accepting payments from all over the world, super easy to use and simply beyond my expectations! Paddle is my reliable partner for ages now, and I couldn't ask for more.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I found nothing I can complain about by now.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

I recommend this service, it's a pain killer.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I solve all of my online payments receiving problems with Paddle. It processes payments very quickly, and support team is also great.

  ### 36. great payment provider for ecommerse and more

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Polina F. | Business Owner, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

It is very easy to set up an account, no special documents are required
Paddle is very modern service, as well as check out page, so it doesn't look alien on your website
They are always updating and improving the service, so payment systems will be up to date.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Only one small thing, that they trying to outsource request tickets to themselves, in my opinion, it slows down the time we solve a problem of a customer.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

I would recommend seeing their commissions at first, as it is can be too high for very cheap products.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We using it to accept payment for international clients, as Russian payment gateways are very strict to foreign debit and credit cards.

  ### 37. Great in every aspect

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandra S. | Sales and marketing manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

A powerful yet easy-to-use service for instant purchases. Paddle provides fast onboarding, has a straightforward user interface so it takes little to no time to set up your workflows and start working.

It also counts taxes for you, which is extremely convenient and safe. The tax refund feature has also proved to be very helpful and works seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Prices are not low, but the services you receive in return are worth it.

Customer support is not instant and sometimes takes more time than expected.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Paddle for instant online purchases of software, monthly subscription billing, and online purchase management. Paddle allows us to set up automatic online purchases and license delivery to the end user, and it handles taxes for us.

  ### 38. Big part of my business

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Quick and easy integration.
They react to feature requests and bug reports.
Their prices are fair. At least compared with Apple's 30%.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

In the beginning, the support and the communication was a bit chaotic. But that improved a lot within the last year or two. However they still redirect every support query they get from my users to me, even though they could solve it by themselves. (Like resending a license code to the user)
Their vendor website feels a bit dated at some sections, but all in all it is usable.
The documentation isn't very detailed on some parts.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been one of the early users of Paddle since they started a few years ago. Their service helped me a lot to start selling my products (Software for macOS) easily without having to think about foreign tax, user and license management. It helped me a lot to grow my company. I wouldn't want to do business without the help of Paddle anymore.

  ### 39. Perfect solution for international payments

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Biraj G. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I'm a founder from India and most of my customers are from US so payment was a big issue for me until I found Paddle. Super easy interface, no need for bank verifications and no restriction on receiving international payments.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Charges could be lowered. they seems to be a bit on the higher side.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My issue was that in India there aren't any payment gateways that allows you to collect recurring international payments, so I tried reaching out to Stripe but they don't have any ETA on India launch and they have been in beta in India for years now! so I tried Paddle and found it perfectly suitable for my needs.

  ### 40. Super simple, yet super powerful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexey C. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle deducts and pays VAT MOSS on our behalf.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Paddle redirects users' support requests to us when customers reach out to them because it's Paddle who they receive emails from (order confirmation, receipts, etc). I wish they'd state that support has to be directed at us directly.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selling Mac and browsers apps. We really appreciate handling all the tax stuff on our behalf because we're a small company and don't have resources to handle complicated bureaucracy ourselves. With Paddle, it's super straightforward -- just add a couple of lines of code, everything else's covered by them.

  ### 41. Paddle is your no.1 choice as selling partner if you like to avoid problems with VAT in EU

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maik B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

If you are selling to the different countries in the EU you will have to charge your customer with a different amount of VAT in every country. Paddle is handling all this for you and also helps you to display the correct prices on your website including the corresponding VAT. That‘s absolutely great!

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Sure nothing comes for free, so you will have to pay a fee on every transaction...

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Ask for contact and help. They are awesome!

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Stop worrying about VAT, save time with accounting!

  ### 42. Can I date Paddle?

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emir G. | CEO of Viere, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Where do I begin? Paddle has allowed me to reach customers from countries I never could before. It has a very good design, great API features, smooth checkout process and friendly staff that are willing to go the extra mile to help you with any questions you have. If paddle was a lady, I would definitely go out on a date with her because I think I'm in love with this service. Lol (Dear Paddle, if you are reading this; Please don't change anything. Your system is perfect and we are loving it)

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Nothing, nada. I don't remember a single thing that I disslike about Paddle.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

If you're serious about selling online, wether you're selling your digital or physical goods and are looking for a payment processor that is very user friendly and easy to use; Ta-da! You just found it. Paddle!

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payments from multiple countries. Great API customisation. Less headache.

  ### 43. Perfect payment solution for digital products

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Very easy to set up products, set pricing for different currencies (if required), include / exclude VAT from price.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Would like to be able to duplicate products as would save some time when setting up similar items. Would like to adjust the content of a 'bundle' after being created - additions as opposed to removing any items.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Paddle takes care of so many things (including sales tax etc) that it is an indespinsible help when selling.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Selling software, digital projects

  ### 44. Sounds good, I received my first payment

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kleyton A. | Gerente de websites, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 11, 2018

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I'm using Paddle only to sell license codes to my clients.
When a customer completes the purchase in Paddle, he receives a license code in his email that can be used in my software to release full access to my service.
This is my second month of use, I have already received my first payment and I continue to use this service.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Support takes too long to respond and sometimes does not respond.
There is no website validation process, so be careful before you start using the platform.
The rates are a bit high, but the service provided is good.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

I recommend that you read the entire Terms of Service and general rules before you start using the service
Ask the support if your product is allowed for sale or you will lose your money because there is no approval process before using the service.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped me reach customers from countries that I could not before.
I do not have to worry about setting the prices because of the different tax rates in each country, Paddle already does this automatically.
I'm enjoying Paddle and it's being a great service!

  ### 45. Smooth payment processing

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikko S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 17, 2018

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle has a sleek interface, robust API, good documentation and helpful support staff. It does the job well, and feels like it's moving forward with new features and improvements to old features.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The user interface, while sleek, lacks some features. Batch editing products, for example, or moving more swiftly from product to product. The affiliate interface was pretty hopeless earlier, but has now been improved a lot to the point of being useful, so I'm sure these are not permanent issues.

Earlier I felt like an important customer and got more attention and support; now it seems Paddle has grown larger and doesn't care as much about individual customers.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle handles payments and VAT for me, and does that without issues. It's somewhat cheaper than my previous payment processor, and has a better interface and much better support.

  ### 46. I use paddle for one year

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 10, 2019

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

convenient payment system, convenient for users

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

No file protection function after the sale

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Cool system

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payment system, marketing system

  ### 47. No Payout From Paddle

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2018

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We are disappointed that paddle.com is not answering to our emails and payout is also delayed without any reason. Contacted several times but not even getting replies to our emails. We expect someone from paddle to contact us immediately and send our payout to us as soon as possible as we are losing faith in their service with every day passing.Payout reference # 11608

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

No payout to Vendors from last 20 days. Emails not answered on daily basis.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Talk to paddle.com first that they will send payout on timely manner or they will delay it. It is very frustrating for a vendor to not receive the money after putting lot of efforts. No body will consider paddle if they will keep on doing this for long.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Asking someone from paddle to read this and send our payouts in time without delays.

  ### 48. Refunded all the customers

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 29, 2018

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Simple and easy to set-up and integrate. Transaction fees are not too high. All information is available on the website. Works on all platforms.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

We integrated Paddle and started using it straight away. A few days later Paddle refunded all our customers and shut down our account. Paddle should seriously consider their on-boarding process to prevent merchants loosing out on hundreds like we did.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Their support team is awful and will not respond to you. Phone support is only for buyers. Merchant support can only be contacted by email and they won't respond to your emails.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payment processing

  ### 49. Fraud Company

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2018

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Approval was to fast and easy but never knew they gonna turn like this ...
scam alert

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Payout and paddle will never answer your email when they found out it was there mistake. i have all the proof if somebody wanna look do email me on tekkarmahelp@gmail.com.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Please do not use paddle otherwise you will end up losing your hard earned money.
better go with other companies like FastSpring.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have used the paddle the first payout was on time but when it comes to the big amount they had suspended the account for no reason and held my money for over 6 months and finally when it comes to releasing the funds they end up sending in some unknown company account which was kind of no sense thing for me. paddle had my account details on which they have transferred the funds the first time then how come they end up transferring the funds to the unknown account. the best part is they will never respond back to your email when they found it was there own mistake. So Guys be please be aware do not use this cheap company they will surely eat your hard earned money.

  ### 50. Glad my customers can have easy checkout process now

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxim A. | Mac Software Developer, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2017

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I was looking for a streamlined checkout experience to sell my software products with. Paddle has pretty nice checkout steps and they give a promise of constantly iterating it and improving conversion rates. That’s less guesswork for me.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I am yet to find something to complain about.

**Recommendations to others considering Paddle:**

Initial product setup is easy and their support was responsive, so there’s no harm in trying it out.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I’ve been selling my own side-projects as shareware software for over decade. Several companies I’ve used in the past for processing orders still seem to be stuck in 2000s. I’m talking both about what customers have to go through and my use of their control panels/dashboards/reports as a developer. Paddle keeps up on both of these fronts. Also pricing is clear and they have well documented and evolving APIs.
