## Paddle Reviews
 ### 1. Simple integration, clear documentation, and responsive customer support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** William S. | Développeur Fullstack, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Very simple to integrate and set up. The solution comes with complete and very clear documentation. I have dealt with the customer service of the solution several times via their online chat in the dashboard for various elements that I hadn't necessarily understood well: they have always been able to meet my expectations.

We use Paddle Billing very regularly to manage our monetary transactions.

We particularly appreciate the fact that Paddle automatically handles the taxes (VAT) to be applied to customers based on their country.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

We have had difficulties in properly customizing the customer experience through the various checkouts provided: notably the overlay checkout, which is not really customizable (apart from the text color). Similarly, some points are relatively opaque (such as the automatic reactivation of a subscription after a payment failure and then regularization, for example).

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to integrate a simple, efficient, and no upfront cost payment platform into our solution. Paddle was able to meet our expectations with its turnkey solution. Bonus points for the automatic tax calculation, the responsiveness of customer support, and the simplicity of its integration.

 ### 2. Comprehensive Tax Handling, But Lacks Subscription Flexibility

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teslemetry A.

**Reviewed Date:** February 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I like that Paddle handles all global tax obligations and payment processing for Teslemetry.com. The integration with Profitwell metrics provides valuable insights into my monthly recurring revenue, cashflow, and trial conversion, which are really helpful. I appreciate how Paddle Retain helps lower my churn by adding an integrated cancellation flow and following up on delinquent payments. Setting up Paddle was easy enough, and the sandbox made testing simple. I've integrated the Paddle.JS SDK into my website and Paddle Node SDK into my backend service, which makes the process smoother.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The structure of subscriptions is less flexible than Stripe, and I often have to design my products around Paddle rather than the other way around. Lemon Squeezy is more capable but also more expensive.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle handles all global tax obligations and payment processing. The integration with Profitwell provides insights into my customers and cashflow, and Paddle Retain reduces my churn with cancellation flow and follows up on payments.

 ### 3. Streamlined Payments & Reporting, Needs Faster Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wesley S.

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I use Paddle to manage payments and subscriptions for my software product. It handles billing, invoicing, and tax compliance for customers in different countries, which makes selling internationally much easier without having to deal with local tax rules ourselves. Paddle solves several payment and reporting issues I faced with other providers. With Paddle, payouts are more consistent, reporting is easier and cleaner, and it's easier to understand fees, taxes, and final amounts, which reduces back-and-forth questions and errors on the platform. What I like most about Paddle is that it takes care of the complex parts of payments, especially taxes and compliance, while still being easy to use. The payout and reporting dashboards are clear, which makes it much easier to understand where the money is going and avoid confusion. It saves a lot of time compared to managing multiple tools or providers. The initial setup was straightforward and reasonably easy, with clear steps to connect our product and payment settings.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Some things could be improved. Payout timing can feel a bit slow at times, and there's not always a lot of flexibility around when funds are released. Customization options for certain billing or checkout details are also somewhat limited. In a few cases, getting very specific answers from support took longer than expected especially for more detailed payout or reporting questions.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paddle to manage international payments and subscriptions, simplifying billing, invoicing, and tax compliance. It solves my payout and reporting issues, providing consistent and clear financial insights, saving me time and reducing errors.

 ### 4. Exceptional Support and Seamless Transactions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** surya s. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I use Paddle for money transactions and I appreciate that it's a Merchant of Record (MOR) because it handles taxes itself, which saves me from going elsewhere. I also find Paddle's documentation with AI features very helpful, and its site is very easy to use. What I like most about Paddle is its customer support, which is incredibly awesome with fast responses and detailed guidance. Additionally, I'm impressed by its robust API and the fast and reliable webhooks.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

1) Its AI needs to be trained more on its Documentation.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paddle for transactions and it's an MOR, handling taxes itself. It aids in filing income tax returns and has a robust API with reliable webhooks.

 ### 5. New businesses need not apply — undisclosed requirements waste your time

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The merchant of record concept is valuable in theory — handling global tax compliance, VAT, and payment processing in one platform is exactly what SaaS founders need. The documentation and API design also appear solid.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Undisclosed approval requirements that make it impossible for new businesses to get approved. After a week in their onboarding process — fixing my refund policy within 14 minutes of their request, answering a detailed questionnaire — they rejected me because I don't have 3 months of payment processing history. This requirement is nowhere on their website, not in their help docs, not during signup. You can't get processing history without a processor, and they won't be your processor without history. Classic catch-22 that wastes founders' time.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It isn't. I attempted to use Paddle as my merchant of record for a new B2B SaaS launch. Despite having everything in order — registered company, GDPR-compliant policies, DPA, clear refund terms, instant digital delivery — they rejected my application for not having prior payment processing history. They don't disclose this requirement anywhere, so I wasted over a week in their approval process before being told I never qualified. Ended up using Lemon Squeezy instead, which approved me the same day.

 ### 6. Flexible Payment Solution with Room for Improvement in Analytics

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tomer G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I find Paddle to be the best payment solution for our Israeli company. Their new product feels better and more flexible, and we really like it overall. We value their API and webhooks integration, as it makes it easy to plug Paddle into our app. While it takes time initially (like any other payment solution), setting it up is quite easy.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The main thing that doesn't work for us with Paddle is the analytics part. Today they offer ProfitWell, which is very rudimentary, which in many cases doesn't address metrics, integrations, or calculations we need.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Paddle for charging customers, calculating taxes, managing subscriptions, invoicing, and handling upsells.

 ### 7. Easy to use and priced fairly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frank M. | VP Technology, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I recently switched to Paddle after my previous provider started charging a hefty monthly fee with almost no warning. I found the changeover to Paddle to be easy (I had to modify my WP payment plugin). Paddle only takes a commission on my sales; it is clearly stated and thus predictable.
Update: I contacted support for a programming issue and they quickly pointed out how to solve it.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The commission is a bit expensive on small transaction amounts.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using Paddle as my payment solution. They care of currency conversion and local sales tax. This is very important to me since I have customers all over the world.

**Official Response from Hayley Rodgers:**

> Thank you for your feedback! Regarding the cost, we understand that it may be higher than some other providers, but we believe that the value we offer with our all-in-one platform, including tax handling, risk management, and subscription management saves on cost. Please don't hesitate to contact us through support to discuss commissions.

 ### 8. Clean, visual dashboards that make subscription metrics easy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Great visuals and makes subscription metrics easy to understand. The dashboards are clean and simple, which helps quickly spot trends and insights. Efficient and friendly support, Edward has been especially helpful. Overall, it’s a very user-friendly tool for tracking revenue and growth.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Limited visibility into the underlying data. The export options could be better and provide more detailed data. It would also be helpful to more easily differentiate between different countries and segments, as the current reporting feels quite limited.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us monitor and forecast churn, as well as recover failed payments. This gives us better visibility into revenue retention and helps reduce lost revenue by automatically addressing payment failures.

 ### 9. Plug and Forget Payment Infrastructure for SaaS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We started using Paddle in mid-2021. The 5% fee seemed high at first but we went with them anyway. 4 years later? Best decision we made. We literally forget about payments because everything just works.

We have customers from all over the world and I never once had to think about VAT or tax stuff. Paddle handles all of that. Their support is great too - fast replies, actually helpful, and they help our customers directly when there are billing questions.

Their servers never went down on us. Payouts come on time every month, usually within a week after the 1st. When they acquired ProfitWell we got all these subscription analytics for free which was nice.
I've told other startup founders to use Paddle.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Managing addons in the old system was painful. Super manual process. They built Billing v2 which fixes this but we haven't migrated yet because it's a big change for us.

That's basically it.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a small bootstrapped team with customers in 60+ countries. Figuring out tax laws and invoicing rules for all those places? No way we could do that ourselves.

Paddle is the merchant of record so they handle disputes, chargebacks, refunds, taxes, everything. We just build the product and they deal with the billing side. Money shows up in our account every month. That's what I wanted and that's what we got.

 ### 10. Reliable Payments and Stellar Support for Global Sales

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle provides a reliable, hassle-free payment platform with excellent global coverage. Their system handles taxes, compliance, and subscription management smoothly, so I can focus on developing my products instead of dealing with financial administration. Their support team is responsive and helpful whenever I need assistance.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Overall, Paddle works very well for me, but the handling of discount codes in the web interface is quite limited. There is no support for discount code groups or for generating large batches of codes automatically, which would be very useful. I also suggested a new discount code type some time ago, but it hasn't been implemented yet. These are relatively small issues, but improving discount code management would make the platform even more efficient.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle takes care of all the complex parts of selling software globally: payment processing, VAT/GST handling, invoicing, compliance, and subscription management. This saves me a significant amount of time and lets me focus on developing my products instead of dealing with financial and administrative tasks. Their reliable checkout system and international coverage also help increase conversions and make it easier for customers worldwide to purchase my software.

 ### 11. Helpful and easy to use Payment service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tadeusz D. | Lead Architect / Sr Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

- Easy and clean to use with all the functionality needed
- Easy integration with an existing web site - much easier than I anticipated
- The sandbox option is a great help in testing the integration and payments
- The possibility to edit a customer invoice after the purchase (add company name, address, even VAT ID, which will automatically reimburse the customer with added VAT during the purchase)
- Friendly and helpful support - they have never let me down

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I wish the payment form would be able to gather company name and address or the customer

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Paddle I have everything automated as far as selling the product is considered. They issue invoices and handle all the taxes - that's a real burden off my chest. Thanks to Paddle Events (WebHooks especially) I was able to easily integrate the payment process with my workflows.

 ### 12. Seamless experience with Paddle and excellent account management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pavlo S. | Payment Product Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Our company has been working with Paddle for almost a year, and the overall experience has been outstanding. The platform makes it incredibly easy to handle payments, subscriptions, and compliance without having to manage the complexities ourselves. What truly stands out is the level of support we receive—our account manager, Jonathon Thorpe, has been exceptional. He regularly schedules calls with us, provides proactive guidance, and ensures that our questions are always answered quickly and thoroughly. This level of dedication has made the partnership feel smooth and reliable.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

There is nothing we dislike about Paddle. The platform has consistently met our expectations, and with the outstanding support from Jonathon Thorpe, we feel fully confident in continuing to scale our business with Paddle.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle helps us solve the complexity of handling global payments, tax compliance, and subscription management. Instead of integrating and maintaining multiple payment providers, tax systems, and invoicing tools, we are able to manage everything in one place. This saves our team significant time and resources, while also ensuring compliance in all the regions where we operate. As a result, we can focus more on building and improving our products, knowing that the operational and financial side is fully taken care of.

 ### 13. Paddle transformed the way I manage my business – accessible and easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan M. | Gestor e Cofundador, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle is extremely useful for complete payment and tax management, especially for use in my SaaS that operates globally. I use Paddle as a payment provider because it solves a major pain point we would have: accepting various payment methods and multiple currencies worldwide, in addition to collecting sales taxes.

With Paddle, we don't need to deal with the complexity of tax compliance in different countries, as the platform takes care of all that for us. Additionally, it offers a very intuitive dashboard, which makes it easy to track daily subscriptions, received amounts, cancellations, and important metrics. The integration of Paddle into my platform was also extremely quick and easy, in less than a week it was fully ready for use by my users.

I use Paddle every day to manage subscriptions and payments, and the experience has been excellent. It simplifies the delivery of subscriptions and ensures that customers have a fast and secure payment experience.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

It's not something I really dislike, but I believe Paddle could improve by offering customer service in Portuguese to enhance contact in the support chat, and the possibility of accepting payments via Pix. These improvements would be a great differentiator for companies operating in Brazil, making the experience even more practical and accessible for our customers.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When launching my SaaS, we would face great challenges in managing payments and dealing with tax collection in all the countries where we sell. Additionally, keeping track of subscriptions, cancellations, and metrics would be much more laborious without a centralized platform.

Paddle solves all these problems by taking care of global tax compliance, facilitating payment management, and offering clear and detailed reports. One of the most recent and valuable features is the abandoned cart recovery, which helps to recover users who did not complete the subscription, significantly increasing the chances of conversion.

 ### 14. Outstanding Support and Clear Communication Make All the Difference

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meredith G. | Customer Success Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Their customer support consistently delivers quick responses and solutions, maintaining a friendly and collaborative tone that I truly value, especially as a customer success manager myself. I also appreciate the clear communication about eligible partners and the rules for payments.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

This isn't an issue for me personally, but my clients have requested the ability to make changes to their subscription even while it is paused. They want to be able to adjust settings so that, when they resume, their current number of users is maintained.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle has enabled us to offer our clients a self-service option, allowing them to easily manage their plans in Dailybot and remain compliant with their respective country regulations. It also assists us in tracking revenue, receiving notifications about organizations in their grace period so we can identify potential risks, and even processing ad-hoc bills for clients who need more customized plans.

 ### 15. Effortless Subscription Management and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle makes it extremely easy to manage all of my team's subscriptions in one place. I like being able to look up customers extremely quickly, see relevant transaction details immediately, and make any necessary changes to the subscription with ease (cancelation, refunds, changing client details, etc.). Customer support is prompt and always helpful.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Very few downsides. On occasion, transactions get tied to a different email address than the one the user used to set up their account, and when that happens it can be hard to find their account or transaction in Paddle. Sometimes, it's inefficient to toggle back and forth between Paddle Classic and Paddle Billing.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Subscription management, including cancelations, upgrades, and customer refunds

 ### 16. Growing with Paddle has never been easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdullah A. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

- Easy testing & setup
- Intuitive design
- Constantly adding new payment methods & features
- Regular quality of life updates to pre-existing features
- Prompt customer support and direct addressing of any issue

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

- No support for Saudi local currency conversion for products
- Payment tax is be on the higher end

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Payment processing. When I was starting up my SaaS project, I had some difficulties with other providers in terms of enrolling, support response time and general integration process. But after signing up with Paddle, it was all a breeze, it was easy to enroll, verify, integrate, test and go live. Already running two businesses with Paddle and I rarely ever ran into any problems.

 ### 17. Customer Support and Partnerships Manager.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antoine D. | Customer support and partnership manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The simplicity and flexibility of using the platform. It is possible to do everything you want with the APIs. We are currently on Claiss, but the new Billing version really offers a whole new potential to the product.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

As a former Classic customer, I find that the transition to Billing feels like a mountain of changes to make. It really doesn't encourage us to upgrade to Billing.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The management of VAT, price adjustment according to countries, and the possibility of paying by invoice are important aspects for me.

 ### 18. Paddle Solved Most of Our Subscription and Payment Management Issues

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathália L. | Specialist in Payment Systems Management and Integration, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I really enjoy using Paddle. One of the things I like the most is their Retain system, which helps recover potential customers and encourages them to complete their subscriptions. The integration process with our platform was smooth and straightforward, making it easy to get started. Paddle also offers excellent subscription management features and supports a wide variety of payment methods, which is essential for serving customers globally. On top of that, their support team is highly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, always providing accurate solutions and guidance whenever needed. Overall, Paddle has made managing payments and subscriptions much easier and more reliable for our business.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

There’s nothing about Paddle that I didn’t like, just a few improvement points that I believe will eventually be implemented. I think it’s important to have the option to collect the user’s phone number before completing the subscription, which would help a lot with cart recovery through Retain. Another improvement that would be great is support for PIX payments, which is becoming an essential payment method in Brazil.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle is solving several important problems for my business, especially around subscription management and payment processing. With Paddle’s automated subscription management, I don’t need to worry about handling things manually. The system automatically notifies me when a customer starts a new subscription, cancels, or when a subscription ends. The Retain feature is also extremely valuable, helping recover abandoned carts and bringing potential customers back to complete their purchase.

Another huge benefit is the ability to accept payments in multiple currencies, making it much easier to sell globally without friction. Additionally, Paddle handles taxes and compliance automatically, allowing me to easily pass taxes to the customer, which simplifies my operations significantly. Overall, Paddle removes the complexity of subscription billing, payments, and taxes, so I can focus more on growing my business.

 ### 19. Paddle revolutionized the way I manage my payments.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ruan L. | CEO and website manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

What I like most about Paddle is how well it handles users who didn’t complete their subscription. They automatically send follow-up emails to help close the sale, which is incredibly useful.

I also love the ability to sell in multiple currencies and receive payments through various methods. The service is completely secure and the support team is always dedicated and attentive whenever I need help.

I’m extremely satisfied with Paddle!

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I honestly don’t have anything negative to say about Paddle, as I think the service is excellent.

Instead, I’d like to suggest a couple of improvements. It would be great to have the option to request the user’s phone number before they start the payment process. This could help increase cart recovery rates and allow us to follow up with users directly.

Also, it would be amazing to have Pix as a payment option, since it’s widely used in Brazil.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle solves my problem of managing subscriptions. With Paddle, I don’t have to worry about manually assigning subscriptions to users, chasing payments, or canceling access for users who didn’t pay or canceled. The subscription management system is incredibly helpful and saves me a lot of time.

It also allows me to sell in multiple currencies and accept various payment methods, which means I can sell both in my country and internationally without worrying about how the user will pay.

On top of that, Paddle gives me peace of mind by protecting me from fraudulent users trying to sign up. I truly appreciate the reliability and quality of their service.

 ### 20. Exceptional Support, Effortless Selling

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariful I.

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I love Paddle's exceptional support; whenever I reach out with a question, they always assist me promptly and effectively. What truly stands out is how they handle everything on my behalf, which significantly simplifies my tasks. Their setup process is remarkably easy, thanks to their clear explanations and guidance. Paddle has completely streamlined my experience in selling my course, making it an indispensable tool for me. Their comprehensive support and ease of use clearly demonstrate their commitment to customer satisfaction, which has earned my unwavering recommendation, as evident by me rating it a perfect 10 out of 10.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Nothing actually.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Paddle handles everything for selling my course, providing great support and simplifying my workload.

 ### 21. Outstanding Communication Sets Paddle Apart

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul S. | CMO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle's communication is simply the best - how they email you, all the calls, adding each other on Linkedin - that's something many other payment processors should learn from Paddle.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I don't like Paddle does not allow accepting payments for AI products. Nowadays many businesses are based on AI, especially image generation, and that's something Paddle prohibits.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle is solving the problem with accepting payment worldwide, and improving the technical acceptance rate (success rate) of incoming payments.

 ### 22. MoR for Bricsys

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sven L. | Director Commercial IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We use Paddle for our online store, worldwide on day to day base.
Our main focus was to fix payment issues we had overseas, our payment success rate in USA went from 60% to 98% with Paddle and in general the project was a success.
Technically we were guided properly during the implementation, API's were properly documented.
The fact that Paddle takes care of all tax related issues reduces the complexity on our end of selling our products worldwide.
Paddle has way more features than we use today, we plan on using more of their features in the future.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

When going live we faced some issues and in the beginning the level of support was not sufficient.
But to be fair Paddle has taken our complaints seriously and improved the quality of their support drastically.
It took some time but now we are at a level where we are happy with the support and I'm sure Paddle has learned from this experience.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Worldwide tax regulations and payment failures, reduces/limits the workload on our end drastically

 ### 23. Simplifies Tax Management but Needs Transparent Pricing

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jan B. | Founder

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I like that Paddle takes care of taxes and integrates multiple payment providers like PayPal, credit card, and more.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I don't like that they have recently increased their fees and sort of in an intransparent way. For example, they're charging for refunds and charging for currency conversions, which isn't quite communicated as clearly as it could be on their fees page. I also wish the customer portal was a bit more customizable/powerful.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle takes care of payments and manages VAT and sales tax, which is very helpful for me. It also integrates multiple payment providers like PayPal and credit cards.

 ### 24. Paddle is the Best Payment Management Platform for Those Seeking Simplicity and Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mateus N. | Front-end Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 10, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

What I like most about Paddle is how easy the platform is to use — the interface is intuitive and straightforward, which makes managing payments a breeze. The support team is fully capable and always ready to help or answer any questions promptly, which gives a lot of confidence. I also really appreciate the option to accept payments in multiple currencies, making it easier to sell globally. Another great feature is the ability to pass on payment taxes and fees to the customer, which helps keep costs transparent and manageable for the seller.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

In addition, it would be great if the platform were available in more languages, such as Portuguese (Brazil), to better serve a wider range of users.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle is solving several important problems related to online payment management. First, the payment recovery feature is essential — it helps recover sales that might have been lost due to transaction failures or cart abandonment, increasing revenue without extra effort from the seller. Additionally, subscription management is simple and efficient, allowing for easy setup of recurring plans and automated tracking of the customer lifecycle. Another great benefit is the variety of payment methods accepted by the platform, which makes it easier for customers to complete their purchases using their preferred method, boosting conversion rates and user satisfaction.

 ### 25. Efficient Service and Specialized Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan Lisboa G. | Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

What I like the most about Paddle is how easy it is to integrate with their checkout system. The setup was quick and straightforward, with great documentation and support along the way. I also really appreciate the ability to receive payments in multiple currencies, which makes it ideal for selling globally. Their team is knowledgeable and always ready to help — it feels like a truly professional and reliable partnership

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

One thing that could be improved is that the website is only available in English — having support for other languages would make the platform more accessible.
Also, it would be great if Paddle supported local payment methods like Pix, which is very popular in Brazil.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle is helping me manage subscriptions and handle recurring billing without having to build complex infrastructure. It takes care of taxes, invoicing, and compliance, which saves me a lot of time and effort.
Another major benefit is the ability to receive payments in multiple currencies, which makes it much easier to sell internationally and offer a smooth experience for customers around the world.

 ### 26. Amazing experience: fast support and efficient system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan G. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

What I like most about Paddle is the peace of mind it gives me. The platform is super easy to use — everything works efficiently and without complications. But above all, the support is amazing — whenever I needed help, I was assisted quickly, with a lot of care and kindness. You can really tell they care about their customers. That makes all the difference in my daily work and gives me confidence to keep using the service.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The only downside for me is that there’s no option to transfer funds directly in Brazilian Real (BRL). It would make things even more convenient, avoiding currency conversion fees and delays. Hopefully, this feature can be added in the future!

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle is solving one of the biggest challenges I had: managing subscriptions and payments in a simple and efficient way. Before, I had to deal with multiple tools and complicated processes, which took a lot of time. With Paddle, all of that is automated — from invoicing to payment management — which allows me to focus on my product and offer a better experience to my customers.

 ### 27. Our main payment processor

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We have been using Paddle as a main payment processor for about 5 years. Was attracted by the lower rates than our previous. It has worked great so far - no downtime and not to many user issues. Very comprehensive API which we used to link to our backend license generation system. The management portal is decent enough.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I would appreciate seeing more depth in the instant reporting available in the overview portal, particularly the ability to break down data by Country and Product. While the support provided is good, it sometimes takes several days to receive a response from an actual person rather than an AI.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's great to have a Merchant of Record, as it removes the burden of tax compliance, especially since we sell worldwide.

 ### 28. Global Sales Made Easy, But Support Response Times Need Improvement

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle makes it easy for me to sell software all over the world, in a way that makes sure that all regulatory requirements are met. The payment flow and order processing are top-notch, rock solid.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I pride myself on good and fast support. Paddle's support is often a bit slow to respond. This can create awkward situations where a customer needs a response and I am unable to provide it in a timely manner because I am blocked by something I need from Paddle.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a tiny business, it is infeasible to comply with regulations in all jurisdictions. Paddle takes this burden from me, for a fee that makes sense.

 ### 29. Works well for subscriptions, just a few UX details to improve

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adilie S. | founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle makes it super easy to manage subscriptions and payments globally. I didn’t have to worry about VAT or invoices, it’s all handled automatically. Integration with my app was smooth, and I love how professional the checkout process looks for users. And reactive and helpful Customer Support!

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Some features are a bit hidden or not super intuitive. For example, when I split the checkout into two steps (details + payment), the marketing consent checkbox didn’t show up at all, probably because my users’ info was prefilled. That made the recovery discount feature confusing to use. I later realized that using a single-page checkout shows everything properly. It would be great if Paddle gave a warning or guideline about this when setting things up.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle helps me sell subscriptions globally without having to worry about taxes, VAT compliance, or invoice formatting. As a small business owner, I really appreciate how much admin it takes off my shoulders. I also use the recovery feature to bring back lost payments, which is super useful, once I figured out how to properly configure it.

 ### 30. Dependable partner for small international businesses that don't want issues with tax compliance

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mathias V. | Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle is a Merchant Of Record which means as a small business I don't need to worry about tax compliance. Paddle also offers the necessary tools to integrate a payment system into your app that takes care of the heavy lifting so you don't not to rebuild the wheel. They also offer ProfitWell Metrics fully integrated and free of charge which offers a wealth of data about your subscription business.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Paddle retain is only partially available to Paddle Classic customers. I would have liked that the term optimization and cancellation wizard that tries to save a cancelling customer by using a survey and suggestion different plans or discounts are available on Classic too.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle takes care of tax compliance which can be areal burden on small international businesses. It allows us to focus on building a great product instead of re-inventing the wheel by building a payment module.

 ### 31. Responsive and Knowledgeable Team – Problem Solved Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Fast, knowledgeable support team, and special thanks to Babak, who provided the key fix we needed. Clear guidance that resolved a complex JWT integration issue. Transparent communication and step-by-step assistance. Very reliable platform for handling SaaS payments once configured correctly.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Documentation sometimes feels fragmented or unclear for advanced scenarios (e.g., JWT setup).
Initial troubleshooting required extra back-and-forth before finding the exact fix. Sandbox set up can be tricky.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying global payments: Paddle handles tax, compliance, and checkout so you don’t have to build from scratch. Seamless checkout integration: Once JWT issues were resolved, the flow worked smoothly and securely. Time savings: Their support accelerated implementation. Scalability: Having a ready-made billing solution ensures you can grow without worrying about payments infrastructure.

 ### 32. Global Coverage with Seamless End-to-End Transaction Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Global coverage and end to end management of the transaction

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Response time of the support representatives

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Billing and tax handling end to end

 ### 33. Effortless Invoicing Automation with Paddle

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mihaela Mariana M. | Project Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

One thing I really like about Paddle is that I don’t have to handle the invoicing side anymore — everything’s automated and taken care of for me.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Sometimes it takes a bit of time to get used to all the settings and dashboards.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle takes care of invoicing and payment management, which saves a lot of time and removes the need to handle billing manually. This allows me to focus more on our clients and on solving the technical challenges within our own system.

 ### 34. Super happy customer of 4+ years

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrzej B. | Co-CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

It's all you need if you sell software globally (we sell in almost 200 countries). Paddle just takes so many headaches off you...People that really care, super responsive, problem solving. We've had two other merchant of records in the past (and considered three other solutions), but Paddle just wins by a landslide..Product that is constantly developed. Everything based on experience from ~6,000 merchants. One can tell that they really know this area inside out. The integration we did back in 2021 was very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Small issues with their Metrics platform/ old Paddle Classic platform that are our idiosyncrasies/ edge cases that Paddle will hopefully fix when we go to their new Paddle Billing.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We simply don't thing of anything once the customer goes to checkout. All things, i.e. payments acceptance, dunning, recovery, mrr and revenue reporting, vat & sales tax compliance and remittance, adhering to local regulations in multiple jurisdictions/ states...it's all covered by Paddle. One would need to have an annual revenue of over $100m to justify building this kind of team and infrastructure internally.

 ### 35. Easy and efficient for online transactions for business owners

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aditya R. | Customer Support Agent, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The UI is clean and intuitive; you can do a lot on the platform, from handling transactions to adding discount codes and coupons.
It's easy to search for customers using the different search options available, and the support team is also very helpful in case you ever need additional help with anything on the platform.
I am a customer support agent and use the platform frequently. They also provide valuable insights on the analytical side for the revenue that is generated.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The only thing that I can come up with at the moment is sometimes it takes over 24 hours for the support team to reach back.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle makes it super easy for our company to manage the different subscribers on our platform. It can range from simple tasks like canceling subscriptions or refunds for customers, to providing valuable insights on our revenue stream.
It also provides and easy and intuitive UI and is easy to use. I was able to pick up working on this platform is just a few weeks.

 ### 36. Best billing solution for digital products

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We are a small business based in the UK and we sell online courses worldwide. We have put off selling our first course for a long time, due to the cost and complexity involved in complying will all the different tax and VAT rules in Europe and the rest of the world. That's until we discovered Paddle, which acts as a Merchant of Record and handles all of that red tape for you: They purchase your digital products in bulk and resell them, taking care of all the tax & VAT calculations and remittance. You can have these included in your product price or added on top, and you only have to input a single invoice and payment (two as we sell both in the UK and in the rest of the world). Paddle was extremely simple to set-up and implement, is fully secure, accepts most credit cards and Paypal, does refunds easily and handles subscriptions. The fees are very reasonable and most importantly its customer service is impeccable: quick, thorough and friendly. We wouldn't sell digital products without Paddle, and before changing anything sales related in our stack we check that it supports it. It's been a pleasure doing business with Paddle over the years and we highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

There is only one downside for us about Paddle, and it's that it can only sell online courses without a live element. Although we understand this limitation, most likely due to tax rules, we would love it if this could be added at some point. Apart from that, there is nothing we dislike about the service.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mentioned, what Paddle uniquely handles all the tax and VAT calculations and remittance, for worldwide compliance. As a small business, given the volume of products we sell, we wouldn't be able to handle that complexity with ever changing rules and the accounting costs involved, so basically if we are able to sell digital online courses today, it's thanks to Paddle. We explored many different options, and they all involved such bureaucratic headaches that we kept putting off our first launch until we found Paddle.

 ### 37. Modern Billing with Excellent UX and Insights

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dmytro N. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

I've been using Paddle for over 3 years and have really enjoyed the experience!

The Billing Dashboard is intuitive and incredibly useful. It includes ProfitWell Metrics, which makes subscription revenue reporting both accessible and insightful.

The customer billing experience is excellent as well, it supports a wide range of payment methods, and the recently introduced customer portal has significantly improved the user experience.

Their developer-first Billing API, along with a robust SDK, made integration one of the smoothest we've ever done.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

No complaints at all, we haven't faced any issues.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle solves the complexity of managing global SaaS billing, so we don't have to build and maintain payment orchestration ourselves.
It's a MOR platform, that means we avoid legal headaches around international sales.
Together with ProfitWell Metrics gives us insights into MRR, churn, LTV, and other key metrics without needing separate tool.

 ### 38. A great payments provider that offers Merchant of Records which is great for smaller companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Wojciech K. | Co-CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Merchant of Records service and ease of operations that it provides. Ease of use, a lot of customization options (their API is very good). The platform was super easy to implement and we actually saw an increase in conversion during the test period within a A/B test

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

You have to adjust your store logic to their API which sometimes can be tricky, but overall it's far better than what other providers offer,

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us it means we get a single invoice with all of our revenue and it simplifies our life with Tax Office a great deal.

 ### 39. A Reliable Payment Solution for Global Software Businesses

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dan B. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The integration with Paddle was super easy. Their developer docs are thorough.
They have built Paddle Billing from scratch, after learning many lessons from the previous product - Paddle Classic.
Paddle Billing cover a wide range of scenarios, and has a robust data model that you can adjust to your needs.
It allows storing custom data on the different entities, so integration with your own service is easy. For example, storing references to your own users, products or accounts.
They solve all Tax issues in any country, and as they are the merchant of record, I get a single payment every once in a while which is easy to manage.
Their business-facing UI is easy to use and manage your customers and products.
They also provide buyer-facing UI so you don't have to write all the checkout UI, and all other pieces of customers-facing ui.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Pricing is a little high (5%), but reasonable.
Their support always answer, but sometimes it takes a while - a day or 2.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my country I can't use Stripe. So this is the first problem that Paddle solved for me.
But after using them, I'm pretty glad that it came out like that because all of the benefits that I've mentioned.
They solve tax, and all of the complexities involved in subscription management. Including upgrades, downgrades, one-time purchases, usage-based billing, etc.

 ### 40. Great Support and Hassle-Free VAT but some Limitations

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

A support team available to help us and ensure that our clients' invoicing is going well

Also not have to worry about the VAT is helping a lot

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

Having only 3 currencies supported for bank transfer payments is not enough, hopefully some new will be added in 2026.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing the accounting for us to allow us doing business worldwide

 ### 41. Do not bother with VAT compliance anymore

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cyrille M. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

- The fact we don't have to manage the VAT recovery and compliance with each countries/states. For worldwide digital products (SaaS) growing like Iconosquare, it's a huge time-saving and avoid to hire a full-time accountant or multiple services to help us to manage VAT.
- The variety of currencies supported
- The newgen platform (API-first for developers) is fantastic and so easy to integrate (especially with Laravel Cashier)
- The support provided by the team

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

- Still few rooms of improvement to smooth the workflow of sales-led (vs. self-service) operations: quotes, manual invoices with custom prices, which are partially available in their API but not yet in their platform

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle helps us first to manage payments, but above all, to manage our VAT compliance all over the countries/states.
Thanks to the additional services, they also help us to optimize our churn by managing the delinquent churn and automatically take care of payment issues.

 ### 42. Amazing expereince

It focus me to on my business growth since VAT etc they manage . I can sell to world without getting worried about tax compliance

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

They could improve notification on email so that comes as formatted .

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It help me to grow in any countries without getting worried about tax compliance

 ### 43. Smooth experience with Paddle so far

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jean-Christophe U. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Signup and onboarding was a breeze. Website verification took a little while, but that's only because of the nature of my business.

I had a few customer support inquiries which were addressed promptly and accurately.

I used a 3rd party worpdress plugin to integrate Paddle Payments to my website, and integration was fairly easy with a very useful sandbox environment for testing.

Overall positive experience so far.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I am new on paddle with only a couple of test transactions, so I do not really have anything to complain about so far. Hopefully my initial first (good) impressions about Paddle do not fade over time.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

International tax compliance via a merchant of record are my primary reasons of choosing paddle as I am planning to sell my product internationally

 ### 44. Best of all MOR Platform (After tring dozens)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Abdul M. | Software Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Their costumer service and professionalism, i got many issues on the way and all were resolved in the best way possible. Loved their team behind and the product itself is so explanatory and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

For now nothing tried many other MORs but this is the best although you get issues on the way but their team is always there.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Global transactions without worrying about tax and other stuffs

 ### 45. Help me to inprove my bussiness

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fabio D. | Administrator and Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The most appreciated features of Paddle:
1)...courtesy
2)...availability
3)...professionalism
4)...technical support

With Paddle it's like being in a big family: the assistance is excellent, the tools are great and for any problem you may encounter they are always available to help you in a friendly and fast way, a truly fantastic experience.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

I have not found anything wrong, the only time I did not receive an immediate response to my email was because the person I had written to directly was on vacation, but I was told right away.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As MoR Paddle is a great ally, the billing process is also very simple end effective.

 ### 46. Integrated Checkout with paddle for my software

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhuvana . | Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The turnaround time for any help requested. They are willing to resolve issues and provide guidance. A sandbox environment is best for testing the features.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

ID Verification took quite a lot of time. Otherwise the experience with paddle is great

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle gives the auto checkout page which is highly helpful, so no need to create the whole checkout process ourself. We need to integrate with api's that paddle provides and we are good to go

 ### 47. Paddle makes things easy.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

The most helpful thing about Paddle is that in addition to processing the payments they also act as the MoR and for example handle the VAT / Sales taxes. Without a service like that it would very difficult for start-ups to scale their web sales internationally.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

There's really nothing I dislike. I hope more local payment methods for various markets will be introduced in a fast manner.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Paddle helps us to scale internationally with our web sales. If we had to list ourselves as a taxpayer in for example 15 different countries, it would probably be too much for a company of our size. When Paddle does that for us, it allows us to keep the focus on our product and on marketing.

 ### 48. One of Best MOR Currenlty Available

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fahad M. | Founder, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

One of things i really liked about the paddle is the separate full sandbox setup to fully test paddle integration before going live.it is really helpful in that aspect

Other thing is the ease of using the platform and responsive customer support team which they follow up until every query is answered

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

what i really dislike about the paddle is not able to send simple payment link within the paddle to the customer like stripe does, which is some what important feature for me

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being tasked with collecting and managing is huge hassle.

which paddle is solving efficiently with handling all taxes themselves making it easier for us to focus on our operations.

 ### 49. Take payments in any country without thinking about sales tax admin

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2022

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

We don't have to worry about VAT / Sales tax registration in any country.
Paddle Billing is now much better than Paddle Classic.
I like that it has Profitwell and Retain included, but there were some small data hiccups with the switch from Classic to Paddle.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

There are some scenarios in which you have to contact their support team and it can take some time for a response. It seems to be getting quicker though. (Like when a customer updates their address on old invoices and needs the regenerated.)
I'm not sure of their product direction regards building a comprehensive Customer Subscription Management Portal.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The billing and VAT management that comes with selling SaaS in different countries.

**Official Response from Bianca Dragan:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback.

Improving the developer resources and experience is a core focus area for us at the moment. You can expect to see some big changes to this over the course of 2023.

Thanks,
Paddle team

 ### 50. Paddle saved my business

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** hari l. | Founder & CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Paddle?**

Paddle is great, everything from customer support to onboarding was easy to use. They ensured we were up and running within a few days.

**What do you dislike about Paddle?**

The verification process can be improved, especially for non-English documents.

**What problems is Paddle solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped us integrate payment features where we have limited options. We could never have launched an international product if Paddle didn't exist.
