I use Oxylabs for multi-account setups and scraping. I find the proxies are very fast, actually faster than other providers, which keeps my APIs running very quickly. Oxylabs has been a great find for our business. We have numerous integrations for our AI powered SaaS tools, n8n pipelines, scrapers and scripts that demand anonymity on the Internet. Sometimes, latency feels high. But that may be a function of our network routing not being properly setup, we've made big networking changes (introduced Tailscale for an internal mesh network), and we think there are misconfigurations. Everythign still works, but for some specific workloads the cycle times are in the seconds verses 200-400ms off a proxy.... Probably more related to our Tailscale and how Docker is working with proxies than Oxy, but what would be helpful is more detailed routing analysis from the Oxy side.... And in one workload with high traffic, we were getting SSL Validation errors to a secure API which the Oxy dashboard correctly identified as 4xx errors, but we couldn't determine if the 4xx errors were because of volume of traffic (100s of requests/second during load testing) and Oxy was throwing those errors or if one of our VPN servers were rejecting it. I've had a lot of issues with Oxylabs. Their customer support is one of the worst experiences I've ever encountered. They say they'll respond to emails in 15 minutes, but my support request took hours to get a reply. It seems like they're not actually reading my emails because they keep asking me to repeat information I've already provided. Their products have been unreliable for me. I was using residential proxies to try to pull down html from retail sites and was constantly getting blocked by anti-bot measures. OxyLabs Web Scraping API is the perfect solution for this and has been great. I simply incorporate the WebScraping API information into my existing scripts and it handles fetching the HTML. The headless browsing and concurrent connections has increased the web scraping speed dramatically - what used to take hours now only takes minutes. The WebScraping API playground also makes it easy to test and troubleshoot specific sites to make sure the information required is returned, and OxyLabs support has been amazing at assisting with troublesome websites. I am a bit frustrated on the pricing model. With the WebScraping API, you get a certain amount of requests per month, but unused requests do NOT roll over. If you run out of requests on your current plan, you are either forced to upgrade to a higher plan or make a one time purchase for additional requests, but again these one time purchase requests do NOT roll over, so if you need more space within a few days of your subscription renewal, you either have to sit and wait or potentially waste money buying requests that will expire within days. Also, they do not allow you to purchase 1000 or 5000 extra products, you have to purchase at a minimum $50 worth of products, which again, is a waste when you lose them in a few days.
