**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

Simple and fast solution delivery and multi platforma integration in one place. The service Studio is very clean and present to use, and it is very well organized. The accelerators are awesome.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

Coming from an old-school development background, I initially found it a bit strange to work with a visual interface that handles most of the tasks for you. At first, I also had concerns about the security and reliability of the solutions being developed, especially since the process was so fast.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving complex workflows and including team test users to validate the solution before going live has been very effective. Lifetime manages all versions, and rolling back to a previous version is simple, requiring just one click.

  ### 43. Fast, Streamlined Workflow That Make Work Easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

How fast it is. It makes our way of working a lot easier and more streamlined.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

That I haven’t heard it earlier before ;)

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Reduces time. Which makes our work easier to maintain and overlook.

  ### 44. Powerful Tool for Building Outstanding, AI-Ready Apps Fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

A powerful tool for quickly developing outstanding apps that are ready for an AI-driven future.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

The downside is that the product’s price isn’t within reach for startups and early-stage companies.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rebuilding legacy systems in OutSystems.

  ### 45. Outsystems is good low code tool but its lack in many aspect in development.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit C. | Outsystems Developer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

This tool is especially convenient for those who prefer not to learn core web technologies such as HTML and JavaScript when building web apps.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

As the application grows larger and more complex, it tends to become sluggish and slow, which in turn makes web development even slower. This undermines the main advantage of rapid development that it is supposed to offer.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building web application for client.

  ### 46. Deliver high complexity projects using low code

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Carina M. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2025

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

What I like the most is that I don't have to deal with high-code normal problems, such as compiling and making sure all the tools needed for a project to work are properly configured. Using only programming logic I can implement a low complexity app or a very high complexity one.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

What I dislike the most is the lock-in to the tool and not existing NULLs in the DB without a very complex workaround.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The delivery speed is impressive, and I spend much less time dealing with code issues. The AI Mentor feature also helps keep technical debt to a minimum. Working with high-level code can sometimes make it easy to lose track of what's going on.

  ### 47. Easy to Use, but Needs Audit Trail, Roles, and Governance

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 03, 2026

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

easy use
Deployment process included in solution

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

Lack of:
-auditrail
-proper role model
-traceabilty of code changes (needed for validation)
- missing governance support build in

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

local problems and reducing use of paper

  ### 48. Fast Delivery with customer need in focus

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2017

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

This platform is easy to learn, and its visual interface makes reading code straightforward. It offers an aggressive time to market, allowing for rapid development. The process of building pages is designed with pixel-perfect precision and impressive speed. Additionally, there is a wide variety of community-contributed widgets that help accelerate development. Extending the platform is also simple.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

Nothing to add here since its very complete platform

**Recommendations to others considering OutSystems:**

Real low code software development tool. Very fast development Web and Mobile. I use it for more than 11 years for multiple projects around the world and i recommend to all parties to give it a try.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The customer misaligment. With this tool we can develop fast and inline with the customer in mind.

  ### 49. Fast Learning and Agile Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lucelia M. | Outsystems developer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about OutSystems?**

The ease of learning to work with the tool and the speed of software development.

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

Access to training is somewhat limited for various languages, it doesn't make learning impossible, but it makes it difficult.

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Constantly, new widgets and components are created that assist in development. The builders themselves are making the tool more robust for efficient development.

**Official Response from Erin Koerpel:**

> We're glad to hear that you find OutSystems easy to learn and that it helps speed up software development, Lucelia! Thanks for the 5-star review!

  ### 50. Visual, AI-Assisted Software Creation That Speeds Up Development

creating software visually and ai-assisted

**What do you dislike about OutSystems?**

I'm using O11 and there is still a lot of repeating work to which can be automated (scaffolding)

**What problems is OutSystems solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm very visually oriented so it speeds up my productivity
