**What do you like best about Outbound System?**

Explaining our technical product to others was daunting at first because any outside agents would not know how to properly communicate with others about what we do, so when we outsourced cold calling, it surprised us how quickly the team picked up the information! The majority of the booked calls go directly to our Calendly (we use Calendly to book appointments); therefore, the prospect already knows at least a little bit about our products/services when they come into the meeting, which helps to make it a much easier sales conversation since they already have some background knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Outbound System?**

There have been a few instances of no-shows after confirming their calls, but for the most part, there haven’t been many, and it takes up space on your salesperson's calendar, so it's frustrating for them to put in all of this work for someone not to show up.

**Recommendations to others considering Outbound System:**

If you have the chance to do cold calling, don't pass up on it. By far, cold calling has been our most successful sales channel!

**What problems is Outbound System solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business need for more demos was created by needing to expand without needing or wanting to employ another BDR team. Now that we have cold calling, our AEs have had week after week with full work weeks.

While many agencies just write generic outreach targeting a wide audience, the team we worked with took the time to learn about our target audience and their needs. By doing so, they were able to create very effective initial messaging for us. Brandon has been awesome to work with in creating a number of different test campaigns for us in order to help us learn about the best positioning for our product.

I would love to be able to test at least three different copies at the same time, currently we are only able to do one at a time which results in a longer timeline for learning about what is working best.

Be very detailed in the onboarding process to ensure that your agency understands who your target audience is. By providing thorough details on who your target audience is, the quality of the copy will improve significantly.

Because our previous outreach did not resonate with the target audience, we were unable to get a response from customers. Third agency we've used and the only one that actually delivered. The first two basically collected our money for months and we got almost nothing to show for it. These guys are different, I think because they actually care about whether the emails land instead of just sending as much as possible.

Ramp-up period felt long. First few weeks are all setup and warming and you don't see much happening. I get why it's necessary, especially now that I've seen the results, but in the moment it's hard not to get antsy especially when you've already been burned before.

If previous agencies failed you, don't write off outbound. Give these guys a chance, it's a totally different experience.

The people that respond want to talk to us.  We have tried other vendors in the past and the quality of leads was like day and night versus this vendor.  These are real prospects who want to know more about our company and service versus a person who has no idea why we contacted them.

The onboarding questionnaire was long and took awhile to complete, however, necessary.

Make a commitment about your Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) up front and you will get it right every time!

We have been almost exclusively relying on referrals to drive our business and referrals tend to slow down, leaving us scrambling, but now that we are using Outbound to bring in new conversations and adding new opportunities to our pipeline (weekly) it is great to have something constantly going through our pipeline.

We do cold email, LinkedIn, and cold calling through them and having it all going at once means prospects hear from us in a bunch of different ways. Email gives us warm responses to follow up on, and then LinkedIn plus calling put meetings right on the calendar. Jordan keeps it all coordinated which I appreciate because I would absolutely not want to manage three channels on my own.

LinkedIn took noticeably longer to ramp than email did. I get that it's just a slower platform but I wish they'd set that expectation more clearly upfront so I wasn't comparing the two channels in week three wondering why LinkedIn was behind.

If your budget allows for multiple channels, do it. They compound on each other.

The emails they write are surprisingly good, I've seen so much awful cold email over the years and theirs actually sounds like a human being wrote it. I think that's the main reason our response rates have been strong. You can tell they put real thought into the messaging instead of just running some template.

First round of copy went too casual for our brand. We got there after a back and forth but I wish they'd asked more about tone during onboarding instead of us having to course correct.

Spend time on the onboarding call explaining your market, the more context they have the better the emails turn out.

We tried running cold email ourselves for over a year and could never get the deliverability right, half our stuff was landing in spam and we had no idea how to fix it. Outbound System took over and within a few weeks people were actually responding to our emails. Like real responses from real people who wanted to talk.

First month was honestly kind of painful because everything is ramping up and you're just waiting. They tell you to expect that but when you're eager to see results it tests your patience.

Give it at least two or three months before you judge it, it builds over time.

Third agency we tried and the first one where results actually showed up. The other two basically took our money for months and produced nothing. I think what's different here is they actually know what they're doing on the deliverability side instead of just blasting volume and hoping.

Took about a month before things really kicked in. After two failed agencies I was checking the inbox every day expecting to be disappointed again so the ramp period was stressful even though it turned out fine.

Deliverability. We tried cold email on our own and our stuff was going to spam, we had zero clue what we were doing wrong. They clearly know the technical side inside out because our response rates now are so much better than anything we managed ourselves.

Amazing Experience but The initial sequences needed a round of revisions before the tone felt right. Not a huge deal but I expected the first draft to be closer to what we wanted.

We added LinkedIn kind of as an experiment and it ended up being one of our better channels. We have four team members' profiles running through them with the AI appointment setter booking meetings and the volume of conversations it creates is legit impressive for something we weren't even sure about initially.

Connection acceptance rates swing a lot week to week on LinkedIn. Could just be the platform but it makes the results feel a bit unpredictable even though it averages out over time.

If you've got a few team members whose profiles could be running outreach, the LinkedIn service is worth adding.

Cold emailing and calling work great for us as they're totally automated. Warm leads come through email, where we follow-up and set up meetings directly from calls. We touch base every couple of weeks at most.

Nothing comes to mind, because everything is a fine and perfect experience.

This is a fair option if you don't want to hire/coordinate a true in-house team at this time.

Volume goes up and down week to week. Some weeks you get a bunch of responses and other weeks it's quiet. Averages out but the inconsistency can mess with your head if you're watching it closely.

Before working with Outbound System, it was very difficult to create a consistent stream of leads and partnerships for my online shop. The way Outbound System runs the complete outbound process in such a professional manner is fantastic! We had an SDR who left and instead of going through hiring again we tried Outbound System. The output has been better honestly, more consistent and I don't have to manage anyone or deal with ramp time and training and all the stuff that comes with having a person in that seat.

I wanted more input on the email copy early on and had to push for it. They've gotten better about collaborating since I raised it but I shouldn't have had to ask.

The Outbound System removes the uncertainty from finding qualified leads. Unlike several other systems I attempted as said they provide automation that burned my domain and cost me more than they provide or even helped, this system is managed professionally so after I approve the copy or messaging, and I could manage the reply to those interested in contacting me, the quality of the leads have been the best that I have experienced with any system to date.

The setup process took much longer than I had expected; however, I now know how important it was to prepare my system for success with consistent results.

It's very important to be patient and remember that you will not see results overnight. After getting the entire set-up completed and bringing in leads, these two things alone will help you achieve what you have wanted to accomplish by using an outbound leads service without wasting additional money or time with other lead-generating services that provide very little and promise you much.

Until I was able to get set up with the Outbound system, my lead pipeline was inconsistent, and I was running into difficulties with all the other systems I had tried that did not function as advertised.

What I like most is that my entire outbound strategy will be managed by experts who truly know how to get things done. Before this, I had attempted several automated solutions; however, I consistently had issues with deliverability including being marked as spam when sending emails. The technical aspects of the Outbound System help alleviate these concerns, allowing me to focus on approving messages and responding to prospects who express interest in our offerings, saving me significant time.

Although the on boarding process took longer than initially anticipated, I can honestly say that after reviewing everything from start to finish, I now know that properly setting everything up is critical to achieving positive results.

I have tried other tools and agencies before with high fees, but nothing ever worked for me, and I don't think the leads they provided qualified for me to use (no leads ended up in my spam folder, I burned through too many domains, too many failures/too many attempts), and I was left frustrated. With the Outbound System, with a person who truly understands cold outreach managing everything, I just have to approve their messages and respond to the leads coming in. The leads I receive are actually qualified; therefore, my cold calling has improved, and I am closing at a better percentage.

The only negative is that it took approximately two weeks to set everything up the way they wanted. I wanted to get started immediately, but after going through the process, I can now see how difficult it is to get everything configured to run correctly. After you have your account setup everything just runs smoothly.

The immediate outcome is unrealistic; it will be three weeks before getting the system tweaked and working. Once set up, however, the system will become predictable and dependable. We're sending a relatively small number of emails (8000) to a segment of customers that closely resembles our highest-performing customers, rather than sending a large number of random emails, as most SaaS companies do. The results have been significant for us. I have also been able to reach out directly to someone by phone when I needed additional support, which I have not found with other companies in the SaaS space.

Honestly, the price and domain reputation features. I never had to worry about my messages going to spam and never being seen. Outbound ensures your emails hit people where they see them - their primary inbox. I feel like 99% of other providers fail because they can push volume, but the mass majority is going to spam. All this at their price point is unbeatable.

There are some things to learn as you use the platform. Do not expect your entire lead list to be 100% accurate, especially if you are using Apollo to target very particular contacts. Otherwise, it's just like any other marketing tool - there are some nuances, but it's easy to use and figure out.

Do your due diligence by comparing other cold email platforms. I spent days comparing options before deciding on Outbound. They have an excellent reputation for a reason.

Each lead is carefully verified to ensure you're only spending time where it counts. We're able to send 10,000 emails a month to 5,000 verified leads and easily secure 10-20 high-intent responses each month. For the industries we were breaking into, this was truly impressive.
