**What do you like best about OroCommerce?**

I like that OroCommerce is deeply built for real B2B operations, not just a B2C platform with a few extra switches. It natively supports complex workflows like custom pricing tiers, customer-specific catalogs, quote management, and purchase order processing without messy workarounds. I appreciate its strong CRM and B2B customer account capabilities, which are crucial for personalized access and terms for our wholesale clients. Its ability to control exactly what each customer sees, quotes, and orders is critical for our business. I also value its tight integration with CRM capabilities, allowing us to track client interactions, quotes, previous orders, and preferences all in one place, making account management much more consistent and personal. Additionally, I find the platform highly customizable and it integrates well with our backend ERP and inventory tools, keeping everything aligned without manual data entry.

**What do you dislike about OroCommerce?**

One of the biggest pain points with OroCommerce is that it’s quite complex and heavy—which makes the initial setup, configuration, and daily admin much slower compared to simpler B2B platforms. Even basic tasks like updating product listings, adjusting pricing rules, or modifying workflows often require digging through multiple menus or technical settings, which can be frustrating for non-technical team members. The initial setup and onboarding are far too technical right now, with no real guided wizard for B2B essentials. We had to piece everything together from manuals and trial and error, which took weeks.

**What problems is OroCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use OroCommerce to manage B2B e-commerce in APAC, solving issues like custom pricing, customer catalogs, quote requests, and purchase orders. It integrates with our ERP and inventory systems, streamlining data consistency and eliminating inefficiencies common with B2C platforms.

**What do you like best about OroCommerce?**

What I really like about OroCommerce is how thoughtfully it’s built for the B2B space. Unlike most eCommerce platforms that try to repurpose B2C functionality, OroCommerce is designed from the ground up for real B2B needs — things like tiered account hierarchies, personalized price lists, quote workflows, and multi-organization management.

It’s packed with features, but what stands out to me is how flexible it is to implement and integrate. The open-source nature makes it easy to customize and connect with other systems like OroCRM or ERP solutions, without running into upgrade issues later on.

In terms of ease of use, it might feel feature-heavy at first, but once you spend a bit of time with it, the interface becomes quite intuitive. I use it frequently, and I’ve found that the workflow engine and role-based permissions make daily operations smoother and more aligned with real business processes.

The support from the Oro team and community is also solid — it’s reassuring to know that help and documentation are always available when you need them.

**What do you dislike about OroCommerce?**

If I had to point out one area for improvement, it would be the ease of onboarding for new users. Because OroCommerce offers such a wide range of powerful features and deep customization options, the initial setup and learning curve can feel a bit steep, especially for non-technical teams.

That said, once you get familiar with the platform, it’s incredibly rewarding — the depth of functionality really pays off in day-to-day use. I think the experience could be even better with more guided setup tools, interactive tutorials, or quick-start templates to make implementation smoother.

Other than that, I’ve had a positive experience with its integration capabilities and customer support — both are reliable and responsive. Overall, it’s a robust system that keeps improving with each release, and it’s clear the team behind it listens to feedback.

OroCommerce helps us manage complex B2B sales processes more efficiently — from handling custom pricing and multi-level account structures to managing quotes and approvals — all in one place. The elements are astonishing. Limitless client, various sellers, inbuilt crm installment and charge the executives all of component is important and great. It is superior to other open source stages for commercial center.

Easy to use user interface as well as fantastic customer service. The functionality is impressive. It has a built in workflow engine like I havent seen with other models. The design is extremely flexible based on needs.

The design is highly customizable which, if in the hands of someone who is not business or tech friendly, might be an obstacle. But they have the Demo to test out which is extremely helpful with this.

The most important thing about OroMarketplace is that it supports B2B trading on a medium to large scale. Moreover, it offers high flexibility and customisation, thus it gives full control of sales and clients.

The pricing is a bit on the higher side. Else, everything is fine. It does need some improvement in the UI.

What I like most about oromarketplace is that I could track the most important statistics (sales, my products, taxes, etc...) and everything is neatly ordered in columns which are very clearly displayed and organized.

**What do you dislike about OroCommerce?**

What I dislike most about oromarketplace is the customers' tab, when I have over 25 names it can get a little confusing to find who I want because the only organization tools I have are name, email, phone, business unit and created at. I wish there was a search bar so I could just search my customer.

OroMarketplace is solving my need for everything to be in one place. Now that everything is in one place it makes everything streamlined, I have my sales, customers, inventory, taxes and etc.. all in one place.

I'm not too fond of the higher rates because I want to start the business now. I can earn only through the website, and I have the best option to hire freelance instead of an e-commerce company.

No Dought I can not get many sales from the website for that I have to advertise my website so I can create the banner for an advertisement.

Easy to integrate.

**What do you like best about OroCommerce?**

OroCRM is one of its kind and consist of all the modules required for the management of customer and vendors. Its detailed record of database creation for every customer is beneficial for management decisions. It records all the communications done after data entering and can be distributed to sales teams for further follow-ups. It helps in the security of data and is powered by anti-spyware modules.

**What do you dislike about OroCommerce?**

User rights are pre-set, and the attributes, if needed to add as per the business requirements, are sometimes tricky. We need to remove extra fields and attributes during the first start. The type of data to enter in each field is also customized and should be updated before usage. However, every other feature is quite good.

**Recommendations to others considering OroCommerce:**

For small to mid-range organizations for managing valuable clients, their database, and their history of communications and purchases, OroCRM is the best tool available in the market. Its user interface is simple, and little training is required for usage. All the older data also can be imported with ease. REgular and customized notifications are also able to send to the customers automatically. The support team is also very good and provides the best solutions for queries.

**What problems is OroCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have to deal with customers daily, and there is a requirement of data that what discussion has been made with customers and which staff is managing the client. The follow-ups required are the primary work that needs to be done one time. With the help of Oro CRM, these issues are resolved, and all staff now has the list of clients and their history with them, which helps the team to connect with the customers accordingly. Auto notifications send to the customers enable them to be associated with our company.

The best feature what i like most is its inbuilt workflow functionality. Most of its predecessor didnot have that.

Several customization required the out of the box feature needs to be developed more to support functionality like case management etc.

You can try with this crm solution but there are more updated versions are available in the market.

Customer now a days more allign with the out of the box feature so the issue that i faced is its require more customization.

**What do you like best about OroCommerce?**

Easily connects to all types of business services.  Permission to access information from other systems such as e-commerce systems, email marketing or user support is possible and the possibility of having new business applications can be seen with the new features of this CRM that can be built and developed.  The model ensures that users' information, data and wishes are satisfied with the product and monitors their care.  Fox, good for me.

**What do you dislike about OroCommerce?**

Skills are required for the program.  Part of the process involves training staff to learn how to manage information and how to communicate with customers and expectations, as well as to resist change.  However, it may take time to encourage employees to agree to change and use applications as a tool for customer data, workflow, employee performance, and business growth.

**What problems is OroCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helped us a lot in designing and developing our workflow.  This tool provides the ability to define workflows to perform routine business processes.  Is it intended to increase employee productivity and information management.I really love it.

OroCommerce is flexible and scalable B2B platform that gives a lot of possibilities for merchants and developers working with it. So I would say it's a new word in the B2B eCommerce world.

**What do you dislike about OroCommerce?**

A bit high entry for developers, but if you know Symfony it's not an issue. However system is still complex and you need to have a good level as developer to customize, maintain and support it.

We were using OroCommerce to launch B2B stores for our clients.

Our whole experience with Oro - from discovery calls to product design to customer onboarding, and support - has been perfectly executed. The Oro team worked extremely hard to ensure our organization not only had any CRM but the CRM we needed.

**What do you dislike about OroCommerce?**

I dislike that sometimes does not do a good job of digital marketing because some functions are missing or have been implemented in a rudimentary way, campaign management is often tedious and not very modern what is usually little attractive to customers. 

**What problems is OroCommerce solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With the application of this software I have solved problems of management of clients of the Organization and potential clients, its greatest virtue is to offer me a large amount of statistical information, with which it facilitates the decision-making in business, capturing all interactions with the clients regardless of the channel.

A period of familiarization with the program is required, part of the process includes the training of the staff, so that they learn to use the information and interact with the clients and potential clients that together with the resistance to change, but it may be necessary to dedicate time to motivate staff to accept, adapt and use orocrm as a tool of benefit for clients, workflow, employee performance and the growth of the company

Remember that orocrm is designed for SMEs and available onlin, it is easy to use and has tools for marketing and sales. You can create custom reports and customer segmentation.
