Product Description

Oracle Managed File Transfer Cloud Service (Oracle MFT CS) enables secure file exchange and management between the cloud and both SaaS or on premise enterprise applications. Oracle Public Cloud provides the necessary cloud platform and infrastructure to provision your MFT cloud environment. Together, they protect against inadvertent access to unsecured files at every step in the end-to-end transfer of files. The MFT Console is easy to use especially for non-technical staff so you can leverage more resources to manage the transfer of files. The extensive reporting capabilities allow you to get quick status of a file transfer and resubmit it as required.

Its good middleware consisting of Service bus, BPEL, Oracle BPM layer. You can build SOA based architecture using SOA Suite 12c. Its mature proven middleware suite and support global standards of integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This lack of support for native rest and API first approach. You cant build services as native REST. There is future development happening now. Focus from Oracle is totally towards Oracle cloud. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

that its easy to learn and build integrations. Everytime i teach a new consultant results in a easy way to introduce new developers to the Oracle World. Its wunderfull. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

sometimes its hard to find developer errors . onece you get in to a integration like BPEL or MEDIATOR, the XSLT files help to transform data. But when you have an error, the test not work everytime, so its a hard path to find and correct the error. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing i dislike about SOA is that it is very heavy and expensive though it is feature enriched but for some customers a lightweight and less expensive products are required keeping budget in mind.

What do you like best about Oracle SOA Cloud Service, SOA Suite?

It's easy to use, with drag and drop to build out the BPEL process and SOA composites For staff who knows basic web services, OSB or BPM, it's not hard for them to pick up SOA. Our enterprise project has been using SOA suite for nearly 3 years now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle SOA Cloud Service, SOA Suite?

In early phase of SOA suite 11g, the REST adapter is not stable yet, so we had to build up an OSB component to handle the integration of rest enabled external systems. also now that we are moving to the OCI cloud, the OIC (integration cloud) there does not allow an easy migration from our existing SOA suite composites (150+ of them now), so that's another pain point there to assess before making any move.
