What I like best about Oracle Siebel CRM is its extensive functionality and flexibility. **What do you like best about Oracle Siebel?**

As someone who has worn both the user and Administrator hats for Oracle Siebel, its absolute greatest strenght is it's unmatched data integrity and robust architecture for complex, large-scale enterprise workflows.
From an administrative standpoint the data model is incredibly mature. Once you properly configure your Business Components and joins the system handles massive, concurrent transactional loads without breaking a sweet for users, the sheer dept of customization means that if your business has a highly niche,  multiple layered approval to fit it exactly the transition to the responsive Siebel Open UI was a massive leap forward finally freeing us from the shackles of internet Explorer and experience and streamline navigation paths.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

While Sible is incredibly powerful it demands a high level of governance and a structures approach to change management which can sometime slow down rapid agile deployments.

Because the architecture is so deeply integrated
applying updates or handling repository upgrades (IRM) requires rigorous regression testing to ensure complex configurations Don't break. it's definitely not a plug and play system it requires dedicated administrative ownership.
From a user experience standpoint, the out of the box interface can occasionally feel a bit dense and click-heavy compared to lighter.

**What problems is Oracle Siebel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralized Master Data Management: We utilized Sibel as our single source of truth for complex customer hierarchies ensuring that sales, service , and  Operations are looking at identical data.
Complex Order Management: It solves the nightmare of configuring highly complex multi-item product bundles with intricate dependencies and pricing rules that standard CRMs fail to handle.
High-Volume Batch Processing: Using Enterprise Integration Manager (EIM), we seamlessly ingest and reconcile millions of legacy records nightly,
maintaining data consistency across our entire enterprise ecosystem.

The initial setup was quite easy, and it was a smooth transition to Oracle Siebel.

I like Oracle Siebel's robust data centralization and highly specialized industry verticals. The 360-degree view of customer history is really helpful, ensuring that our sales and support teams always have complete context. Its ability to handle massive data volumes and automate complex, multi-step workflows with high reliability is a huge asset for our enterprise-level operations. I also appreciate its ability to smoothly integrate with external tools like telephone CTI and ERP systems. The user access security is excellent, and the built-in analytics dashboards make tracking team performance very easy.

The user interface (UI) feels quite outdated and is not very intuitive, which makes the learning curve steep for new users. Additionally, systems performance can be slow during high volume data processing and making custom modifications requires significant time and heavy development effort. The initial setup was highly complex and time-consuming, requiring a specialized technical team to configure it for our enterprise needs.

It isn’t the flashiest tool out there—but what it does well, it does very well. The UI feels dated compared to newer platforms, and it requires experienced admins to manage properly. But if your priority is control, scalability, and stability rather than speed and simplicity, Siebel is still a very serious contender.

I think Oracle Siebel just manages the full cycle well. It handles everything from the accounting pipeline, showing us all of our clients and talent, to providing tools and resources that make our sales more effective. I love that it gives us access to contact center agents whenever we have questions or need support. This is really helpful for discussing inquiries or support cases. Additionally, for our employees working out in the field, Oracle Siebel offers the opportunity to update or input customer information directly, which is great for keeping everything current.

Sometimes, if you're out in the field, there are concerns about being able to access data or information needed in the system. It seems to be an issue related to Wi-Fi or connectivity.

Siebel is an incredibly intuitive platform to use for customer accounts provide management. Using it to manage customers on a daily basis, the layout, customisation options and reporting features make managing customers data a breeze. Integrating with our customer base was simple, and so was the ease of implementing/training staff.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

Very rarely would the system have an issue where it would be unusable, but that would be the only problem.

**What problems is Oracle Siebel solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The customer information and visibility on customer interactions is fantastic, but the best part is easily the intuitive user interface. It makes the front line users life easier being able to simply navigate the customers details so they can focus on the conversation. Utilised for telecommunications customers, the tiered structure of account management makes managing customer requests a breeze, especially for families or businesses. Making changes at individual levels is incredibly simple, as well as making account level technical and billing/overarching changes.

As great as the product is, for a typical record keeping CRM it didnt feel like I was using that much of the product.

It is helping me track previous call, meeting, and email history easier. The performance of this program was great and provided great ROI for the pricing we were given. We didn't need to use support/onboarding when we had program. At the time of using the program, AI was not yet a thing.

I like that sometimes it works and most of the time the information is accurate.

**What do you dislike about Oracle Siebel?**

It is apparent that Oracle does not employ any UX developers. The software looks like it was a reject from the 1970s. It is so outdated, so complex, so cumbersome, so non-intuitive, so people unfriendly and buggy it is beyond comprehension today. I thought Oracle was a pretty large software company, but they do not hire competent programmers.  I have used this piece of garbage for over 3.5 years. The learning curve is about 18 months. Daily use is an exercise in frustration and a truly amazing amount of wasted time repeating steps. Going back and forth between screens and hunting for the information needed. It hangs and crashes frequently.  I have used various software over the years and consider myself reasonably tech-savvy and a quick learner. Many of my coworkers still find this extremely difficult to use after years of daily, painful exposure to this pathetic coding. Oracle should genuinely be ashamed of itself.

This is a combination of POS, CRM, and inventory management. It connects with Outlook and zip-whip. It is incredibly slow, always buggy, the error messages are incomprehensible and therefore completely unhelpful, and so freaking cumbersome to use. It requires constant back and forth to multiple screens to hunt for the information with no good way of collecting it into one place. The retail checkout process takes a ridiculously long time and is absurdly complicated. If grocery stores had to put up with this horrible level of efficiency, customers would revolt.

That it is possible to connect easily to other enterprise apps and databases. I like the tools interface as it is easy to use and quite flexible. Haven't had much experience with competitors so can't compare much, though.

It is kind of monolithic, and if you need to do something special or weird integration-eise, it can be difficult to get help. I would like to see the ability to reach a real person improved.

Oracle Siebel integrates very well with other enterprise platforms. Also, it brings many features that make this tool very efficient but are no longer being maintained or updated.

Its UI is outdated and boring. It's not easy to use. It consumes a lot of computing resources and is not as detailed as other sales CRMs. For me, it does not delivers good value for the price.
