I have been using Oracle Cloud for the past 3 years. The OCI Console (dashboard interface) is overly complicated for such simple tasks as DNS hosting. The OCI infrastructure is constantly under attack and targetted, with frequent outages and maintenance periods. Customer support is unreliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My development team can quickly deploy scalable node.js applications that have tremendous power and reliability. Creating a load balanced scalable application that has power is easy. We have a great deal of confidence in the Oracle infrastrucure and we appreciate the low maintenance requirements - it runs very well with very little downtime. One must be careful about "leaving the lights on". If one does not watch their developers, they can turn things on and rack up bills for things are not in use. One must also be careful about subscription access. Applications like Visual Builder and Oracle Content can be accessed in some places under a fixed bid model sold by one's applications team, or one can turn on these applications and incurr houorly billing charges. Oracle VM is far better than other competitors. It provides user friendly virtualisation enviroment and It can support high capacity datastores of SAN. My email communication has been greatly simplified with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Email Delivery, which I really appreciate. I dont have to worry about my emails getting misplaced or classified as spam because it is incredibly reliable. The user-friendly layout makes it easier for me to send and manage emails. Infrastructure for Oracle Cloud When dealing with a lot of emails, email delivery can be a little slow. The UI, in my opinion, may use some improvements to increase its functionality, such as the capability to enable particular Gmail settings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best parts about OCI are the support from the cloud solutions architects and the pricing. The hands on support is literally top notch.

The documentation is not up to snuff majority of the time. It is also not very user friendly compared to other offerings. For example I would like to be able to use the web UI or avoid the oci console ui but it is not possible a lot of the times.

I would also like a better search as the current version relies on OCID which isn't very user friendly. I want to be able to search across all regions. Also it is very hard to delete resources once added even if I do not use them anymore.

The main challenge i faced is that operating in a volumetric data environmnet to consumes a lot of time to take the backup of data and then reinstate it and also sometimes it will not meet the legal compliance Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Users find it bit over priced as compared to other Kubernetes offerings in the market.

2. Kubernetes itself can have a steep learning curve, and while OKE simplifies certain aspects, users still need to have a good understanding of Kubernetes concepts and best practices to effectively manage clusters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
