Being able to tailor a screen to be exactly what you need it to be is amazing. The system is also relatively lag-free if well maintained, and can process large amounts of data quite effectively, which is crucial in a manufacturing environment. Another point that reduced friction was the ease of exporting large amounts of data to CSV or excel in consistent layouts that allow rapid, repeatable reconciliations of on-hand to perpetual inventory. JDE is also a phenomenal software for ease of audit trail. If your organization is looking for the best way to quickly follow the numbers in a manufacturing environment, JDE is your best bet. Ease of JE posting in this software is also very well done when compared to alternative Oracle Applications such as fusion. **What do you dislike about Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne?** Not being able to add bookmarks after searching within FastPath is a huge downside, and makes onboarding more painful. Also a sticking point is the occasional obtuseness of positive and negative number affect on ledgers and rolls that will be affected by inputs. These are occasionally counter-intuitive. Application names can also be quite confusing. This software is best for a user that doesn't depend heavily on intuitive interfaces. With great utility comes great detail on many of the screens. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne:** I recommend having a high-skilled IT team. I am only able to use the software effectively because of the excellent support I receive whenever I'm not sure what's going on in the system, and a high-powered software troubleshooter is necessary even in enterprise-level applications. **What problems is Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a cost accountant, JDE allows us to combat common issues in the manufacturing pipeline quickly and effectively. The best way of the product was it was super easy to learn then features and also easy to master for the basic accountings. The product helps you and shows you where you are missing when creating journals or creating vendor/supplier/customer accounts. **What do you dislike about Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne?** The product saves all your work in an area and it doesn't go live unless you manually push them. Although the postings and creating journals are easy, the creation of a single payment run or a credit controlling report takes time and becomes more and more complicated, asking for lots of unnecessary information every time and if you fail to do so, it just creates an empty spreadsheet as an output and you cannot understand where it failed. **Recommendations to others considering Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne:** I can recommend Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to small/medium companies. **What problems is Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne solving and how is that benefiting you?** During my temporary assessment, as a team, we integrated Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with another software which was specially designed for the company needs. Clerks were entering data to the company software and at the beginning of the next day, both of the softwares were integrating and moving the data to Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. As a contrary, the project went alive well, tests were successful and the data moving were done in a perfect way. It realized that Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne worked fine with integration and I can say that it will work well with other softwares. ### 33. I also don't like how you can't jump to every tab. In order to get to certain pages, you need to click through every page. it is also very nit picky.
