What do you like best about Oracle Identity Management?

In my view, I think the security, reliability, ease of use and reduced operational expenses are the best factors not just for my org but for any business that would like to have this product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Identity Management?

For a new user, initially it will be little tough to get hands on and to understand this tool easily. But once you spend time with the tool, you will definitely love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This application is very easy to use, In my opinion this tool will reduce the overall Operation expenses. Best tool I would say in terms of great data analysis, helps in the root cause analysis, have an action plan. I will recommend to any business either a startup or a multinational company. What do you like best about Oracle Identity Management?

OIM provides various OOTB connectors. That makes faster integration with 3rd parties. Also it is very flexible for customizations. For example; Custom connectors can be developed and deployed, skin changes can be easyly done, end user menus can be easyly changed and custom workflows can be designed and deployed. What do you dislike about Oracle Identity Management?

OIM consists of lots of components. It hard for maintanence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

If you have large number of users, and looking for an enterprise solution, it is for you. Be careful about your certification and attestation requirements. It still does not have too much flexibility on it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Oracle Identity Management?

Its versatile easy to use, install configure and admin . Integrate easily with Custom and inbuilt Adapters. Very user friendly interfaces .

Support 3rd party LDAP also have OVD and Lots more... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Identity Management?

What problems is Oracle Identity Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

I solve all HRMS new hiring process provision with this product with oracle EBS HRMS module and OIM.

As soon as new employees is joining we create its user ID. OIM will automate all provision in AD, Exchange.etc.. same in case of Deprovisioning Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's very efficient tool to manage user and it's life cycle. Managing roles to user can be configured easy and organized way. Implementation for this tool is way easier than others tools like this. The deployment is pretty complicated and there are multiple sub-components that need to be installed and administrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have deployed OIM in 2 big companies for the management of the internal users, rights, delegation. The trusted source of data was the HR database and through OIM we were provisioning properly accounts and rights in more than 100 integrated applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
