There are many features that can be released with this tool, however, when I first started to learn how to administer this it wasn't too admin friendly since it requires a lot of BML and codes (about 3 years ago). As of today it has improved and starting to lean toward a much admin-friendly environment. There are lots of good features that comes with BigMachines that can help companies quote better. Too much codes and BML. We had a frequency of our server dropping once a week for couple months. Reported the issue many times, but the customer support engineers wasnt able to figure out what the issue that was causing the problem. This was quite a disturbance to our day-to-day work as our Sales reps are trying to send out as many quotes as possible. There is a reliability issue with this tool. I am working as an Oracle CPQ developer in a very esteemed organization. Currently Oracle CPQ market is also in Boom. Even salesforce tried to create/launch a software with same features (Salesforce CPQ) but still it has some flaws and customers are not willing to use that.
