"A very powerful ecommerce platform"
What do you like best about Oracle Commerce Cloud?

It allows a great personalization of the store since it uses technologies such as Knockout, RequireJS and LESS, if we combine this with the modularity that the platform possesses, we find a fairly powerful formula for your ecommerce.

They have great technical support through chat, although it takes a few days to respond, but they even call you and have video calls with you.

It has a good webhook service that allows you to easily integrate with other platforms such as ERP or Google Shopping, allows you to manage multiple stores at the same time in different currencies and in different languages, catalog management is easy and allows you to upload your entire catalog by API or by templates in xls. What do you dislike about Oracle Commerce Cloud?

One of the biggest problems that the platform has is that the documentation is too much and it is not correctly classified making it take hours to find the solution to a problem, you always have the support by chat, but usually they direct it to the documentation which is very confusing.

When you want to create a component from 0 it is quite difficult since the languages are technologies a little old and the platform does not have a large community that supports it, you usually find people who help you from India or USA but you do not always have easy to access forums Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Oracle's SaaS Commerce Product is Enterprise ready!"
What do you like best about Oracle Commerce Cloud?

The extensibility of the platfor is unrivaled. With a vast API and webhook library you can easily integrate with any 3rd party system, ERP/OMS/PIM/etc. The business user tooling is easy to use and enables the marketing and merchandising teams to grow sales without intervention of the IT teams to make marginal front-end changes. One of the most critical areas is the value of SaaS software and upgrades to features and functions. OCC allows customers to "accept" an upgrade, similar to accepting an upgrade to an iPhone. This allows business teams to use new technology quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Commerce Cloud?

Currently, there are a smaller sub-set of customers on the platform and while that is growing, sometimes it would be more beneficial to see large retailer customers on the platform before considering it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use Full-Stack product"
What do you like best about Oracle Commerce Cloud?

The Integration with Oracle's CX products. Other products such as Service Cloud or CQP are integrated with Oracle Commerce Cloud. Furthermore, the Oracle Marketing Cloud can be used as well. Backend integration can be done to many 3rd Party providers, by using the Integration Cloud.

Customization can easily be done by JavaScript development and WebHooks.

Many widgets are already out-of-the-box and on the existing marketplace it is easy the get new and prodcution proofed widgets, which also avoid reinventing the wheel. Also integrations with payment providers already exist, but it is easy to add providers. Legacy REST services can still be used and plugged into the existing landscape. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Commerce Cloud?

There is no integrated IDE, which makes the development process a bit more complicated. Custimizations need to be development outside of the Cloud System and then as a ZIP-File uploaded to the Developtment environment. Changes can be made here, but need to be backported into the IDE before they can be uploaded to the Staging and Production environment. This also means, that code versioning needs to be done outside of the Cloud solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
