I liked oracle's cloud platforms performace for this Business Inteligence purpose inorder to handle all business transaction process, PO, PR, Shipment tracking etc. It helped a lot in doing analysis with the business transaction to maintain a proper tracking of all transations and It provides reports as well to show up the analysis. There is nothing to dislike on this oracle cloud platform in my point of view. I felt nothing on performace lag on analysis and data base side as well. It includes poerfect DB configuration with Indexes to store and fetch the transational data for entire ERP system what we have configured on this cloud platform. Compared to BIP and VBCS, it gives more features to implement as a developer, and third-party applications can also be incorporated. Along with developer users can also build analysis reports as it's UI is user friendly no much technical knowledge is required for a simple analysis to build. Getting data from Fusion is a little hassle; currently we are using ATP (Autonomous Transaction Process) and Data sync to get the fusion data, using this ATP DB to build a custom query. There are other ways, but in our project we are following this process and we are yet to discover on the other options. ADW, BICC are there but for a beginner it's little complex. As my title states I think the ML embedded enrichment and preparation features in OAC are fantastic and very user friendly. I feel this will really increase user adoption of OAC in the coming months and years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The only downfall to OAC in my opinion is Oracle Support. I feel it takes quite some time to get answers and then sometimes when answers are provided they're not 100% relevant to the problem at hand Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In our organization, this is the main product we use to develop our global sales reports.

One of the most noteworthy features of OACS is that you can interact with Excel. In this way, you can give distinct remodeling within the data flow both in OACS before the export and in the already exported OACS excel report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In sales, sometimes we review past lost/won opportunities, so we do that based on the OACS generated reports. The software would only provide historical data for several years maximum of 5; in some cases, we need to bring even older data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The upsides of using Oracle Analytics Cloud are a desktop and browser version of authoring and publishing reports. Oracle Analytics Cloud also brings together robust and scalable cloud computing to run and connect either live or cache your datasets and optimize queries to run and return results. The built-in machine learning and AI functions within Oracle Cloud are up-and-coming, and they provide regular updates to those features to augment your analytics. The out-of-the-box visuals do leave more for the user to be desired. Query performance can sometimes get bogged down when connecting live, so I recommend optimizing the backend data queries/tables to ensure more performant querying to meet SLAs. Depending on you application of OBI, you may not have any other visibility to you data. You may not be able to find out how some data related to another and you can create a report that you think has all the details you need, but it comes up blank because the data really is not connected.
