Easy transition, ability to pull any data point from EPBCS models, immediately updates with data entry in EPBCS, and easily updates with dimension changes Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Often reach data retrieve maximums, would like to be able to pull back data in a pivot format, would like users to be able to add calcs on demand. HUGE: ability for users to see calc that created any particular data point. ALSO HUGE: very much dislike that we must schedule data transfer between cubes and to update dimensions. We were promised a product that would work seamlessly REAL TIME! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked the complicated support for property graphs Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Getting started with propert graphs is difficult because of the complexity of user interface Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much. I can log in. The performance is okay as long as you have the expectation that you can't have real time data and you have to bring everything to the OAC database (essbase, etc) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perfomormance. There is a bug for totals in reports. The OBIEE user interface is not great. Getting started takes for ever. Connecting to on prem databases in a hybrid envirnment is hard and it does not perform well. If a user logs in through a url that brings them to OBIEE, then logs out because of the odd bug that brings the reports down and then logs right back in they are are brough to DV and have to learn how to navigate. Some features are not yet available (on product roadmap) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the fact that I can connect to different data sources and build reports in one place. My end users then have to sign in to fewer products to get to dashboards and/or data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would enjoy it better if DataVisualization and OAC BI were accessible from the same home page. It's annoying to have to switch between different URLs when it is the same product. Another thing I dislike is the fact that I have to use Internet explorer on analysis's that is based on a essbase sourced subject area. If I use chrome the anlaysis will show up as blank. OAC has helped us create our executive reporting packages and has allowed for standardization. We have been able to connect different data sources to help build the needed reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes quite a bit of time to interface from ERP into OAC. It would be nice if the interface was quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For myself it's all about customization. I need to be able to build something better than someone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like restrictions and incompatible integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I liked the capability Oracle Analytics Cloud has when connecting to various data sources such as Oracle DB, SQL Server, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no current pitfalls that I have come across at the moment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OAC is compatible with my favorite EBS schema reporting tool, MeasureIT. It instantly creates a set of reports and dashboards right out of the box. It's a great asset that immediately adds value to all of my clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OAC is still catching up with some if the BICS and OBIEE features and functionality, but I love where it's headed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
