How it chooses the best parts of my videos and how every day they make more and more improvements to the platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's still some things you can't control or modify. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was fine a couple of months ago and now I see everyone using it on socials which is great for them but now there are more glitches and no customer serivce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tried messaging for help, tried asking mod help on discord, tried submitting multiple versions of clip as their troubleshoot page asks for and I'm just wasting credits and getting no help. They've now ignored their customers while still trying to grow and easily get money but ignore you once you have paid up subscription. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Opus Clip is not only easy to use but the choice of clips chosen by their AI blows away the competition...and I've tested them all. The ability to edit the clips by text and then publish them directly to social channels has also been a game changer for our workflow. Now, we can effortlessly put out more content to expand our reach online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When it first launched they didn't have the option that highlights the speaker when using it with content that had more than one person involved so it made some of the clips awkward. But now it's fixed so it automatically switches to the person talking so there isn't anything left for me to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love than you get content that you would spend hours searching in minutes. The engine is pretty good if you already plan ahead for it to search the content you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the features might need to be touched up but I can see changes already happening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think Opus Clip is really great! It is so easy to create and share short videos. The user interface is super intuitive, and the editing tools offer many possibilities for creating creative content. I find it especially convenient that you can share the clips directly on social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A disadvantage I have noticed is the limited selection of transition effects between the clips. It would be great if Opus Clip could expand the selection of transitions to further improve the visual quality of the created videos and offer users more creative possibilities. Opus is the next up application for saving time getting clips. The UI is super easy to navigate with great options depending on the length of clip you want, and has many options for different style of subtitles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the accuracy of what is being clipped isn't that useful, especially when it comes to gaming clips, but they also warn about the inaccuracy of their software and gaming clips so can't be overly upset about that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I conduct and record 15-20 minute interviews for podcasts and video. Opus Clip is a great time saver in identifying the best parts for Social media and SEO. The AI component identifies areas for SEO that I had overlooked. The UI is pretty good, the icons could be a more indicative of their function, but that will come. It's a big time saver for me. There are a few areas for emprovement, and I do not "dislike" these items, but they could be enhanced. The most obvious is the ability to link smoothly link two parts of a comment into one export. Currently there is a hard audio jump cut with some clicks being introduced that were not in the original audio.
The clip generated has text limits, I often want to include the next sentence in the editable content for export, but Opus only goes a short distance from the end of the AI Selected clip. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I appreciate most about OpusClip is its remarkable ease of use combined with powerful functionality. The interface is incredibly intuitive, allowing me to navigate and utilize its features effortlessly, regardless of the complexity of my tasks. It's designed to be user-friendly, so right from the start, I felt confident in my ability to integrate it into my workflow seamlessly.
The flexibility it offers is another aspect I find invaluable. OpusClip adapts to my needs, whether I'm compiling research, organizing project notes, or sharing information with colleagues. It's like having a digital assistant that understands exactly what I need and provides the tools to make it happen efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In the spirit of constructive feedback, while I deeply appreciate the myriad of features and the seamless experience OpusClip offers, I sometimes find myself wishing for more advanced customization options. The platform is incredibly user-friendly and efficient, which I absolutely love, but there are moments when I crave the ability to tailor certain functionalities or aesthetic elements more precisely to fit my unique workflow and personal preferences. Despite this, the overall utility and positive impact of OpusClip on my productivity and collaborative efforts far outweigh this minor longing for enhanced personalization, and it continues to be an indispensable tool in my daily endeavors. OpusClip stands out for its innovative use of AI to simplify the video editing process, making it accessible and efficient for users of all skill levels. Users appreciate its AI-driven curation for optimal clip selection and the virality score that predicts the engagement potential of content. The platform's user-friendly interface, multilingual support, and features such as caption translation and the ability to trim, extend, and remove filler words enhance its accessibility and usability. The broad range of use cases, from social media marketers and podcasters to educational content providers, showcases its versatility and ability to boost engagement and reach across various digital platforms. While OpusClip offers numerous advantages, it's not without its limitations. Some users may find it lacking in advanced editing features that professional editors seek, and the customization options in the free version are limited. There's also a noted dependency on AI, which might not always align with user preferences, and the effectiveness of the virality score can vary depending on the content. Opus makes the video clipping experience magical. Before, it would take me hours to scan through long videos and clip them, plus adding captions. I love the various templates Opus has, as well as the fact that it generates 10 different clips at once to choose from. Other features like their virality score make it easier to guess which videos are likely to perform the best. Would highly recommend to any creator, marketer, or anyone who needs to clip videos on a regular basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing! It's an amazing product, and they are shipping new features all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
