## Opus Training Reviews
 ### 1. A genuine win for frontline training and communication

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alicia N. | Chief Strategy Officer | Chief Talent Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

After researching multiple LMS options for our 15-location grooming franchise, Opus has been the right call on every dimension that mattered to me. The mobile-first design gives me a direct line to a frontline workforce that lives on their phones; courses deliver microlearning, task lists drive daily operational accountability, the resource library serves as an always-on knowledge base, and messaging has become our primary channel for building culture across locations. The admin-side AI tools have meaningfully cut my content development time, and the team-side AI search means my employees can self-serve answers in the moment instead of waiting on a manager. The Opus support team has been exceptionally responsive throughout our rollout, which has made a complex implementation feel manageable. The value relative to other platforms I evaluated isn't even close.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

The main tradeoff: The prebuilt content marketplace skews toward food service, so off-the-shelf content options are limited for other industries. For us this is minor since we need to tailor most content to our specific workforce anyway, but teams hoping to lean heavily on pre-built libraries should evaluate that fit carefully.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Opus, training lived in binders, communication relied on managers passing information down, and team members had no way to find answers on their own. Opus consolidated all of that into one mobile platform across our locations. We can now reach specific roles or locations directly, managers have visibility into completion, and team members can self-serve policy and procedure answers mid-shift.

 ### 2. Opus Really Does It All

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Georgia W. | Director of Training and Operation Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

It brings together mobile training, task management, a knowledge base, and AI search in a way that’s intuitive and easy to scale, even with a lean L&D team-- seriously, AskOpus the AI search) has changed the way we reference SOP's! We’ve been able to reduce onboarding time and improved guest satisfaction based on training being realistic while moving quickly and staying flexible. We were able to transfer our entire training program from paper to digital format due within weeks due to the speed and ease of Opus module builders. I’ve worked with other platforms before, but Opus stands out in how well it adapts as our needs evolve.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

This platform is constantly growing, which means there are lots of new updates rolling out monthly. That can be hard to keep up with, but they are supporting these updates with weekly newsletters which help capture small and bigger improvements.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Refresher training, such as retraining on a specific SOP that was covered in new hire training. The AI course builder allows us to quickly turn a SOP/Resource into a 3 minute course that acts like a pre-shift but feels more intentional and proves to work out better in the long run.

 ### 3. User-Friendly, Affordable LMS with Great Support and Powerful AI

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

Opus makes it extremely easy to create content from scratch or to leverage their integrated AI. The biggest upside for me is how user-friendly it is on the front end. It integrates with our HRIS platform (TriNet)—the integration process was very simple, and now any new hire’s job position and other profile information is automatically added.

We’re a relatively small company but have multiple locations, and the price per user is around $5/month, so it’s definitely affordable compared to other LMS systems. Onboarding was seamless, and as a team of one in Training, I was able to roll it out to the whole company within three weeks of onboarding.

Ongoing support has been great. We have a dedicated customer success rep who does regular check-ins and is readily available to jump on a call to troubleshoot or brainstorm. I use the platform daily, and the back-end experience is also very easy to navigate. I can pull reports and performance insights, and make changes that publish within seconds. New user onboarding only requires a smartphone and a phone number—no logins and no ever-forgotten password.

The intended audience is frontline workers that do not have regular access to a computer or desk and they are able to get training, find out information all with ease from their phone.

The integrated translation available in hundreds of different languages ensures the message and training is delivered in the best way a team member understands.

Their "Ask Opus" AI feature is one of my new favorites as it allows the team to get information on anything that lives on the platform just by asking- no need to scroll the library or wonder which folder that is in.

Whether you have a very large team or a smaller group Opus is an invaluable tool in your tech stack.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

There aren’t many downsides. The only thing I sometimes notice is that a few of the translations can be a little off. That said, they’re constantly improving the platform, so it’s not really a big issue.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opus has helped me create content in hours vs days/weeks.

There is consistent information and training across all locations. I can deploy courses and check-ins in seconds to the entire organization, or to specific groups or individuals.
It has become the quickest and most accurate reference guide for all team members, from hourly employees to managers. It shortened training by 3/4 shifts per position through timed courses and easily assigned information.

I was also able to shorten a New Store Opening by 3 days by using Opus with the new team.

 ### 4. Opus Training gives me time back

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica D. | Director of L&D, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, making it quick to learn. Staff members can progress at their own pace and choose times that suit their schedules. Quizzes, videos, and interactive modules help keep the learning process engaging and interesting. I also appreciate the ability to customize training modules to fit our brand, values, and procedures. Having our own customer care representative ensures that any issues or requests are addressed promptly. It is easy to add new content and roll out content to multiple locations or roles.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

I would appreciate having a date feature included in the reporting function.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Consistent updates, the addition of new features, and expanded platform integrations help enhance guest insights and lead to better content improvements.

**Official Response from Sara Delgado:**

> Thanks for your kind words! You've built a strong franchise program and you can see it in the results!

 ### 5. Easy to Use and Perfect for Frontline Training

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Restaurants | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

Opus has been a game changer for our training program. The platform is simple for frontline employees to use—everything is mobile-friendly, fast, and talkable, which makes training stick. I can build custom courses in minutes, track progress in real-time, and get feedback directly from my team. What I appreciate most is how it keeps training engaging without overwhelming staff. Compared to other LMS tools I’ve used, Opus feels modern and built for the restaurant industry. It’s helped me improve consistency across multiple locations and develop new leaders faster.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

Honestly, Opus has been a Godsend! Thanks Opus!

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opus is helping us solve the challenge of training a large, fast-moving frontline team consistently across multiple locations. Before, training was hard to track and often inconsistent, but now we can deliver clear, mobile-friendly lessons that everyone can complete on their own time. This has improved knowledge retention, sped up onboarding, and made it easier to hold our teams accountable. The biggest benefit is that our staff feel more confident in their roles, which directly improves guest experience and operational results.

**Official Response from Sara Delgado:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback! We're glad to hear that Opus Training has made a positive impact on your training program and has helped improve knowledge retention, onboarding, and staff confidence. We appreciate your support!

 ### 6. The best LMS for multi-unit restaurants!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

Opus Training allows us to deploy up-to-date training to multiple locations and multiple brands as needed. The end users access the training with no barriers, and get what they need to do their job the best of their ability. The end user is always changing, and Opus Training allows us to create training in ways the end users receive it best - be it digitally, visually, auditorily, and even allows downloads of SOPs if they need something printed out and tangible. With translation into the end users preferred language, we can guarantee that our training is being delivered correctly and effectively.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

There are little to no downsides to Opus Training. Every time we have brought up a suggestion or a 'want', the Opus Training team has always done their best to create or accommidate what we're trying to accomplish. They are a company that values our feedback and partners with us to get what we need in learning and development.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opus Training solves deployment to our multi-unit, multi-brand locations throughout the country in a language and style that our end users prefer. Opus Training is at the forefront of technology, so as technology evolves, they have implemented ways we can use it in the system so it benefits our teams.

 ### 7. Want THE Best LMS on the Market for your Team? This is BEST-IN CLASS!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jack W. | Director of Training and Development, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

Opus Training has completely transformed the way we approach team development across our restaurant group. From the very start, their customer service has been nothing short of exceptional—responsive, thoughtful, and truly invested in our success.

The platform itself is innovative, easy to use, and even fun, which is no small feat in the world of training tools. It has helped us solve a huge number of operational challenges, from onboarding to ongoing education, all while keeping our team engaged.

What’s most impressive is the across-the-board enthusiasm it’s generated—our managers love it, and our team members love it. When you find a tool that brings value at every level of the organization, you hold onto it. Opus is that tool.

Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

As an organization that uses Opus every single day, we have found little to no flaws in their software at all. Whenever an "opportunity" arises, a feature request is submitted, and I can say that in 2+ years of using Opus, none of our requests have gone unfulfilled.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I do not know Spanish, specifically Mexican Spanish. Opus automatically translates not only my content, but our videos as well. This was a HUGE win for us. In addition, the reporting modules are perfection! Running ANY kind of reporting is so easy and the ease of use makes it a crowd favorite for our managers on the operations level.

 ### 8. Engaging User Friendly Micro-Learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bronwyn H. | Training and Development Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

We’ve absolutely loved working with Opus! The platform is incredibly easy to use—both from an administrator/content creator perspective and for our team members engaging with the training. The courses are short, engaging, and do a great job of reinforcing comprehension.

Beyond the user-friendly platform, the Opus team has been fantastic. They’re responsive, kind, and always ready to help. Creating and managing content is seamless, and the reporting tools provide valuable insights that help us continuously improve our training.

Opus has been a game-changer for our learning experience, and we couldn’t be happier with the partnership!

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

The only drawback we've encountered with Opus is that it's primarily designed for mobile use. While this makes the platform incredibly accessible and intuitive for many users, it can present challenges in food service and manufacturing environments where phones aren’t allowed on the floor. We've also experienced some resistance from team members who are hesitant to use their personal devices for training. Although Opus is accessible via tablet or computer, the experience is most seamless on a personal phone, which may not always be practical for every team.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opus has solved several key challenges for us around training consistency, efficiency, and visibility. It allows us to deliver a consistent training experience to all team members, regardless of location, which is essential for maintaining our standards. The ability to quickly create and assign content has been a huge win for our team—especially with our monthly seasonal menu rollouts that require timely and accurate training across all shops.

The platform has also given us clear insight into training completion, helping us identify gaps and ensure accountability. Overall, Opus has helped us streamline our training process, improve consistency across teams, and our team members genuinely enjoy using it—which is a win all around.

 ### 9. Opus is a DREAM

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sara E. | Training and NRO Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

What I like best about Opus is the control I have over content. From creation of the content to the first roll out, it's easy to use and edit. The AI ability saves me so much time and effort with the small stuff that I'm able to dedicate more time to my bigger projects. The support I received from onboarding to launch to now has been fantastic and never wavered. If I have an issue, I'm able to talk to someone real in little to no time. They take my suggestions for new features seriously and have implemented at least 1 that I can think of right now. Integrating PayCor was incredibly easy as it links to the user's emails that they use in Opus. Overall, I have never been happier to switch from one platform to another. I use Opus everyday and will continue to use it to better my concept and my teams.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

I honestly can't think of anything. The issues I did have, have been resolved.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Accountability. The reporting feature is accurate and fantastic. It's helped us keep our trainees, managers, and district operators accountable to their training obligations.

 ### 15. Scalable, Mobile-First LMS That Grows With Your Company

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brea W. | Director of Training, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Opus Training?**

What I like best about Opus is how intuitive and mobile-friendly the platform is for both hourly employees and leadership teams. It allows us to build, launch, and track impactful training across 14 locations and our corporate and talent divisions with ease. We’ve used it for everything from new hire orientation to state compliance, safety, manager development, and SOP-based system training. I especially appreciate how quickly we can roll out updates or new training content and how accessible it is to our teams—no clunky logins or complicated steps. The Opus team is also incredibly responsive and collaborative, always working to improve the platform based on real operational needs.

**What do you dislike about Opus Training?**

There isn’t much to dislike, but if I had to name one thing, it’s that we’d love to see alcohol awareness included in their catalog of compliance training. That’s an important topic for our venues, and it would be helpful to have it available natively within the platform. That said, we know it’s something they’re actively working on, and we’re confident it will be added soon.

**What problems is Opus Training solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Opus is solving one of the biggest challenges in hospitality training: delivering consistent, effective training across a large, distributed workforce. With 14 locations and multiple departments—including corporate and talent—keeping training aligned, accessible, and up to date used to be time-consuming and fragmented.

Now, with Opus, we’re able to centralize our onboarding, compliance, safety, and manager development programs in one mobile-first platform. Our teams can access training on their phones without login barriers, and we can build and update content quickly, which is critical as we open new locations and adapt to changes in real time.

Another major benefit is how easily we can house and share SOPs and operational system "How to's" within Opus, giving frontline managers and staff immediate access to what they need. The result has been stronger compliance, faster onboarding, better preparedness across teams, and a huge time savings for our training department.
