What do you like best about Optro?

I appreciate the versatility of being able to use both the ops audit and soxhub features, as well as the ongoing introduction of new functionalities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Optro?

One aspect I find frustrating is that I can't edit the templates directly; instead, I have to clone them before making any changes. It's also inconvenient that certain features, like AI, are only available if I purchase additional modules. Furthermore, I wish I could select different types of workstream templates within the same project, but that's not currently possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Optro?

What I like best about AuditBoard is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. The interface makes it easy to navigate through complex audit processes, and everything from risk assessments to workflow tracking feels streamlined. I also really appreciate the way it centralizes documentation and provides real-time collaboration features—it cuts down on email back-and-forth and makes teamwork much more efficient. What do you dislike about Optro?

One thing I dislike about AuditBoard is that it can be a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users who aren’t familiar with audit platforms. The learning curve is noticeable, and while there are plenty of features, it sometimes feels like too many options are packed into one space. Additionally, the system can lag occasionally when handling larger datasets or complex workflows, which slows down productivity. What do you like best about Optro?

I like that AuditBoard is well-connected throughout the environment, and I like that AuditBoard has made some improvements over the years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Optro?

I dislike that AuditBoard is not very intuitive, especially for folks new to the tool. I find that there are multiple ways to get to the same place, which can be confusing and take quite a while to get used to compared to Wdesk. I also dislike that some of the default functionality cannot be customized, such as the automatic sample numbering within the SOX hub module for sample matrices/tables across T0, T1, T2, and so on. My team prefers to continue numbering across the test phases, which isn't possible in AuditBoard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A lot of the backbone and structure of the site doesn't seem intuitive, there seems to be quite a lot of technical debt that still needs to be worked through. This platform serves as a central hub where external auditors, internal auditors, and control owners can submit requests, follow up on them, and provide support. By consolidating these activities in one place, it helps prevent duplicate requests and avoids situations where someone might control access through email gatekeeping.
