**What do you like best about Optio Incentives?**

We began using Optio in 2020 to manage our incentive program, and the implementation process went smoothly. The Optio team provided strong support every step of the way. We greatly value how user-friendly the platform is, and the customer success team stands out for their excellence. They are always responsive, take responsibility, and consistently find solutions to our needs. Additionally, the team serves as a valuable sparring partner when we discuss different incentive models. Overall, the platform has made administration much easier for us.

**What do you dislike about Optio Incentives?**

While there may not be anything especially outstanding, I appreciate that the team consistently finds a solution whenever we require one.

**What problems is Optio Incentives solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Optio has significantly reduced the administrative burden of managing our option program, from granting options to handling exercises and keeping the cap table updated. I would not have been able to manage the process without it. The employee portal is extremely valuable, allowing employees to easily monitor their vesting, track value creation, and view their shareholdings.

**What do you like best about Optio Incentives?**

It is a great way to automate share option calcs and simulations and makes what can be a complex scheme accessible for all share option holders. They also are pretty much plug-and-play and the setup is easy and can be refined over time. Our contact person is very available and helpful and has a good response time.

**What do you dislike about Optio Incentives?**

The calcs are more 'black box' and it is harder to control check the exact calculations so you just need to trust the process. Parts of the value prop is connected to external providers, so you do need to understand how everything is connected.

**What problems is Optio Incentives solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Saves time with share option exercise windows and leaves us less dependant on single persons in the org. Solved non-Norwegian participant access through Custody bank solution.

**What do you like best about Optio Incentives?**

What stands out most about Optio is the exceptional customer support we have received throughout the entire process. From the initial implementation to ongoing usage, the Optio team has been consistently responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. Their support made it possible for us to implement the system in just a month, guided by a well-structured plan that kept everything on track. The integrations with our HR system and DocuSign were also straightforward to set up and have been running smoothly since go-live. We have now been using Optio for a few months and have already processed several grants. The combination of excellent customer support, smooth integrations, and a user-friendly experience has made our adoption of Optio a very positive one.

**What do you dislike about Optio Incentives?**

One limitation we have noticed is that the system is not yet as automated as we would like. Some features we would find useful are not yet available, which occasionally requires more manual effort. That said, the Optio team is very receptive to feedback and clearly committed to improving the platform. Their proactive approach gives us confidence that the system will continue to evolve in the right direction.

Optio is helping us streamline and centralise our equity management processes. The system offers a modern and user-friendly interface, smooth integrations with DocuSign and our HR system, and extra services helping our Financial Reporting team to simplify month-end reporting and ensure accuracy.

We started working with Optio in 2022, and they assisted us in transitioning from our previous vendor just before a vesting event. They managed the process expertly, enhancing our procedures and streamlining the administration of our programs. Additionally, they supported us in developing new programs, offering valuable expertise and advice not only on the process itself but also on current trends in the market. We have also found them to be very flexible and open to making changes in the portal to improve the user experience for both employees and administrators.

I haven't experienced anything negative so far. I only wish we had switched to Optio earlier.

Optio was able to transform our equity plans with new portals, precise information and create a good journey for our employees. We needed a remake and new energy around our share program and Optio took part in this from beginning to end. We are very happy about the team, the quality of the service and development with new features. Request from employees on technincal sides have declined significantly and underline the ease of use and service level.

We have been client and partner of Optio from the Optio's establishment. We have seen how the company develops according to our and other clients' needs and do not have anything we would like to address that Optio is not capable of delivering on.

The platform is configurable enough to fit our plan design and local requirements. What stands out is the Client Success team’s commitment to customer satisfaction, they are responsive, pragmatic, and take ownership of issues, always aiming to find the best solution. Continuous process improvements have also made administration smoother over time.

Some processes and documentation are still maturing, which can require extra clarification on complex scenarios. However, the team’s proactive approach and willingness to resolve issues quickly help mitigate this.

I like that the Optio Incentives portal is simple to use and I can download various reports with the data. I have enjoyed how client-focused the team are and they are very easy to contact via email and happy to make time for a video call.

I could have benefitted from more training sessions as the tool was implemented before I joined my employer, I appreciated the intro calls and follow ups though.

Don't see any downsides that I am aware of - after 6-8 years of collaboration.

* Their LTIP and Award Agreements creates values for the equity owner, either through options / shares, or through cash settlement.  
* Shareholders confirmation that the employee will remain with he company, strive to achieve equal company values, having the same agenda, and potentially limiting liquidity challenges.

Optio Incentives makes my option grant crystal clear. The dashboard shows exactly what’s vested, what’s upcoming, and what it all means in plain language. I love the clean timeline view for vesting, the easy-to-download statements, and the way documents (grant letters, plan rules) are neatly organized in one place.

Sometimes I wish optio could manage all my option plans, not just the one from my current company.

Before Optio, I constantly pinged people ops/finance for basic info (vesting status, documents, plan rules). Now it’s self-serve and obvious. It’s reduced confusion, improved transparency, and made it much easier to plan around vesting dates. I feel more confident about the value of my options and less anxious about missing something important.

Optio Incentives has been a real step up for how we manage our equity compensation plans. The automated tracking of grants and the ability to create complex vesting schedules has eliminated a significant amount of manual work for our finance and HR teams. The real-time, user-friendly portal for our employees provides them with complete transparency into their holdings, which has been a major factor increasing understanding of our plans. Its seamless integration with our existing with our HR platform and its compliance with international tax and accounting standards (we also use local GAAP and IFRS) have also been critical for our global operations.

**What do you dislike about Optio Incentives?**

While the core functionality is robust, setting up our most intricate, custom incentive plans initially required a significant time investment and close collaboration with the Optio support team (they have a strong team). We've also found that some of the advanced reporting features could be more flexible for ad-hoc analysis, which would be beneficial for our strategic financial planning (I'm told thisnon the roadmap). More extensive, self-service documentation for complex to several API integrations would also be a valuable addition (e.g. we use 7 HRIS).

The primary problem Optio Incentives is solving for us is the administrative overhead and potential for error associated with managing complex equity and incentive programs globally. Prior to implementation, our process was fragmented across multiple teams at the last provider and two platforms, leading to inconsistencies and people dependencies. By consolidating our incentive management onto a single platform, we have streamlined our operations, reduced administrative time, and ensured all stakeholders have a single source of truth.

The platform is intuitive and easy to use. The guidance and service from the team has been very impressive, they are always knowledgable and quick to respond.
After I had a few questions to the plan and my holdings, the client services team even called me back and offered to walk through the platform with me. Extremely professional and personal service.

My experience with Optio Incentives has been very positive. The Client Success team has consistently stood out with their responsiveness and genuine partnership mindset. Whenever we had questions or needed clarification, they were quick to step in with both practical support and thoughtful advisory input, which made us feel like more than just a client — it felt like a true collaboration.

One area I think could be improved is around best practices. At times we had to reach out to get details that might have been easier if shared upfront. That said, whenever we did ask, the team handled it quickly and helpfully.

Optio helps simplify and structure the often complex world of incentive programs. Instead of spending time on manual processes or trying to piece together scattered solutions, we’ve been able to rely on a platform and a team that streamline everything — from setup and management to reporting. For example, tasks that used to take me several hours of manual work each month are now handled in a fraction of the time, often within 20–30 minutes. That has taken a lot of friction out of the process for us.

I appreciate how centralized everything is. All Contracts, vesting schedules, and option grants are all stored and accessible within the portal. Everyone involved in the process is also very helpful with any questions that come up are is willing to set aside time to assist in anything we need.

Uploading files can be a bit of a hassle since the system only allows one document at a time. That said, once we fully transition to handling contracts directly through Optio, this won't be an issue.
