**What do you like best about OpenWrench?**

OpenWrench has been an excellent partner for our team. Their platform is highly collaborative, and the team has been very open to adding and adapting features to better meet our business needs. The OpenWrench staff provided strong support during onboarding, walking us through the system and offering detailed explanations of key features. The platform has significantly streamlined communication with Pet Valu stores and vendors, while also simplifying quotation reviews and invoice submissions. Additionally, the OpenWrench team is extremely responsive and attentive, making them easy and reliable to work with.

No dislikes currently, they are performing very well and meeting needs of the business.

**What do you like best about OpenWrench?**

I love how OpenWrench manages work orders and automatically sends them to vendors. The ability for vendors to accept orders and send quotes, estimates, and invoices directly is a huge plus for us. Being able to track and categorize work orders makes it easy to manage ongoing and consistent issues. I appreciate how easy it is to use OpenWrench and its mobile app is a handy tool. Working with our account manager has made the functionality of OpenWrench very easy to grasp, and she really made the setup process smooth. I believe OpenWrench is a strong program, especially for Facilities Maintenance.

**What do you dislike about OpenWrench?**

I think the Walkthrough feature could be worked on. It's very straightforward when you create it, but I've seen other vendors that make task management almost like a training program. Our walkthroughs are too sequenced; they don't let you perform the survey in the order you wish. Since our stores vary in size and site plans, this makes some managers complain about the lengthy walkthroughs. Also, sometimes walkthroughs are done but not submitted due to distractions. The Scorecard feature has been a little finicky, but that might be because we're pushing OpenWrench beyond its strong capabilities. I was unaware of any integrations, and I would be interested to know if there are any integrations with our financial system like QuickBooks for exporting invoices.

OpenWrench effectively manages work orders for our facilities maintenance, automatically sending them to vendors who can respond directly. It also tracks ongoing issues, categorizing them by vendors and problems, making it easier to see consistent issues over time.

**What do you like best about OpenWrench?**

I really like the note section in OpenWrench. It's great for communication within a work order, allowing me to interact with the facility team, the team at the store, and even the vendor in real time. We can all share updates, which saves us time and money by avoiding delays or misinterpretations. It's very direct and lets us evaluate situations more quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about OpenWrench?**

Yeah. I would like to see new work orders be a little more organized as far as the title and the heading and the body.

**What problems is OpenWrench solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use OpenWrench to solve communication problems, keeping the team aligned on projects. The note section is great for real-time updates with the facility team and vendors, saving time and money by reducing delays and misinterpretations.

**What do you like best about OpenWrench?**

What I like most about Open Wrench is being able to see all open repairs across multiple locations at the same time. I also appreciate that I can track each repair as it moves forward. It’s helpful that vendors can check in at locations, and that we’re able to track everything in one place.

**What do you dislike about OpenWrench?**

For work orders, it would be helpful if the actual work order could be color-coded, not just whether it’s open, deferred, or requested.

**What problems is OpenWrench solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us stay on track with all of our repairs. It’s also helping us stay more organized, and it allows us to see what’s going on and communicate more easily with our team and/or vendors.

**What do you like best about OpenWrench?**

I appreciate that OpenWrench is customizable, which allows us to tailor it to meet our specific needs for managing work orders across all of our facilities efficiently. The owners truly care about continuously enhancing the platform, which instills confidence that the service will keep improving in ways that benefit the users directly. I also value the control over user access, which ensures that we can manage who has the necessary permissions within the system. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy, which helped us get started without complications.

**What do you dislike about OpenWrench?**

I wish that when scheduling a work order, the lead tech and others would automatically populate based on the routing assignments. Currently, I have to manually select the techs every time for each location, which used to be automatic but stopped working, requiring me to choose the lead tech and others every time.

I use OpenWrench to log work orders, streamline communication across facilities, schedule maintenance, and track common issues, making facility management efficient.

**What do you like best about OpenWrench?**

I appreciate how this app allows me to communicate efficiently with my maintenance and repair team, whether the issue is urgent or not. I find it very useful to be able to enter model and serial numbers for each piece of equipment, as well as track expenses associated with them. The option to upload pictures, PDFs, and other important documents directly into the app is helpful, both for maintenance or repair tasks and for storing general information about each item. Additionally, customer support has been excellent—Stacy is always available and responds promptly whenever I need assistance.

**What do you dislike about OpenWrench?**

The app has experienced occasional outages. Although these were resolved promptly, they can still create problems.

**What problems is OpenWrench solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The app helps me keep up with ongoing issues in my facility. It automatically sends email notifications to the appropriate people, which streamlines our communication. In the future, we plan to use the app to monitor equipment expenses, making it easier to determine when replacements are needed.

I find OpenWrench very easy to use and user-friendly. It's quick and has very few glitches, which makes my life much easier.

One area that could be improved is the locations screen. It would be helpful if I could click on a work order directly from the location screen.

**What do you like best about OpenWrench?**

I've worked with various Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) of varying sizes and complexity in the past. I knew exactly what I wanted when I began my search for a CMMS that would be deployed in a multi-site retail start-up environment. I came across OpenWrench, introduced it to my team, and off we went. We have been using it for the last six years. I like this app as it allows for growth, flexibility, customization and the customer support has always been exceptional.

**What do you dislike about OpenWrench?**

The only thing I dislike about OpenWrench is that I didn't find it sooner to deploy than I did.

**What problems is OpenWrench solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows our end-users to submit work orders for issues they may be experiencing.  It's also been an asset to  our team who manages all of our facilities across our portfolio by having the ability to schedule PMs and keep on top of maintenance.  We've discussed the possibility of expanding it across the organization and create a section where teammates can request IT related requests not just facilities requests.  The breadth of the app is endless as are the possibilities that it can help solve.

The simplicity of OpenWrench and how easy it is for my team to use. The OpenWrench team is also very receptive to any feedback or suggestions and has implemented many changes that we have suggested.

I would like the OpenWrench Service app to be optimized for iPads as it is currently not and my Technicians primarily use iPads to access OpenWrench.

Detailed asset repair history. Very soon we will be implementing the inventory and parts side of OpenWrench which will help us get a better idea on how much we are spending not only on repair parts but total money that we are investing into our assets.

Ease of daily checklists and monthly PM adherence.  Daily reporting alerts you to missed compliance requirements.  User friendly maintenance requests and linked vendor work orders and invoicing allow us to track costs and repairs in one place.

Inability to run adhoc or off schedule reporting for open /missed Daily checklists.

Open Wrench allows our staff to submit tickets very easily and the supplier to have direct communication with everyone. We can track and follow-up easily, photos are stored, etc. We also use it to have sites complete routine inspections and upload them.

Supplier integration when they use another platform. That is about the only thing that we have run into in several years of use.

They take the communication for our staff spread out across a dozen locations, directly to the suppliers, eliminating the bottleneck around my staff. This has spread up our resolution rate and helps get the location back to operating condition.

OpenWrench is the best maintenance management system there is. It's a one stop shop for facilities maintenance. Easy to use system and the back end support is unmatched. We couldn't manage our facilities with out.

No notes. The only down side is more people don't use it.

Cannot edit a User e-mail if typed incorrectly.  Would like to give Read Only access to clients' budgets

Easy to schedule and manage Planned Maintenance.  Easy to train clients on how to Open/Track reactive work orders.  Simple invoice tracking.  Provides good communication for everyone.  Can create all sorts of reports.

OpenWrench is an exceptional tool, but what makes OW as effective as it is lies in their team and their agility.  The OW team is committed to delivering results to their customers, often evaluating if the software can me improved, modified, or tweaked to provide different or new functionality.  I appreciate the OW team, and we're thrilled to be working together.

Every concern or issue that we have had with OpenWrench has been addressed or improved.  I can't think of one item that we have disliked.
