### 3. Webroot provides comprehensive DNS protection for DoH Resolver Servers without compromising demands

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghna S. | Cloud Engineer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2023

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

We go with Webroot DNS Protection to improve the security & privacy of our customer's DNS requests. DNS visibility is excellent as we can gain insights into the applications in use, customer visits, session metrics and event logs. Since it's a fully-managed DNS solution for security, each request is scanned for malicious actors and threats are dismissed before entering our application servers.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

We have recently transitioned to the Webroot DNS protection platform as we work with DoH resolver servers. We could notice a significant improvement in our DNS functionalities, such as request filtering, visibility and custom logging levels. It also offers DoH request blocking for use cases where we need to retain DNS filtering & visibility of incoming requests.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DNS over HTTPS (DoH) resolver servers allows us to manage our remote DNS requests from our customers by using HTTPS protocol. In order to reinforce DNS protection for our DoH resolvers, we utilize the Webroot DNS Protection platform.

We can securely filter all DNS requests for customer-critical domains and reduce the possibilities of threat exposure. Visibility configuration for our local DoH resolvers is also straightforward in the Webroot Management console.

Since it's a cloud-based platform, no hardware installation is required & its onboarding and setup just take a few minutes. There are various deployment options & policy controls for improving flexibility and customer regulatory compliance standards.

 ### 4. It's a great DNS product overall, that keeps your endpoints safe

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Various Webroot Endpoint software and Webroot Customer Service.

Webroot products work as expected but the support are just incredibly easy to get a hold of, not to mention that they're very friendly!

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

I can't say I dislike anything about this product as I still need a bit more exposure to how it works but overall, it does what it says on the tin and does so for many of our clients.

There are conflicts with the likes of Watchguard TDR and products that already control DNS methods/routing, but, that's just how it is.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Using Webroot DNS Protection means that there's an extra layer of protection on the machine. It's better to be safer than sorry and DNS protection helps mitigate the risk of malicious websites attacking a user's machine.

 ### 5. More trouble then its worth.

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brian C. | VP & Information Security Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 19, 2022

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Filtering worked decently, the fact it was integrated with the anti-virus tool did make management much easier in some aspects, but it turned out to also be its downfall.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Management was a pain, commands like uninstall often failed, and the control panel has weird bugs such as if you turn off the product it still bills you for active IPs unless you delete them first... and even then they may or may not stop billing.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

End user and network protection from threats as well as enforcing company policies about what websites may be visited on company computers.

 ### 6. Perfect for our use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel B. | Professional Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

This is key for us to be able to support out customers in the best way possible and Webroot allows this to happen. We love the definitions are cloud based and always updates and in incorporates well with our other systems (ConnectWise).

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

What is there to dislike? We have had a great experience with Webroot and their support are always happy to get involved with any problem we have.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Reach out to the community for assistance with fine tuning.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The simplicity of the system allows up to save time with new deployments and administration. Previous software would be such a hassle. Since using Webroot we have not had any major malicious outbreaks and we can also make them guarantees to our customers.

 ### 7. My favorite DNS protection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno N. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Webroot DNS Protection is a SaaS (Software as a Service) solution that filters all DNS requests from a system in order to stop traffic to domains that can pose a security risk.
Webroot DNS Protection works by sending all DNS requests, both at the individual device level and at the local network level, to Webroot's secure DNS. Webroot DNS Protection works with both clear and encrypted requests (DoH, DNS over HTTPS).
Webroot's DNS servers are located in the Google Cloud datacenters, which guarantees excellent performance, great security and excellent privacy.
Encryption is an important aspect in DoH (DNS over HTTPS), as it ensures the security of DNS connections. Webroot DNS Protection leverages DoH encryption while providing visibility, logging and security in DNS requests.

Full support for DoH at the network, user, browser and roaming levels
complete visibility of all DNS requests, in order to allow administrators access complete information about the use of the internet within their organization, in order to be able to make effective decisions on security and access control.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The console configuration is not immediately understandable

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DNS protection for browsing even in the absence of a physical firewall
Fewer infections and attacks, thanks to the blocking of malicious or unwanted sites, which produce a decrease in security costs
Granular and easily implementable access policies, at user, group, or IP address level, allow greater control over navigation and optimization of internal resources.

 ### 8. Solid and Reliable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rick W. | Sales and Marketing Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2020

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

I like the fact that it gives complete peace of mind. It removes the worry that clients will have more problems when browsing online and raising unnecessary support tickets.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Some of the settings can be a little convoluted.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Take the trial first and see if it is the right fit for you.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Prevent clients having issues with their users accessing sites that they should not be.

 ### 9. Provides Fast, Reliable DNS with Up-to-the-Minute Security Against Harmful Sites

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Y. | President, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Webroot DNS Protection is easy to deploy and maintain, a lot of thought has obviously gone into streamlining the user experience. Once deployed, protection is straightforward. An administrator has a lot of flexibility over what and how users are blocked and what can assign different levels of users differing abilities. Webroots massive database of harmful IP addresses is updated continually, and DNS Protection draws on that huge foundation of knowledge to pair with machine learning/AI to sculpt security settings in real-time.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Ability to have more granularity in selecting specific block settings. There are times, particularly when working with clients in the legal profession, when more access to sites normally blocked for content (not malware) is needed. The ability to "unlock" certain blocks for a period of time (1-4 hours for example) so that we don't have to remember to go back and re-engage would be helpful.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webroot DNS Protection when paired with Endpoint Protection stops virtually all phishing attempts that make it through Microsoft365's system. Even the newest malware payloads and phish landing pages seem to be blocked by Webroot.

 ### 10. DNS Protection Review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom C. | IT Support Technician, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Ability to limit access to sites and different topics. Can look into what users/computers are visiting sites, gives you reports to look at and very helpful in terms of evaluation.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Typically have no dislikes about Webroot DNS. Could offer more options for blocking or training on DNS protection.

Certainly needs a few more features, the portal is a bit messy when creating policies.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

100% recommended to use Webroot, is an excellent software way up with its other competitors. Try to find something that offers the same features for the same money.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving issues with people being on sites they shouldn't be during working hours. Allows users to focus on work only sites. Benefits I have realized are that it lets users focus on the work they should be doing rather than being able to browse to news sites and any other non work related sites.

 ### 11. Easy to use and very low profile

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Koby D. | Advanced Services Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

My favorite part about Webroot DNS Protect is that it is virtually silent. I can turn it on for clients and the majority of them never even realize it is active unless they manage to hit a page that we have blocked. The setup process is not perfect by any means, but it is fairly simple to follow the instructions and begin testing.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

As previously mentioned, there are a few things in the setup that could be a little better explained, but most of the documentation is sound. The primary complaint that I have is that I have to fight the DNS configuration when I am attempting to set a static IP address on my machine. A technician mode or something that can be used to temporarily override the DNS settings would be a fantastic addition.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

I think Webroot DNS Protection is a fantastic product, especially because it is fairly "Set and Forget" and does not require much effort to administer at all. Adjusting policies is easy and can be done on the fly and on a per organization basis if you manage multiple tenants.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Webroot DNS Protection offers an additional layer of protection that we already have in place with firewalls and other security features. However, the biggest benefit to Webroot DNS Protection is that it follows you everywhere. Once you leave the office, a firewall is useless. Webroot DNS Protection extends the defensive line out into the world, whether you are at home, a coffee shop, or an airport.

 ### 12. Simple to use and effective

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The best thing about Webroot DNS is how easy it is to use. It has default policies to use, and I don't have to set up my own essentially. It is pretty much a firewall for people on the go.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

I dislike the fact there aren't more options to do. As of now, all I can do is block a domain and change policies. I feel there should be more customization or more features.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Just keep tabs on changes that need to be made and what the company is looking for in the product

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main issue that was resolved is that we stopped people from using their work PCs from going to sites they did not need to go to that are not blocked by a standard company firewall.

 ### 13. Another Protection Layer

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gordon K. | Technical Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The setup is pretty straight forward, and any issues you do experience technical support is there to assist very quickly.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

I do not have any real dislikes, other than possibly for speeding up the caching side of things when changes are made.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Take the time to go over the requirements, installation etc. and things will go smoothly.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When dealing with the building trade... the guys do have a tendency to wander to sites in their lunch breaks... that while fine at home, are not really suitable for the work laptop lets say! The DNS protection has allowed a very simple way to monitor and control this particular challenge, and if they do have connectivity issues... well they certainly don't get on the phone to complain to tech support about it!

 ### 14. DNS filtering is efficient at improving cyber security for my clients and their well-being.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2019

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The Webroot DNS Protection helps me, for the lack of a better phrase, sleep better at night knowing there is an extra layer of protection to my user base.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The management console can be cumbersome to navigate and the reporting needs to be refined

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

I'd highly suggest investigating other alternatives to Webroot DNS Protection prior to making a commitment.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DNS filtering is indispensable for us to protect our customers against the growing amount of phishing and malware on the internet. Cyber criminals love to use phishing links to get web surfers’ personal and corporate information. Phishers’ victims bear the consequences which vary from mildly negative to tremendously devastating, like loss of large sums of money from bank accounts. We can help ensure that doesn’t happen with Webroot DNS Protection!

 ### 15. REVIEW Webroot DNS Protection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephan v. | Tenable Guru and SentinelOne Pre-sales Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2021

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin H. | Managing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The interface is very intuitive, it’s been designed well for MSP’s unlike many other DNS products and it’s fairly lightweight and unobtrusive.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

In some instances it can cause applications to fail and cause connectivity issues with end users.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

A worthy option when considering DNS. No solutions are perfect but depending on your business l, especially if you are an MSP Webroot is a good choice.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

DNS filtering is a key element in the cyber security mix and is especially useful for mobile devices like laptops, when they move outside of the corporate network and outside of the protection of the local firewall.

 ### 17. DNS REview

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 22, 2021

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

There is nothing I have found that isn't to like

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

For companies that are looking to implement Webroot DNS protection I would recommend that you implement this on a test basis to being with to determine how adequate the protection is at a client level

Haven't found any down sides at the moment

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Stop thinking about it and start configuring it

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can sleep at night knowing that my end users are protected when working remotely

 ### 19. Destination - Trusted

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adrian B. | Helpdesk Support Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Encryption of DNS requests ensures that submissions made to DNS servers are not intercepted and false information is returned causing you to be directed to dangerous and malicious sites, on any platform. Being able to fine tune its application across the network and hardware estate

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

No current agents available for non-Windows devices to allow protection when outside of the network

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Fully featured application to protect users in the organisation.

Ease of deployment - minutes to configure and protect.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Protecting users as they search the web or click URL links knowing that the DNS requests are returned with the correct destination server information. Stopping Malware mis-directing traffic.

 ### 20. Easy to configure and use. Seamless protection!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael O. | Managing Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2020

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Controlled using the same cloud based control panel and agent as the Endpoint Protection deployment of the DNS protection agent is easy and provides a configurable security safety net for browsing.

The DNS servers allow protecting entire internet connections albeit unsophisticatedly.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The caching interval on the DNS servers is far too high, it takes a good 72 hours to pick up changes after they are made. Lack of MacOS agent support and poor logging/integrations are downsides.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Basic web filtering needs and security needs. Better more secure browsing across our client base.

 ### 21. Best Internet protection

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

It is easy to use and manage with great tools for it techs to work with.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

So far I haven’t discovered anything I dislike.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Check pricing and features compared to similar products that offer what you need. Webroot is a great package

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have clients that need peace of mind that their network connection is safe and secure, Webroot DNS Protection clearly provides this.

 ### 22. Does the job well with a little administrative clunkiness

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The ease of managing multiple customers, for example having a single 'base' policy pushed to all your clients is a huge win.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

What you get in scaled management you lose out in micro-management. Creating an exception for a single device for example is incredibly difficult, if not impossible to do.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Going back to the positive point is that we needed a web protection solution that was simple to roll out (very simple since we use Webroot AV as well) and scaled well.

 ### 23. Prevent your users going to the wrong places

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2019

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Once set up, you can forget about it; users won't get to those dangerous places - they get blocked at the DNS level. So your network and other lines of defense don't even have to deal with it. And the laptops, on the road or at home, will get the protection whichever WiFi network they are on.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Setting up with some sensible defaults works pretty well, but you'll always have some exceptions to add to the rules. Category-based filters inevitably aren't perfect.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

If you are already using other Webroot products, you get to mange them on the same management console.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is very low maintenance, and adds an extra layer to our security for endpoints at home, on the road or in the office.

 ### 24. DNS Protect is protection from hackers when on public or unsecured wifi

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Teri M. | IT Solution Specialist and Sr. Account Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

I like that this is a solution that protects users when they are on public wifi. It is easy to use and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The user interface could be a little simpler to use, but you get used to it.

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

I recommend the entire suite of Webroot product. They've all protected our networks for several years.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internet protection on public wifi like Starbucks or Panera, etc. Keeping ill-intended hackers from accessing personal data when on public wifi.

 ### 25. Easy to deploy and just works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe R. | Service Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 20, 2019

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

The fact that this fails open instead of failing closed has been great.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Would be better for customisation for end users rather than controling all from GSM

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Webroot works really well and if you already use it as an AV then deployment of this is super easy.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Things like malware and adware on web pages are no longer a concern for us. This has meant that we can focus on user education instead of firefighting constantly.

 ### 26. The best companion to today's security challenges in fleet management

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Etienne U. | Senior System and Network Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Having my fleet of computer in the wild, on the road or at home, and still protected

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Trusting a deploy'n'forget solution in a security challenge can be hard to overcome

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With more and more working from home and mobile users, i now have a solution that protects my devices even when they are not behind enterprise grade security solution in the office

 ### 27. Webroot DNS Protection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin V. | Senior Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

It integrates on the firewall level, not only the device level. In the world, as we know it, BYOD is massive, as well as visitors, and protecting your assets (being your data) is at the forefront. Thus DNS Protection is of utmost importance.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

No local webroot dns servers available in SA as of yet

**Recommendations to others considering Webroot DNS Protection:**

Easy to set up and use, and really works well.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

BYOD protection.
Guest protection.

The ability to block/allow categories and then from here block/allow specific URLs. It makes catering to customers needs very easy.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

Occasionally when the service stops on a machine it will fall over. From here the machine has no internet.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to secure home working users that don't have the protection of a UTM by blocking certain categories.

 ### 29. webroot dns protection

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

simple to add to current endpoint protection, same per seat cost as endpoint protection

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

I dislike that the endpoint also requires webroot endpoint protection to be able to add dns protection

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

looking to add addtional protection to the enviroment in addtion to current firewall.

 ### 30. Webroot's DNS Protection is above all else

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 25, 2020

**What do you like best about Webroot DNS Protection?**

When the Webroot DNSP policies are configured properly, it can result in having a very stable PC. This may sound strange, but it's amazing how much troubles there are on PC's with full access to every website, and are not protected from Malicious websites and downloads. Webroot DNSP blocks malicious sites together with any other Category of sites you may choose to block. This combination is powerful and results in keeping the PC's stable as it prevents downloading content from Malicious and inappropriate websites.

What I also like is how fast and easy the DNSP agent installs when used together with Webroot Endpoint Protection, once the Webroot Policy is configured in the Webroot GSM console and applied to the endpoint.

**What do you dislike about Webroot DNS Protection?**

* I dislike currently the time it takes to update changes to the DNSP policies and the white or blacklisting of URL's... approx 15 minutes. I do believe Webroot is working on reducing this time.
* It's also a bit disappointing that there's no DNSP agent available for Mobile devices, but when it's configured at a network level, then mobile devices are protected when they are connected to the same network. This is however not always possible if you or your customer do not have a static public IP.
* The GSM console currently lacks visibility of the overall status and operation of the DNSP agent. It would be great if this could be more easily monitored and alerted on.

**What problems is Webroot DNS Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an MSP, Webroot DNS Protection together with Webroot Endpoint Protection has been invaluable to me for protecting me and my customers PC's and keeping them stable. This has resulted in reducing unnecessary Support Tickets and freeing up my time to concentrate on more important and critical Support Tickets.

Webroot just recently released another layer of defense which is called Evasion Shield. This is a great addition and compliments DNS Protection since it blocks malicious scripts.

So in Summary
DNS Protection = More Stable PC's and Network + More Free Time + Less Support Tickets
