Its always been a solid product and from time to time when support needed to be engaged, it was a simple and timely process. Their eDiscovery layout is simple and effective, mobile acquisition is simple and extensive, customs enScripts and AppCentral supported by the vendor/community are truly amazing. **What do you dislike about OpenText Forensic (EnCase)?** The new corporate licensing model that was introduced is more of an edr solution at a cost. The only way you can obtain a standalone client is if you are now law enforcement. **What problems is OpenText Forensic (EnCase) solving and how is that benefiting you?** EnCase assisted with all types of cyber investigations, whether they were for incident response, malware outbreaks, HR/legal investigations, it was our primary tool. ### 5. This features should be use by investigators. **What do you dislike about OpenText Forensic (EnCase)?** Analyzing big raw or e01 files is slow. Disk sizes are getting increasing, so this problem may be bigger. Some cases cant accept this speed of analyze, for example: hacking bank accounts. **What problems is OpenText Forensic (EnCase) solving and how is that benefiting you?** Many cases need to carve files. This feature really help me in investigations. When i working on a case two mounta ago, there was a child porn photo on disk image and I carved this file via EnCase tool. Problem solved. ### 6. Deleted files and images also recoved. Decryption is also possible. Memory analysis, registry analysis, email analysis everything is good. **What do you dislike about OpenText Forensic (EnCase)?** Encase UI is quite difficult. Enase installation is also difficult but that is one time process so we can ignore that.
