Very helpful for seeing all phases of the project. Earthwork to finishes/completion all stages can be tracked. I pulled up openspace for coordination between trades or when reporting to my managers. It made it easy to view the project without being there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Viewing areas off of the drawing like outdoors did not work well. Sitework needs to be tracked separate than the first floor. Each floor or area (as designated by drawings) need to be tracked separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are capable of mapping a site in 30 minutes or less based on size. It saves so much time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have not run into any issues yet but have only used it a few times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OpenSpace photographs your surroundings in 360 degrees caputring photos of things that you might miss when on a construction jobsite. It also allow you to easily organize the information by date and location via a floorplan. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I currently dislike that there is no connection within OpenSapce to Autodesk Construction Cloud. There are connections with Procore and PlanGrid but not ACC. Hopefully that will change soon. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I moved to open space from another 360 capturing software, i can easily identify the difference and how openspace can change the entire site coordination process. It is very fast when compared to other softwares and much better than any traditional captures. I can monitor the progress on site concerning the design models changes. It is very simple to learn how to use and was able to upload the data in a short time. It gives you the ability to just walk and record everything at the same time & to compare images at different times. I could understand what clashes are unsolved and why. Sharing my reports with the design & construction teams is much eaiser. The Mounting helmet and camera bracket are very steady, useful and eaisy to use. I use this platform for construction project documentation, tracking, and remote visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
3D model comparison against the real captures needs improvement. When moving fast, the rendering of images from the model is not fast enough, even with powerful machines. During real captures, walking fast would compromise the quality of the picture. Desktop sync software needs more improvement. The mounting bracket should be updated to allow connecting the 360 camera with a power source for longer capturing time without losing access to the camera control buttons. Supports interactive presentation of dynamic data from observations, simulations, and space mission planning and operations Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
nothing that I can think of, it's a great product! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the critical benefits of OpenSpace is its ability to provide a comprehensive and accurate view of the job site, which can help project teams identify and resolve issues more efficiently. This can save time and money, improve safety, and reduce the risk of errors and delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
OpenSpace can be a valuable tool for construction teams looking to improve collaboration, efficiency, and safety in their projects but it requires training for beginners on how to use the software Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the split screen ability to look at the current state vs. the previous state and rough in.
You can never capture everything in one picture, but with the 360* capability it is much easier to visualize the entire space and surroundings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The picture quality is sometimes poor and being able to zoom in on anything is not very effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how advanced the software is and its modeling capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like the limited amount of assets that I can implement into one room. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Synced browsing for scanned model and 3d model for comparison.
we can monitor the progress on site with respect to the model.
It increases the understanding of site procedures and helps improve future modeling tasks as we can understand the things that are different on-site than in the model.
The Lock feature between real and rendered views is very helpful.
It gives realistic depictions and representations of the clearances in the mechanical equipment that you model.
It shows how much clearance and tolerance are required and accepted on site.
It helps you understand how the approximations are taken into account while construction, and what changes are acceptable and feasible while deviating from the 3d model in field.
It is very fast when compared to its competitors and miles better than the manual photo and video capture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Even in the locked orientation when you move the 3D model around the as-built model does not pan as required, you are forced to navigate from the as-built model.
When I try to move fast the rendering of images is slow and there is no way to access hardware acceleration to facilitate and speed up the process.
There is no way to increase or decrease the frequency of photo capture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great for looking back at concrete slab formwork and embedded items.
When changes are necessary and require slab drilling or coring we can learn were to avoid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No dislikes in the data collection. The file sitting is somewhat cumbersome and or immediately intuitive. A separate log screen with quick links would help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
