I used to spend hours searching through project folders, site visit photos, etc. to find images for our marketing needs. Now they are all in one place. So easy to use. My biggest wish from using OpenAsset would be to be able to flip through images faster using the interface, as it can take a few seconds to advance through each image. The ablity to centralize and create searchability within our photography and brand assets has been a huge win for our team. Gone are the days of broken links in Indesign and piles of photos that no one knows what project they belong to, or how to find an image of a specific thing when you need it. There is overlap in the employee module function with some of our other vendors, this has deterred us from purchasing this peice of the product, but would be great to add this in the future, especially in light of the integration available with Cosential/Unanet. Open Asset offers a great web-based platform to see our company's digital assets. I appreciate being able to filter and view files in a quick and easy to navigate interface. We have been an OpenAsset customer for many years, and they are continuously improving their system and always looking for feedback on how they can serve us better. OpenAsset has been a life saver for organizing our digital assets. It's so easy to find images and drop in our Adobe software (ie. InDesign, PowerPoint, etc.). No more broken links! The customer service team is the best I've ever worked with - extremely responsive and our account manager is always willing to jump on a call to talk through any questions. It also integrates with our marketing software, Unanet, making it easy to create profiles for our projects. I believe they are working on an Illustrator drag-and-drop feature (to be released soon) and am hopeful that one day we will be able to drag-and-drop videos into PowerPoint so that we can start saving those within the platform as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
