It saves a lot of time and makes the project turn around quick. **What do you dislike about OpenAsset?** If things are properly uploaded - it can take ages to find what you're looking for. **Recommendations to others considering OpenAsset:** Go for it! It's the best. **What problems is OpenAsset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time management mostly. OpenAsset allows us to pull photos for clients quicker then we would using a network drive. ### 2. If I do need help, customer support is very good. Seamless and optimized with InDesign. **What do you dislike about OpenAsset?** Their pricing structures are not the most flexible. Good plans for very large and very small firms. If you're in between, you don't seem to get the best value per dollar. **Recommendations to others considering OpenAsset:** Go for it. **What problems is OpenAsset solving and how is that benefiting you?** No more broken links! It's a life saver. ### 3. This would streamline the workflow a lot! **Recommendations to others considering OpenAsset:** Look into whether its functionality is already implemented through a service you already use. **What problems is OpenAsset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Sharing information between studios is much, much easier! ### 4. The admin interface is equally user friendly. The Vision connector is fantastic for connecting with Deltek and the software is supported by Synthesis developers. The support is the best I've encountered in 12 years of working with other DAM systems. BIM users love it. Retrieving assets at different resolutions is fast, as is sharing and editing albums. **What do you dislike about OpenAsset?** Unable to look through multiple page PDFs or PowerPoint shows, or process the same into raster files. Needs better connectivity through mobile devices, but I believe that they will be coming out with a cloud version that will address this issue **Recommendations to others considering OpenAsset:** This tool can enhance your workflow, but it cannot fix it. If your current processes are broken, I recommend fixing them before you commit to any DAM system. Also, spend the time needed in preparation for this or any other DAM solution. Planning and organizing makes implementation much easier. **What problems is OpenAsset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Safeguarding assets is always a priority, and OpenAsset does that in spades, but it is more than just a repository for our assets. This system does more for improving our image heavy workflow than any other solution we've tried. It's user friendly interface makes it easy to train new users.
