It might be nice to have a leading images for every seach atm all the results seem to carry the same level of importance. **What problems is OpenAsset solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a nice tool to store and organise impprtant sensitive data. We gighly recommend for anyone who is looking to implement an easy digital asset maangement software. **What do you dislike about OpenAsset?** Open Asset has numerous bells and whistles which may not be what all organizations need. It's focus on the management of photography assets, video, graphics and integration with project data is an area other digital asset management systems seem to fall short. From a user perspective, it's easy to use, the search is robust, download options are endless and it's collaborative albums make it easy to share and curate media. The presentation of project information on landing pages is well thought out and nicely designed - which I find important for the designers in the field. The new ai similar search features make it easy to find relevant images for a variety of needs. The Indesign Plugin makes it easy to create tearsheets. From the admin side, its far more efficient and advanced than other products I've used. It's easy to manage permissions, set download parameters, and most importantly manage the taxonomy and keywording. it's fast and logical. They continue to improve features that are relevant to the work we do. Tech support and overall customers service is good. They seem to listen to suggestions to improve the product. **What do you dislike about OpenAsset?** I'd like to see continued development using AI to keyword assets. We've had staff ask if they can tag images. I think this idea could expand the search relevance. They continue to improve the graphic interface and landing pages, but a more polished graphic design and ability to skin the design with company branding might be more visually appealing to designers in the industry. **What problems is OpenAsset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Knowledge sharing. The integration of project data and media, presented in a well designed layout, makes it easy to find, share, learn and market project work. It saves on local storage costs, organization and transferring files. It's cloud application makes it accessibile anywhere- this is key for staff that travels a lot. The drag and drop function makes it so quick to upload into our Indesign and Powerpoint files. The album feature makes it so easy to select mutliple photos across different categories and download them in one big batch. Recently, a new AI feature was introduced that creates descriptions/bios for projects and personnel. I use this feature quite often as this is often required when working on marketing projects - it's impressive how well the AI generator can write. It's hard to imagine my day as a marketing professional without OpenAsset. Such a useful and powerful data management tool! **What do you dislike about OpenAsset?** The search tool could be more powerful; rather than the site being divided into 'Files', 'Employees', and 'Projects', I think it can be simplified so there is simply only 1 way to search all categories with the search pulling up the relevant options. Sometimes I forget to select the specific category before searching. There's an awesome problem-hunting to solution-seeking lens they bring to the table. Beyond making it so much easier to manage digital assets (photography, logos, PDFs, etc.), they make proposal generation much, much, much easier with the exportable InDesign pages of projects and resumes. By removing copy/pasting and layout from the document development process, they allow me to focus on what's important: the pursuit strategy. OpenAsset also serves as my one-stop shop for basic project information, having connected it to our Deltek database. (I will always prefer to check something on OpenAsset.) **What do you dislike about OpenAsset?** There is hardly anything I dislike about OpenAsset. Sometimes, I feel like the user experience is a little more difficult for others in my firm who don't use it every day (like I do) than it needs to be, but that's about it. **What problems is OpenAsset solving and how is that benefiting you?** OpenAsset helps me do so many things. Part of what's great about it as an digital asset manager is that you can use the system really flexibly: beyond project and staff imagery, I store logos and other branding graphics as well as frequently used images and other graphic content. Having this content in the cloud and not needing to constantly reset links in InDesign is a god send. The project page and resume templates generate HUGE efficiencies in my proposal generation workflow; I save hours every week using them, as opposed to developing (or managing) them manually. ### 24. With the robust amount of information it holds, it is the first thing we go to when creating resumes or project data sheets for our proposals. It works with our template, pulls and links relevant photos, and basically acts as an encyclopedia for our company. The ease of use with the drag-and-drop feature saves so much time, as well as the robust tag and search features. Linking images automatically in InDesign saves even more time. Our marketing and communications teams could not function without this tool. I use it every day, and multiple times every day. If used correctly you can share documents across your firm without having to package them up to send them to another person. All links are embedded through the cloud and they will never be broken. Implementation was very easy - you give them a spreadsheet with paths for your images, choose the 'ranking', and they will pull your data into the system. You can also add Staff photos to the system, which if you buy the Employees module - you can have autoplaced in resumes. We also push the staff photos back to our Intranet for internal use. Projects are very easy to implement also to their system, same basic philosophy as the images. You choose which projects you want pulled in. Customer Service is very friendly and helpful - they are also very quick to get you an answer to your problem or the information that you can't pull on your own. OA is used every day by hundreds of people in our firm for lots of reasons.
