"Monthly Updates and Hassle-Free Cross-Platform Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Onshape?

The continual updates that happen each month as well as the ability to collaborate without the hassle of file check in / check out of other systems. If there is not a feature currently available it is likely already being worked or feature scripts help to bridge the gap. Cross platform also makes it easy to work on an operating system or even review items on mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Onshape?

The 2D drawing tool could use improvement, specifically it feels like a separate product in that multiple users cannot be in it at the same time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use, Cloud-Based CAD for Teamwork"
5/5
What do you like best about Onshape?

It operates entirely within the browser, so I don't have to install any heavy software or be concerned about my system's performance. I can access it from any computer and pick up my work right where I left off. The interface is straightforward and user-friendly, making it accessible even for those who aren't CAD experts. I also appreciate how easy it is to implement and integrate. The customer support is very good, and it offers a solid range of features that make it suitable for frequent use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Onshape?

There isn’t really anything I dislike about Onshape, except for one issue: it relies entirely on an internet connection. If your connection is slow or unstable, the software’s performance also suffers, which can be quite frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Design, Great for Collaboration"
5/5
What do you like best about Onshape?

I really like Onshape because it's very intuitive for the most part, which makes creating new models much more efficient and enjoyable. I appreciate how parts of an assembly are created in the same space, which allows for faster changes and saves time. Instead of having a separate design tree for each part, Onshape lets me use one design tree shared across several parts. I also found that basic modeling was quick to learn within a few weeks, and becoming more proficient took about six months, even without direct training, thanks to the helpful Onshape support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Onshape?

3D Sketch is an area that needs more development. There are several 3D Sketch functions in Onshape, and a more refined approach would be helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
