"OnPage"

What do you like best about OnPage?

Able to direct alerts for critical incidents and after-hours support directly to the required Engineer or Group. This allows the comfort of knowing action will be taken and no need to worry if an email or SMS has reached them.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

Only issue would be that we have found that on Andriod-based devices should the app not be used over time the Andriod OS might decide to remove or limit the application putting it into a deep sleep. This is just something to keep in mind, we also send a test message to make sure the engineer looking after the OnPage application gets alerted when covering his/her shift.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows us to sleep at night knowing that critical incidents are looked after. Emails/SMS Alerts did not always make there way through to the required engineer. OnPage alerts them with no place to hide :)

"Effective Paging System"

What do you like best about OnPage?

Simple platform to configure with multiple ways to initiate pages. The escalated pages are really useful for critical infrastructure issues assuring that any technician within the group will get notified if the initial technician is unavailable.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

The management portal is a tad dated but still functional.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Instead of relying on technicians checking voicemails or waiting for calls, OnPage has allowed us to simplify how clients can request urgent service and has improved the response time in getting issues resolved.

"Easy to use; Works Well; Consistent"

What do you like best about OnPage?

Works every time I need it to. Pages me on time and with high alert.

Does what its designed to do, and it does it well and consistently.

I enjoy that it lets me choose my own notification sounds.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

The interface could use an update. Feels a bit dated on IOS at least, could be updated to feel a bit more modern. Minimal settings, could maybe add a few more things.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it for on-call alerting and it works well.

"Works well, Better than calls from a call center."

What do you like best about OnPage?

The fact that I can work and note tickets without opening our ticketing system.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

The ring tones it uses are incredibly loud and there is no option for vibrate only.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

It got us away from live calls from a call center.

"Works well functionally, but could use a facelift"

What do you like best about OnPage?

The ease of use to edit schedules is great, and we are able to switch on the fly as needed for on-call users. In addition, as far as I am aware we have never missed an on-call alert due to OnPage not sending a notice.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

The app makes it difficult to see the latest ticket note for an Autotask-synced ticket. This creates issues where I have to open the ticket in a separate app to see if this needs to be worked further.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows our business to have an on-call person (or multiple, if that happens one day) so we can continue to provide support to our clients even in the off-hours.

"OnPage is a self explanatory system, very easy to use and works everytime."

What do you like best about OnPage?

It's helpful in alerting us of any notifications we receive outside of our regular business hours, this ensures we are covered for out of hours calls and emergency work.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

There aren't many downsides I would consider. It works how we need it to, and it works effectively. The only downside is the layout of the app.

"Never missed an alert that uses OnPage which fulfills its purpose, can cause volume issues however."

What do you like best about OnPage?

OnPage is incredibly useful to never miss alerts as I am a heavy sleeper but it still wakes me up quite easily. I also appreciate that it can be silenced in the app if needed.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

The app needs a bit of work (at least on the Android side) since it has a habit of messing with the media volume if I am listening to something while an alert comes in and cannot be fixed until I reboot my phone. User interface could also use a refresh

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

Receiving critical alerts during after-hours that our techs notice and must acknowledge. If anything OnPage is a bit too good at its job and all my coworkers hate it.

"Good product, not able to affect feature requests is the only issue I have"

What do you like best about OnPage?

It works consistently, good tools. Integration with connectwise is very useful

What do you dislike about OnPage?

How it responds in the summary, removes original summary and messes up closed loop ticket integration.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to get visibilty on tickets that previously we were not able to see. Especially if they were emailed tickets.

No more carrying around a physical pager

App can sometimes be slow or hang up. Occasionally you need to log out/in to get pages flowing.
