"Great notification & paging tool"

What do you like best about OnPage?

It integrates very easily into our current ticketing system. The integrations allow for granular notifications, routing, and esclation. All of this with a scheduling feature to setup rotations weeks in advance.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

Current multi-factor authentication options are limited.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

OnPage has unchained our on-call staff from their desks. Allowing them to be available for an incident without having to monitor email every 5 minutes.

the alert system is excellent, the sounds are sufficient to wake the dead, and the interface is intuitive

"Oncall made easy"

What do you like best about OnPage?

Direct alerts for high-priority incidents where seconds count is so much more efficient than receiving something like an email or a text message.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

I dislike that sending direct alerts to other contacts sometimes don't arrive within 5 minutes due to home WiFi or firewall settings.

Directly messaging other contacts and receiving a confirmation message of delivery would be a great addition, even a re-try message option or a 'network check' in the settings menu to confirm that nothing is blocking the OnPage communications.

A network test feature to ensure the application can communicate with external servers

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

OnPage is solving the High Priority alerting for critical issues within our MSP landscape. It is the difference between receiving one clear alert and receiving 10+ emails from monitoring software.

"OnPage works exactly as it should"

What do you like best about OnPage?

The reliability of this application is what I am happy with.

The default alert sound is downright terrifying. I had to change that ASAP!

We have a rotating on call schedule. The admin interface works great, and is very flexible with timing and change.

"Never Miss an Emergency Call Again!"

What do you like best about OnPage?

I like how the system overrides the volume setting on your phone. I get emails and text messages through the night, so I turned down my notifications, but I have missed some of our client's emergency calls. So I had to keep the volume up on my notifications. With OnPage, I can turn everything down, even the ringer, and still get notified of an emergency call.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

So far I have not found anything I do not like.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had an after-hours emergency notification system for some of our clients. We installed a new phone system and Voice mail system that handled our after-hour notifications. When we changed our phone system, we lost this feature. OnPage has given us this ability back, and it's even better than our previous system.

What do you like best about OnPage?

Alerts populate to my phone screen and have an audible alarm so I know when I have an alert.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

Sometimes I have to click on an alert more than once for it to register.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

After hours alerts benefits me so I know what tickets come in after hours without having to constantly check.

"A "set and forget" workhorse of a tool!"

What do you like best about OnPage?

It works so reliably, and has for several years, that even the details of how we initially configured it for them have become fuzzy for me. The dashboard provides pretty much all we need to know at a quick glance.

What do you dislike about OnPage?

The only downsides I can think of aren't really even downsides. First, because it works so well, any details we haven't documented from our initial setup are probably lost; it's been almost four years since our initial configuration. Second, there's probably more we can use OnPage for, but we're not aware of the scope of possibilities.

What problems is OnPage solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use OnPage to notify our support staff when a customer leaves a support voicemail after hours, and it notifies the on-call resource that there's a message. There's also an escalation process to keep team leads informed when our normal processes can't keep up.
