There have been points that have made OneTrust difficult to use at times, however, the support team has always assisted. We would like to see improvements concerning updates on different assessments, reflecting any updated guidelines/regulations. It took some time to make changes for our industry. It got solved, but initially, during our first implementation, we would have appreciated more proactive guidance from them. After the facts, we realized that we lacked 360 knowledge to fully understand how it should be implemented in our systems, more precisely what to be aware of, and validate at each step to avoid data issues after deployment. Everything about this software, its design, and the approach the company uses towards development showcases it has little to no experience with professional software development, IT approaches, customer support, or user interfaces. We would experience regular outages across our 50K person company only to be told time and again it was our issue, not OneTrust's. Basic functionality in managing users, modifying questions, and publishing new versions failed to meet expectations.
