What do you like best about Bonterra OneCause?

The Fundraising Platform is pretty easy to use once you learn it. Updates are always being made and you guys seem to listen to customer feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonterra OneCause?

Go back to dedicated sales reps for customers. It was easier, better service, more personable. Didn't always have to explain everything to each person you speak to. Also, offer the ability to always be able to sort supporters by last name. When trying to pair people up for bidder number sharing in Event Supporters, you should be able to sort by last name. This would make it so much easier. Also would love the ability to be able to reclass donations - if a donor made a purchase, but later decided they wanted it to be a donation instead of a purchase, the ability to reallocate it would be helpful. Often, sponsors accidentally pay as a donation, but then I cannot move it. It skews my analytics.

Also in the P2P platform, it would be so helpful if it were more like the fundraising platform for reporting and data analysis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how Bonterra OneCause made our event planning seamless. It was a great experience for the attendees and super easy to navigate. The integration between the silent auction tickets and sponsorships was really phenomenal. It was great to be able to look up different users and see their interaction and engagement with the event site. OneCause offered excellent consulting that helped us be ready for the event and be set up for success. It was very easy to set up, and I love that OneCause offered weekly webinars that helped us really understand what we needed to do in order for it to look and perform the best. What do you like best about Bonterra OneCause?

I love how Bonterra OneCause keeps my events organized and on schedule with helpful checklists. The automated calculations save me from doing the sums myself, and I appreciate how it fixes auction descriptions. I find the event health check feature crucial to ensure nothing essential is missed for my events. It's really easy to use, and I especially love calling the helpline and getting a real person to walk me through any problems. They are very knowledgeable. The silent auction feature is clear and precise, and the layout works well. My bidders have been happy with the display photos. I also value the suggested bid amounts, which take the guesswork out of monitoring auctions. The initial setup was explained perfectly through email and setup instructions, and any problems were easily resolved through the event helpline. What do you dislike about Bonterra OneCause?

It would be awesome if we could have a QR code for scanning guests in at registration. We always seem to get long lines at check-in. I had a situation where I hadn't logged out of my account and shared the link with some friends. I thought it was the general link for our event (my fault), but it was my own personal account! What do you like best about Bonterra OneCause?

I like that Bonterra OneCause is very organized; everything has its own place. I appreciate that it divides supporters and auction items and that the ticketing setup is really easy to understand and maintain. What do you dislike about Bonterra OneCause?

I don't really like the supporter section when, like, for a golf tournament when we have a foursome and we can put one name in, and then everything else is 'guest of.' It would be nice to have an option specifically for golf tournaments to divide them up by the players. One thing that isn't helpful is when you're setting up the website, and you try to put pictures in to display, you have to use the Dropbox option. What do you like best about Bonterra OneCause?

Bonterra OneCause has made organizing our events much more efficient, bringing everything into one place. The software links everything together, making it easy to track ticket sales, guest preferences, and run reports for our catering service, which is wonderful. I love how quickly we can upload table assignments and send event details to attendees with a simple text during check-in, simplifying everything. The onsite support is invaluable—having an event manager present made our gala run smoothly, alleviating stress. The training courses are incredibly helpful, offering bite-sized, specific content. What do you dislike about Bonterra OneCause?

I would love to be able to have more robust display sheets for the Live Auction and/or Silent Auction items. Or be able to modify them before printing them. The Show Manager slides we don't use, mostly because we would like to be able to modify those as well. The display sheets and slides are very generic. I realize you need to cater to all organizations but having the ability to move components around or upload a better image or accommodate all of the sponsors in a more appealing fashion are all things we were wanting to do with the display sheets and slides. What do you dislike about Bonterra OneCause?

I'm finding the integration with Bonterra OneCause a bit problematic as it doesn't provide the proper tools to collect information effectively. There are issues with custom questions or forms that could be improved. Currently, you need to upload a link to an external form to gather specific information, which isn't very convenient. For example, gathering details like department or total headcount for events can be cumbersome. Managing ticket sales with Bonterra OneCause can also be tricky; you have to manually remove tickets from one category and add to another to avoid overselling, which makes it difficult to track total seat availability accurately. The initial setup and training are tough because the system isn't very user-friendly, and there are too many places to find things, making navigation quite challenging. I love that our representative is personable and enjoy meeting with her to hear ideas on how to smoothly manage our website and optimize performance. The instant prizes and instant buy options have greatly improved our event experience, lending an added sense of professionalism and convenience. I also value the platform’s seamless sponsor payment integration, which saves us a significant amount of time, and the flexibility to run silent auctions online well in advance, which has proven to be extremely helpful.
